His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker. Chapter 901 I don’t like him
Previously on His innocent wife is a dangerous hacker....
At 7:24 in the evening, Bella was sitting comfortably on the floor beside Eli, her laptop open in front of her as she worked through a few things while keeping half an eye on him. Eli was sprawled over a large sheet of paper, completely absorbed in coloring a flower. He had somehow managed to color the petals three different shades even though Bella had gently explained that flowers usually didn’t need quite so many colors.
"Beautiful!" Eli suddenly called, his voice full of excitement.
Bella glanced at him. "Hmm?"
"Look, Beautiful! Today teacher asked us to write essay!" he announced quickly, standing up and pulling out his notebook from the bag. He scrambled toward her with his notebook in both hands, his small feet padding against the floor as he hurried over, nearly tripping over his own excitement.
Bella smiled and closed her laptop slightly. "Okay, show me."
Eli proudly opened the page and placed it in front of her, his little chest puffed out with pride.
Bella’s eyes moved over the heading.
My Parents.
Her expression softened.
She began reading.
At first, she smiled at the innocent way Eli had written everything, his handwriting uneven and some of the letters much larger than others. Some words were spelled phonetically and a few sentences trailed off into scribbles when he had apparently gotten tired of writing.
Then her eyes stopped.
I have two Mumma and two Dad.
Bella blinked.
For a moment, she simply stared at the sentence.
Her heart seemed to pause.
She knew Eli thought about his biological mother as his Mumma. She had never expected him to replace that place in his heart, nor had she ever wanted him to. His mother had loved him, protected him and raised him until she was no longer able to be there. Bella had always believed that love wasn’t something that needed to be erased simply because another person entered a child’s life.
But seeing herself included in those words...
Mumma.
Her eyes immediately became glossy.
She slowly continued reading.
Eli had written about his first Mumma, describing her as the person who used to take care of him, hug him when he was scared, and make his favorite food. His spelling was imperfect, the sentences sometimes wandered in strange directions but every line carried the simple affection of a child remembering someone he loved.
Then came the second Mumma.
Bella’s lips trembled.
She pressed her fingertips gently against the page.
"Eli..."
The little boy looked at her proudly. "Good essay?"
Bella couldn’t answer immediately.
She swallowed and continued reading.
Then he had written about Leo.
A tiny laugh escaped Bella through her tears.
Of course he had written that.
She could almost imagine Eli sitting at his little desk, thinking very seriously about how to describe Leo, his small brow furrowed in concentration as he tried to find the right words.
But then Bella reached the final part.
Her smile disappeared.
Eli had written about his biological father.
There were only a few words.
Bella’s heart tightened painfully.
She knew why.
She knew enough of Eli’s history to understand that those words weren’t childish dislike. They carried memories he probably couldn’t fully explain yet. His mother had spent years protecting him from an abusive father, and even at his young age, Eli remembered enough to know that the man had made him afraid.
Bella slowly closed the notebook.
She looked at Eli.
He was still watching her, waiting for her reaction. His dark eyes were wide and hopeful, searching her face for approval.
Without saying anything, Bella pulled him into her arms.
Eli made a tiny surprised sound.
"Beautiful?"
Bella hugged him tighter, pressing her cheek against his soft hair. She could feel his small body against hers, warm and super soft.
Eli blinked, confused by the sudden affection. "Why are you hugging me?"
Bella closed her eyes.
Because she had just realized something she hadn’t dared to hope for.
Eli hadn’t forgotten his first mother. He hadn’t replaced her.
He had simply made space for another person to love.
And somehow, that little boy had given Bella a place in his heart without anyone asking him to. He had chosen to include her, to call her Mumma, to write about her as if she had always been there.
Her arms tightened around him.
"I’m just happy you’re here," she whispered.
Eli thought about that for a moment.
Then he wrapped his tiny arms around her neck.
"I’m happy too."
Bella smiled through her tears and kissed the top of his head.
"My sweet boy..."
Eli immediately corrected her. "Big boy."
Bella laughed softly against his hair. "Of course. My big boy."
Eli seemed satisfied.
Then he gently patted her cheek. "Don’t cry, Beautiful."
Bella looked at him with watery eyes. "I’m not crying."
"You are. I saw with my own eyes, Beautiful."
"Maybe a little," Bella admitted.
Eli wiped her cheek with his tiny finger. "Don’t cry. I love you."
Bella’s heart melted completely.
She hugged him again, holding him close, feeling the warmth of his small body against hers.

Meanwhile, Leo, Jay, and Jace had been standing quietly near the doorway for a while, watching the little scene without interrupting them. Bella was still sitting on the floor with Eli tucked comfortably against her and the sight seemed to say more than any conversation could. Jay and Jace exchanged a knowing smile, both of them clearly touched by how naturally the two had grown attached to each other.
Leo simply stood a little apart from them, his arms folded across his chest as he leaned against the wall. His expression remained calm but there was a quiet gentleness in his eyes as he watched Bella run her fingers through Eli’s hair while the little boy happily stayed in her arms.
