I Really Am A Villain Chapter 1808 - Innate Absolute Zero Sword

Xu Zimo asked with curiosity, “Is there truly no clue whatsoever about the Goddess of Xuanming's origins? Or does Jade Court possess some forbidden territories or the like?”
Wang Ya smiled as she shook her head. “Jade Court is full of forbidden zones. The area where Peach Trees flourish counts as forbidden land. The Immortal Realm qualifies as one too. Nearly all spots tied to the Queen Mother are off-limits. Don't even dream of tracking down the Goddess of Xuanming.”
“You mentioned earlier that the Goddess of Xuanming emerges only during Jade Court's life-or-death crises, correct?” Xu Zimo pressed for confirmation.
“The ancient records state exactly that,” Wang Ya confirmed with a nod.
Xu Zimo fell silent outwardly. Deep down, though, he hoped the Azure Mystic Heaven's demon race would mount a fierce resistance. If they could summon that rumored Goddess of Xuanming, he'd finally discern if she was truly an Ancient God.
He felt no urgency. Matters demanded a methodical approach. For now, he'd collected valuable intel, marking solid advancement. He figured the clash between Azure Mystic Heaven and Jade Court loomed close. Why else would the Queen Mother rush the Peach Banquet to rally allies?
…
As they ventured further into the Peach Orchard, Jade Court disciples appeared in greater numbers. Xu Zimo casually struck now and then, grabbing peaches for Wang Ya and her brother—the only duo he knew well here.
Suddenly, Xu Zimo swept his hand, trapping five nearby peach trees in his palm's grip. The trees, which had thrashed wildly, froze in place, letting Wang Ya and Wang Ze pluck peaches gleefully.
Right then, a booming rumble echoed from the Peach Orchard's northern edge. The noise raced at blinding speed—from distant at first, closing into view after mere breaths.
The trio gazed upward. Amid swirling dust clouds, a freakish peach tree dashed on bare legs, sprinting madly. A horde of pursuers soared through the sky behind it.
This chase of humans against a lone tree looked utterly bizarre. Strangest of all, the peach tree hurled curses while fleeing.
“You fools are hilarious. Chase me if you dare. Catch me if you're able. Bet you're fuming!”
Such antics from a tree truly stunned onlookers.
“Brother Xu, snag it quick—that's the Spacetime Peach Tree,” Wang Ya urged anxiously.
“Exactly, the Peach Orchard's oddest tree,” Wang Ze chimed in excitedly. “Legend says it yields just one peach, packed with vast spacetime power—way more than any other tree here.”
Both siblings clearly coveted that tree dearly.
Xu Zimo nodded. The tree barreled straight toward him.
With another wave, immense suppressive might exploded forth. Accompanied by thunderous roars, the force sealed off the whole region, even locking the void tight.
The peach tree showed no fear upon witnessing this. It cackled instead. “Yet another fool after me.”
Laughing heartily, an unseen power burst from its form. In a flash, it pierced Xu Zimo's sealed space effortlessly and bolted away.
“Spacetime laws?” Xu Zimo murmured in astonishment.
He understood perfectly—his spatial seal was no trivial barrier. He'd frozen a vast void expanse. Breaking it required superior strength, which this tree lacked.
Thus, one conclusion: the tree's mastery of spacetime power had peaked, exceeding even his. That's how it shattered his hasty lock with ease.
“Fascinating,” Xu Zimo remarked.
He'd assumed the orchard's peaches held no value for him. This surprise changed everything.
“The tree's slipping away, Brother Xu—pursue it now,” Wang Ze yelled.
As the peach tree vanished before their eyes, Xu Zimo just grinned. “No need to panic.”
He lifted his hand, and Shadow Tyrant unsheathed itself smoothly.
Meanwhile, the trailing Jade Court disciples unleashed their skills to halt the escapee.
Some boasted tremendous power, swinging colossal axes that rent the heavens and earth, poised to fell all in their path.
Others sprouted wings on their backs, immortal qi cloaking the feathers. As they flapped, they streaked like bolts of light.
Disciples swiftly arranged formations at a mere glance. In the blink of an eye, tens of thousands of arrays emerged. Encased within massive teleportation formations, they traversed ten thousand miles with just one step.
The figure that drew Xu Zimo's eyes the most was a woman clad in white robes.
Her eyebrows held a touch of bold heroism. A veil concealed everything beneath her eyes, but her stunning beauty still shone through vividly.
In her grasp was an ice-blue longsword. The blade exuded a fearsome aura. Even without infusing it with power, it released chilling frost qi that froze the space around it.
The sword radiated intense cold, yet the woman herself was icier still.
She lifted the sword skyward with both hands. A brilliant ray of icy light burst from the blade straight into the heavens. Right away, crisp cracking noises resounded across the void.
Snowflakes truly started drifting down from the sky.
Such a powerful weapon was undoubtedly far from ordinary.
Wang Ya exclaimed in shock next to him. “That’s the Innate Absolute Zero Sword from the Ice lineage. This blade is the sacred treasure of their whole lineage. That woman has to be the Ice lineage’s saintess, Zhao Qiuyi.”
“You’ve never seen her before?” Xu Zimo inquired.
Wang Ya identified her solely from the sword, proving the Innate Absolute Zero Sword's fame surpassed even Zhao Qiuyi herself.
“I’ve stayed in Broken Wolf Valley for years, so I rarely encounter outsiders,” Wang Ya replied. “They say Zhao Qiuyi seldom emerges from seclusion. Catching a glimpse of her is quite rare.”
Boundless frost surged forth like a raging flood, encasing all in ice, while countless snowflakes filled the air. A vast, imposing path of ice and snow stretched across the heavens and earth.
The peach tree’s roots got frozen solid, drastically reducing its pace.
“Intriguing, but little girl, you can’t unleash this sword’s full might. You won’t hold me,” the peach tree declared, thrashing wildly and shattering the void outright.
It roared with laughter, adding, “Summon your ancestor. If they swung this sword, it might actually pose a threat.”
“Damn that peach tree, it’s far too cocky,” a disciple fumed in rage.
Still, no one could act against it. The peach tree's tongue was sharp, but its power was real.
Right when all believed the peach tree would break free once more, an ancient blade intent plummeted from above.
The whole peach tree froze completely.
For even prior to the blade aura striking, many felt icy prickles along their spines, like needles stabbing in. It seemed that slash targeted them personally, as if their necks were already sliced clean.
“Take one more step, and you’ll be bisected.”
