I Arrived At Wizard World While Cultivating Immortality Chapter 813: The Sacred Relic
Every collision among the three was enough to shatter great expanses of space.
While the three of them fought, the two eighth-level existences were both closing in on Jie Ming, yet there was not half a scrap of trust between them either, and now and then they even took shots at each other.
The two of them kept calling out things like “kill the Apostle of the End first,” or “do not let him recover.”
But the moment either caught an opening, he would attack the “teammate” on the other side without hesitation.
Their mouths were full of righteous declarations, and yet each was more practiced at the underhanded blow than the other.
Handling the two of them at once, Jie Ming found himself rather lost for words. “These two… what a plastic alliance.”
He could even feel clearly that the two men’s assault on him was growing slacker and slacker.
The engagement was gradually turning from two-on-one into a three-way brawl.
But it was fortunate that it did, because the pressure on Jie Ming fell rapidly.
The three of them fought faster and faster, and everyone else could only fall back into the distance. No one dared step in.
And so the whole battlefield had strangely become an arena for the three of them.
The deadlock among the three held for a long time.
At last, on one particular exchange, the tripe-creature abruptly released an enormous blood-colored edge of light.
The blood-colored light drew a great arc that seemed to be aimed at Jie Ming, only to deflect faintly at the last moment and rush toward the silver-armored creature.
And the silver-armored creature was long since familiar with attacks of that kind. Without hesitation, even while attacking Jie Ming, it used its war armor to knock most of the force aside.
Boom!
The blood-colored light grazed past the silver armor and flew off into the distance.
But the silver-armored creature’s expression changed. “Not good!”
Because after it had blocked most of the force, the residual wave of that blood-colored light was rushing straight for the snail captain!
The snail captain changed color and tried to evade, but that “residual wave” tracked his movement as though it had eyes.
Although to the three on the field this blood-colored light counted as no more than a residual wave, to the creatures around them it was a lethal thing.
The “residual wave” tore apart the layer upon layer of defenses the snail captain had laid down with ease.
And the fully sealed cargo hold, which the snail captain had bound tight with dozens of tentacles and protected with a steady secretion of slime, had a huge rent torn open in it on the spot!
In that instant, everyone present could feel a strange fluctuation issuing from the breach in the hold.
“Hahahahahaha!!!” The tripe-creature suddenly burst into wild laughter. “You are all dead!”
“Bastard!” The silver-armored creature’s face changed abruptly.
It had just started to do something when the tripe-creature’s power erupted, and a sky full of blood-colored force became chains that wound toward Jie Ming and the silver-armored creature at once.
Rashly taking on two opponents that way, the blood-colored chains could not hold for long, and were broken apart by the two of them in very nearly an instant.
But that one instant of delay was already enough!
Through the breach in the damaged hold, an enormous prism could be seen lying quietly within, as though cast from obsidian.
Layer upon layer of seals and wards were wound about the prism, and even with the hold breached most of the arrays still held the seal in place.
But at the very moment the tripe-creature was desperately tying the two of them up, that huge prism, which had never so much as stirred, suddenly moved!
Hmmm…
With a slight tremor, the mirrored surface slowly turned over, as though the whole of it had become a door, and as though something inside the mirror had opened that door.
The seals around it gave off light at the same time, seemingly trying to prevent all this from happening. But how could a thing outside the mirror affect what was “inside” it?
The others present did not yet know what was happening, and only saw that the prism had stirred. Jie Ming, by way of the True-False Void-Piercing Pupil, had already seen something far more essential.
In Jie Ming’s field of vision, as the mirrored surface turned slowly, a fissure with no color to it at all, pure nothingness, opened slowly out of the depths of the mirror.
“That is…” At the sight, Jie Ming’s expression shifted slightly.
In his field of vision, that was not a mirror at all. It was a door!
A door connecting to another dimension!
As the mirror finished turning, a Reflection Dimension passage too vast to describe was opened.
In the instant the passage opened, the two dimensions came into contact.
And so the “dimensional differential” was produced.
Ssh…
Amid a sound that was very nearly no sound at all, the bodies of the several Multiracial Alliance members nearest the passage began vanishing without warning.
Each of them was as though wiped out by an eraser, erased utterly from this world from their most basic structure of matter and particles.
Several other, higher-level Multiracial Alliance members noticed what was happening, and their expressions turned at once to terror as they instinctively tried to flee.
“Quick…”
But the voice had barely sounded before it cut off.
Dozens of seventh-level creatures, under the erasure of the Reflection Dimension passage, left not so much as a scrap of remains.
That Multiracial Alliance squad vanished completely in a single instant.
At the sight, the silver-armored creature’s pupils shook violently and its aura began to heave:
“Madman, you madman! You actually dared open the passage!”
“Hahahahahaha!!!” The tripe-creature only laughed more wildly still.
But before it could grow any more pleased with itself, Jie Ming and the silver-armored creature joined forces to attack and blasted it viciously away.
It spat out a great mouthful of blood, and even so the smugness on its face did not fade:
“Stop struggling. The sacred relic has awakened. Not one of you leaves today!”
The words were not yet out when the black prism came drifting over.
In the instant the dimensional passage had opened, every seal binding it had been annihilated, and the tripe-creature had only to beckon to have that huge Reflection Prism in its grip.
The silver-armored creature and Jie Ming had no intention of watching it work, and had already joined forces to attack again.
But it was somewhat too late. Having seized the mirror, the tripe-creature turned the mirrored surface on the two of them without hesitation.
Jie Ming could see clearly that the black mirrored surface had already begun to turn again.
At the sight, the silver-armored creature’s expression turned ugly and it moved to evade.
“Die!”
Laughing wildly, the tripe-creature drove the sacred relic.
Boom!
The dimensional passage opened once more, and the terrible dimensional differential swept out again.
The silver-armored creature, trying to evade, let out a roar of unwillingness, the power throughout its body burning wildly.
Yet everything it did was meaningless.
The dimensional differential swept past, and its body vanished in an instant, flesh and soul alike erased utterly!
“No!!!”
The roar cut off abruptly. A dignified eighth-level existence, annihilated completely in a moment.
Seeing this, the tripe-creature showed no trace of amusement. Quite the opposite: the smile on its face stiffened despite itself.
Because beside it, Jie Ming’s Dharma Form still stood, apparently without the slightest damage.
The tripe-creature’s eyes went wide. “How is that possible?!!”
Even as it spoke, it instinctively drove the sacred relic again.
But the result was the same.
Even with no protection of any kind, Jie Ming’s Dharma Form still took no injury whatsoever.
Jie Ming looked down at his own Dharma Form, then turned to look back at the other, blinked, and shrugged with a touch of regret:
“Sorry. That thing… does not work on me.”
