Bella has been taken by Clara, and the tracking signal has been erased. Jace works to find her location, while Leo fears Clara might be a spy working with Pablo. Jay struggles to accept that Clara, their family member, could be responsible.

Meanwhile, Leo stood in the shadow of an old dark warehouse, hiding perfectly, his gray eyes fixed on the old building ahead.

The structure was weathered and abandoned, its windows dark, its walls stained with years of neglect. Graffiti covered the brick in faded layers and the roof sagged in places, as if the building itself was tired of standing but Leo knew better than to trust appearances.

His men moved around him in complete silence, their footsteps barely audible against the gravel. Weapons glinted in the dim light, their faces hidden behind dark caps and masks.

Leo’s jaw tightened as he studied the building. He had already made his plans, gathered his resources and prepared for every possible outcome.

But this wasn’t just a rescue mission anymore. This was a confrontation.

The sick bastard had been pulling strings from the shadows for years, and now he had finally shown his hand.

Leo’s gray eyes flashed with cold anger.

He didn’t know exactly what Pablo was planning by kidnapping Bella. But it didn’t matter. Whatever it was, it would end tonight.

Because he had enough of the mouse and cat hide and seek with him. He was done waiting. Done watching. Done playing by anyone’s rules but his own.

He raised his hand, signaling his men to move into position.

As expected, the building was crawling with hidden guards. Leo spotted them through his scope—figures stationed at every entrance, every window, every possible vantage point. They were armed, alert, waiting. Their postures were rigid, their eyes scanning the darkness.

But Leo had come prepared.

He had brought his full force. His men were heavily armed, trained for this exact kind of operation. And Leo himself had brought something extra...his latest devastating weapons that left no survivors.

"Move in," he ordered, his voice low and cold.

His men scattered, moving like shadows through the darkness. They disappeared into the night, their forms blending with the blackness, their footsteps silent.

Leo walked forward, his steps steady, his eyes fixed on the entrance.

Leo’s hand tightened around the weapon at his side.

He stepped through the entrance, the darkness swallowing him whole. His men followed close behind.

The first guard didn’t even see him coming.

Leo moved like a ghost, striking fast and silent. His blade found the man’s throat before he could make a sound. The body hit the floor with a soft thud and Leo kept moving.

The second guard fell just as quickly. Leo’s fist connected with his jaw, and the man crumpled like paper. The third guard barely had time to turn before Leo’s elbow drove into his temple, sending him crashing to the ground.

Leo moved through the darkness like a phantom, his blade finding throats and his fists finding skulls with brutal efficiency. Each body hit the floor with a soft thud, barely audible.

But the silence didn’t last.

A gunshot rang out sharply, deafening, shattering the stillness like a hammer through glass.

Leo’s eyes snapped toward the source. A guard on the upper level had spotted them. The man was already reaching for his radio, his mouth opening to shout a warning.

Leo raised his weapon and fired.

The guard fell backward, his body tumbling over the railing and crashing to the floor below but the damage was done. Alarms blared through the building. Red lights began to flash, casting the corridor in an eerie, pulsing glow. The sound of boots echoed from every direction, pounding against concrete, growing louder and closer.

Pablo’s men were coming.

Leo’s jaw tightened. His gray eyes, usually cold and calculating, began to shift. The adrenaline was taking over. His pupils dilated, and his body went into fight mode. His senses sharpened, his breathing deepened, his muscles coiled like springs.

He had been prepared for this.

"Move!" he shouted.

His men surged forward, weapons raised, forming a protective circle around him as they advanced deeper into the building.

The first wave of Pablo’s guards burst through the doors at the end of the corridor.

Gunfire erupted.

The sound was deafening, a relentless barrage of bullets, ricocheting off walls shattering glass, tearing through the air. Leo’s men returned fire, their movements precise, their aim deadly.

But Pablo had prepared for this too.

His guards were well-armed, well-trained and clearly willing to die for their cause. They poured into the corridor from every side, their faces twisted with rage and determination.

Leo’s eyes became bloodshot.

The red lights painted his face in crimson shadows, reflecting off his dilated pupils. His expression was no longer cold, it was red with killing intent. His features were sharp, predatory, almost animalistic.

He raised his weapon and fired.

The first guard dropped. The second. The third. Each shot was precise, each bullet finding its mark. But there were too many.

"Where is she?!" he shouted, his voice hoarse and raw. "Where is Bella?!"

No one answered. The guards kept coming.

Leo’s men fought alongside him, their formation holding steady, but the numbers were overwhelming. For every guard they took down, two more seemed to appear.

Leo’s vision blurred with anger. His heart pounded in his chest, a wild, furious rhythm that drowned out the gunfire.

He had to find her!! He had to get to her before it was too late...

A guard lunged at him from the side, a knife glinting in his hand. Leo spun, catching the man’s wrist, twisting until the blade clattered to the floor. He drove his knee into the guard’s stomach, then slammed his fist into the man’s face.

The guard crumpled.

Leo stepped over him and kept moving.

His men followed, their weapons blazing, their faces grim. The corridor was littered with bodies, the air thick with smoke and the metallic scent of blood.

Leo’s men were holding their ground but the large number of Pablo’s guards was overwhelming. They kept coming, wave after wave.

And Leo’s men soon began to lose.

The corridor had become a battlefield. Bodies lay scattered across the floor. Some were motionless. Others groaned in pain. The air was thick with smoke and the acrid smell of gunpowder.

Leo’s men were fighting with everything they had but Pablo’s guards kept coming. Wave after wave.

Leo’s jaw tightened as he watched one of his men stumble, a bullet grazing his arm. Another fell to his knees, clutching his side. The formation was beginning to crack.

His gray eyes flashed.

He could not afford to fight blindly anymore. He could not afford to let his emotions control him. If he wanted to save Bella, he had to think. He had to outsmart them.
