His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 937

"Ma’am, please take deep breaths... and please try to push," the midwife spoke carefully to Bella, keeping her voice calm and encouraging.
Bella lay on the hospital bed inside the private delivery room, her entire face covered in sweat.
Her hair had become messy.
Several strands had fallen loose and were sticking to her damp forehead and cheeks. Her breathing was uneven and her fingers were tightly curled around the bedsheet as another painful contraction moved through her body.
She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to follow the midwife’s instructions.
"Deep breaths... that’s it. Slowly..."
Bella inhaled deeply through her nose, trying to control her breathing.
For a few seconds, she managed to follow the rhythm.
Then the pain suddenly became stronger.
Her eyebrows pulled together, her lips trembled and her entire expression changed.
"Ahh..." A small cry escaped her lips.
The midwife immediately leaned closer.
"That’s okay, ma’am. You’re doing very well. Just keep breathing. Don’t hold your breath for too long."
Bella shook her head slightly, tears gathering in the corners of her eyes.
"It... it hurts..."
Her voice came out weak and shaky.
"I know," the midwife said gently. "I know it hurts. You’re doing very well. Just a little more."
Around the bed, the medical team continued working.
One nurse carefully monitored Bella’s blood pressure and other vital signs while another kept an eye on the monitors beside the bed.
A doctor stood near the foot of the bed, checking Bella’s progress and speaking quietly with the midwife. Another nurse prepared the necessary supplies, making sure everything the team might need was within reach.
Their voices remained calm and controlled, even though Bella was struggling through one of the most painful moments of her life.
"Her vitals are stable," one of the nurses informed the doctor.
"i see," the doctor replied.
The midwife returned her complete attention to Bella.
"Bella, listen to me. You’re doing very well. The baby is doing well too. We just need you to keep working with us, okay?"
Bella opened her wet eyes slightly.
"My babby..."
"Yes," the doctor reassured her. "Everything looks good. Your little one is almost here."
Bella’s lips parted as she tried to take another breath.
Almost here.
The words should have made her happy...and they did.
Somewhere this fear and pain, an overwhelming happiness was slowly growing inside her.
She had imagined this moment so many times.
She had imagined holding her baby for the first time.
She had imagined looking down at that tiny face and wondering whose features the baby had inherited.
She had imagined Leo’s expression when he finally saw their child.
She could almost picture him standing beside her, probably trying to look calm while secretly worrying about everything.
A tiny, almost tearful smile appeared on Bella’s lips.
But the next contraction arrived before she could hold onto the thought.
Her smile disappeared immediately.
"Ahhh!"
Bella cried out and gripped the bedsheet harder.
The nurse beside her immediately placed a reassuring hand near her shoulder.
"That’s it. Let it out. You’re okay."
Bella’s breathing became faster.
Her whole body tensed.
"Deep breath, Bella," the midwife instructed. "Deep breath."
Bella inhaled shakily.
"Good good very good! Now push."
Bella tried.
She pushed with everything she had.
Her face became flushed, tears slipped down her cheeks and her entire body trembled from the effort.
"That’s it," the midwife encouraged. "Very good. Keep going."
Bella squeezed her eyes shut.
She tried again, as the pain was overwhelming.
She wanted to cry and complain...She wanted Leo....More than anything, she wanted Leo beside her.
Her fingers tightened around the sheet again.
"Leo..."
The name slipped from her lips so softly that it almost disappeared beneath the sound of the machines.
The midwife heard her.
"He’s right outside," she assured her. "You’re not alone."
Bella’s eyes opened slightly.
"Outside..."
"Yes. He’s waiting for you and baby."
Her lower lip trembled. She nodded faintly.
That tiny piece of reassurance gave her another bit of courage.
The midwife smiled gently.
"That’s it. Think about him. Think about your baby. You’re almost there."
Another nurse checked the monitor before looking toward the doctor. "Everything is progressing."
The doctor nodded.
"Good. Keep encouraging her."
Bella took another deep breath.
She could feel another contraction building.
Her face immediately tightened. "No..."
The word came out almost like a plea.
"I know," the midwife said softly. "It’s another one. We’re right here with you."
Bella shook her head, tears spilling freely now. "I can’t..."
"You can."
"I can’t..."
"You can, Bella!."
The midwife gently squeezed her hand.
"You’ve come this far. Now give us one more good push."
Bella stared at her through tear-filled eyes, she looked completely exhausted.
she nodded.
She was going to do it.for her baby and Leo.
The contraction reached its peak.
"Okay, Bella," the midwife said. "Deep breath."
Bella inhaled deeply.
"Hold it..."
Bella followed the instruction.
"Now push!"
Bella pushed.
A strained cry escaped her lips as she used every bit of strength she had left.
"That’s it!"
"Very good!"
"Keep going!"
The nurses encouraged her from around the bed while the doctor carefully monitored the baby’s progress.
Bella’s fingers trembled against the sheet.
Her eyes were squeezed shut and tears continued sliding down her cheeks.
"Come on, ma’am," the midwife encouraged softly. "You’re doing beautifully. One more time. Take a deep breath and push."
Bella tried again.
This time, the effort made her whole body tremble.
Her face turned red from the strain.
Her breathing broke into several shaky sounds.
Then she suddenly cried out louder. "Ahhh!"
The midwife immediately looked toward the doctor.
The doctor’s expression changed slightly.
"Good," the doctor said calmly. "We’re getting very close."
Bella opened her eyes.
"Really?"
Her voice was barely audible.
"Yes," the midwife told her. "Very close."
Bella stared at her in disbelief and her eyes filled with fresh tears.
But before she could say anything, another contraction began.
Her expression immediately changed.
"Oh..."
She grabbed the sheet again.
The midwife leaned closer.
"That’s it. Stay with me, Bella."
The doctor and nurses moved into position, each person focused on their part of the delivery.
"Deep breath."
Bella inhaled.
"Good."
"Now push."
Bella pushed again.
Her face tightened as she gave everything she had.
The room filled with calm instructions, the quiet beeping of the monitors, and the encouraging voices of the medical team.
"That’s it."
"Good job."
"Keep going."
"You’re almost there."
Bella could barely hear anything anymore.
Everything around her had become a blur.
Her breathing was shaky, her entire face covered in sweat and her fingers were still tightly gripping the bedsheet as she gave one final push with all the strength she had left.
For a moment, there was complete silence.
Then suddenly...
A baby’s cry rang out through the delivery room.
