Xia Qingqian, believed to be a victim of a plane crash, is found alive by Ye Feng at the airport. She is hesitant to return, believing the Young Master doesn't want to see her, but Ye Feng assures her the Young Master personally searched for her at the crash site. She realizes Ye Chenfeng's earlier actions may have indirectly saved her. Ye Feng convinces her to return to the villa.

While this was happening, Ye Feng’s phone rang. He briefly observed Xia Qingqian before responding, "Young Master, Miss Xia is safe. I have located her."

"Bring her back to see me immediately," a deep, urgent voice, carrying a discernible excitement, commanded from Beitang Yao over the line.

"Young Master, we are en route back and will arrive shortly," Ye Feng conveyed into the receiver.

After concluding the call, Ye Feng glanced at Xia Qingqian, seated in the rear, through the rearview mirror. "Miss Xia," he spoke gently, "that was the Young Master. We will be seeing him very soon."

Xia Qingqian remained unsettled, the impending reunion with Beitang Yao stirring a profound, almost overwhelming joy within her heart. The intensity of the emotion was immense.

She likened the feeling to that of a cherished toy, once discarded, now returned to its owner's embrace—a sensation steeped in complexity.

"Oh, okay," she murmured faintly. After a significant pause, she added, "Housekeeper Ye, I apologize for causing you all such worry."

Ye Feng offered a smile, navigating the vehicle with care. "Miss Xia, it is a true blessing you are alive. You have wronged no one; rather, the fault lies with me for booking you on that flight."

"Housekeeper Ye, I did not intentionally miss the plane. I was delayed just before takeoff, which prevented me from re-boarding," Xia Qingqian explained, her fingers unconsciously clenching the fabric of her dress.

"Incidentally, Miss Xia, where did you go in those crucial three minutes before takeoff? I saw you board with my own eyes, yet you were not on the plane. How is that possible?" It was only now he had the mental space to inquire about the peculiar circumstances; the preceding events had been too harrowing to process fully.

Xia Qingqian flicked a glance at Ye Feng, her gaze then drifting out the window, watching the receding landscape. A sudden apprehension seized her. Should she reveal that she had met Ye Chenfeng just before boarding?

"Miss Xia, is something troubling you?" Ye Feng inquired, observing her pensive stare out the window via the rearview mirror.

Xia Qingqian started slightly, her eyelids fluttering. Regaining her composure, she replied, "Housekeeper Ye, I did board the plane. However, with three minutes left until takeoff, a man insisted I disembark to resolve some matters with him, so I complied." She had never conceived that the aircraft she left behind would meet with disaster.

The realization was profoundly shocking! Had she remained aboard, she might have been among the casualties.

"Miss Xia, it is fortunate you did not board the plane. If anything had happened to you, the Young Master would have been inconsolable," Ye Feng said, exhaling a breath of relief as he looked at her in the mirror. "I imagine you have much to discuss with the Young Master."

Ye Feng’s attention returned to the road ahead, a silent acknowledgment within his heart that the connection between the Young Master and Miss Xia was indeed inscrutable, beyond the easy comprehension of outsiders.

As the Young Master himself had stated, the affairs between him and Xia Qingqian required no external intervention! He was in no position to interfere.

Parking the car, Ye Feng exited and proceeded to open Xia Qingqian’s door. "Miss Xia, the Young Master awaits you in the living room."

Xia Qingqian alighted somewhat uncertainly, pausing for a moment before following Ye Feng back into the residence.

Her eyes fixed dazedly on the slowly opening door ahead, she felt her breath catch, an insistent struggle to draw air into her lungs.
