Previously on Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies...
Newton and Canero face the Blood Tide's 'Bloodburst' attack. Newton's ability to distort trajectories is countered by the Blood Tide's manipulation of the blood flow, causing many blood turbines to hit them. Canero, a skilled marksman, destroys the turbines with his revolvers. The Blood Tide then transforms the blood into a veil and causes blood droplets to fall, aiming to attack from within. Newton and Canero activate their supernatural energy defenses, but the Blood Tide reveals this will drain their energy over time, forcing them to constantly defend themselves.
