I Only Wanted A Class In The Apocalypse Chapter 1975: It’s Time to Go for the Outer Battlefield

The spoils were magnificent, and old Gan was utterly astounded that Hye had achieved the unthinkable by delivering ample samples for a thorough study of the weapon.
Besides all that, Hye had already handed over vast quantities of the God ore he seized from the Hescos’ homeworld, along with the enhanced explosives crafted from that extremely unstable and lethal ore.
Hye had commissioned the Grand Elder to produce these bombs, expecting to deploy them during the final push. Fortunately, events unfolded far more smoothly than he had ever anticipated. As a result, he accumulated a surplus of these devastating bombs and chose to let the elder unleash his expertise to reverse-engineer them.
Next, Hye endured the exhausting ordeal of bargaining with Moth. With the war concluded, Moth dug in his heels stubbornly, insisting that Hye had claimed the lion’s share of the major rewards for himself.
Hye responded brazenly, declaring outright that whatever he took couldn’t compare to the immense cost he bore in rescuing their empire and race. Furthermore, he dispatched numerous records capturing the war’s final chaotic moments, revealing how Hescos-aligned forces swarmed in to plunder most of the ships and debris.
He relentlessly drove home the point of how he had preserved their empire and race—a value beyond any measure of gold.
Moth followed these tactics on the explicit orders of the Grand Elder, something Hye detected right from the first message. The pair traded barbs for a full month until Hye grasped that both the Hescos and Toranks had remained completely silent about the whole affair.
The moment Hye suggested leaking the story, sharing his recordings, and broadcasting them across the universe, the Grand Elder’s resolve finally shattered.
From the outset, the Grand Elder had intended to reward Hye handsomely for his feats. Still, he sought to impart a harsh lesson to the young man: never tangle with the Hescos again. In the end, though, the elder’s plan backfired, as he discovered that negotiating with Hye proved even more grueling than with the Toranks.
Hye channeled every resource he obtained into fortifying his burgeoning kingdom and armies. He placed full trust in Isac and Karoline to manage it all. Then, he spearheaded Legend, Lily, Olana, alongside countless other generals and a splendid army, toward the coordinates supplied by the Hescos.
"I see you brought good forces with you," Moth remarked as he awaited Hye’s arrival at the rendezvous spot. This site lay deep in the universe’s eastern frontiers, demanding a two-week trek for Hye and his forces—even with the Hescos charting the quickest path and issuing clear directives for priority clearance upon arrival.
"Not even close to what you brought with you," Hye swept his gaze around. He had just stepped aboard Moth’s enormous flagship. From its vantage, he beheld the full might of the Hescos fleet Moth had assembled. Where Hye commanded roughly thirty generals and their fleets, Moth fielded at least ten times as many.
"Ah, it’s just for the lots of bases we have at the Outer Battlefield," Moth chuckled, but his mask and suit left Hye clueless about his true sentiments.
Deep down, Hye dismissed such excuses. In his mind, venturing to the Outer Battlefield was no tougher than routine cosmic travel—simply longer. He never bought that the Hescos needed an Elder’s direct involvement to rush reinforcements to that lawless realm.
"The way to the Outer Battlefield isn’t like how you imagine," Moth caught the skepticism on Hye’s face and began to elucidate slowly, "the two universes have been at war for a long time, but that doesn’t mean we are close to each other. In fact, some believe the distance between the two of us is equal to or even more than one universe apart."
"This..." Hye was shocked upon hearing this, "Aren’t we going to enter it the moment we leave here?!" Bewilderment gripped him, but Moth patiently clarified.
"It’s indeed a long distance travel, but that doesn’t mean we are going to walk through a huge space to reach there," Moth paused, before adding, "consider it walking through a black hole, where there is only one safe path that keeps twisting all the time. Around us, there is a thick veil of deadly space clouds, with lots of dangers and unexplored areas that are quite deadly to any force from both universes."
Moth went on to detail the perilous route to the Outer Battlefield for Hye, demolishing every preconception the latter held about getting there.
Hye had previously assumed they merely needed an extended voyage to arrive at the Outer Battlefield. Yet the reality was a far more treacherous and unsafe expedition.
The entire stretch brimmed with fragments of colossal celestial bodies—be they ruined solar systems or tiny galaxies—creating a raging colossal tempest of dust, gas, and ferocious monsters and beasts that prowled the narrow pathway.
Hye stood speechless upon hearing everything. From the earlier tide and the nonstop pursuits by fleets from other universes at this one's border, he'd believed the journey would be the simplest phase of the adventure.
"Just make sure to follow my lead," Moth patted Hye’s shoulder before adding, "We’ve journeyed through this passage for aeons, knowing it like the back of our hands. Stay close and don’t stray from us."
"Cool," Hye nodded, aware of the perils awaiting if he didn’t stay glued to Moth’s side, "what about our destination? Is it just as hazardous?"
"We’ll arrive at the grand gathering spot of our universe," Moth explained,
