In the empty hallways, Zeke ripped Alicia's clothes off, consumed by his aching longing for her. They shed their garments swiftly, caressing each other's bodies amid mounting desire. Pinned against a pillar, they joined in fervent passion, climaxing intensely multiple times in shattering ecstasy.
After yet another fervent bout of lovemaking, Zeke at last drew himself away from her. Far from being fully satisfied, he began sensing the pressing necessity to confront the weightier concerns. Prolonging the delay was no longer advisable. Those earlier sessions they shared should suffice to hold them over until the critical affairs were resolved.

Thus, he led Alicia to his chamber and immersed her in the bathtub alongside himself. He had employed his demonic powers to dampen this realm's influence on her urges.

As a newcomer here, and not a demon besides, she remained utterly vulnerable to this world's hazardous temptations. Without his protective ward, its effects would gradually overwhelm her.

Once she had settled, Zeke promptly began interrogating Alicia. Though he yearned to simply cradle her and bask in her nearness, he recognized the urgency of handling her unexpected arrival in this realm. What had occurred defied all logic. Lacking demonic abilities or any demonic heritage, her entry into the Underworld was utterly impossible.

Having heard Alicia's full account - of Sebastian and Zeres casting the spell that wrenched open hell's gates, and her unintended involvement - Zeke felt a mix of relief and astonishment.

Relief washed over him that no one had deliberately pulled her into this realm, as he had first feared, and that her plunge here was pure mishap. He was grateful too that Alicia had prevented Sebastian from being drawn in as well.

Upon discovering the Underworld's myriad dark secrets, Zeke had been thankful for keeping Sebastian away from this place. He knew his brother's nature all too well. From everything he'd uncovered about this domain, Zeke knew that if Sebastian had tumbled here instead, he would... unleash his restraints and devolve into an utter beast. Crossing that threshold would render him beyond salvation. Such a fate was the last thing Zeke desired for his sibling.

"Have you been… keeping well here, Ezekiel?" Alicia inquired, settling astride his lap, her slender fingers tracing his striking features. The soft caresses sparked delightful shivers from his face, trailing down his neck and igniting his loins.

Savoring their tender couple's closeness, Zeke captured her hands and pressed them against his cheeks.

"Fighting everyday is… easy. Honestly, there are times I find myself enjoying it a little too much. I just sometimes fear that I might end up being someone unrecognizable once I return to you and our… child." He answered candidly. He acknowledged it as truth. Even moments ago, right before Alicia materialized, a fog had been descending over him. Life had blurred into an endless cycle of emotionless clashes, battles, and protracted warfare. Alicia's timely arrival had been a godsend, snapping him from that numb haze where feelings would have surely faded with time in this abyss.

A quiet interlude passed between them, their gazes locked intently. Each lost in private reflections, until Alicia bestowed a tender smile upon her husband.

"He's a boy." Alicia whispered gently, her eyes misting with feeling. "I named him… Azriel. His nickname is Azy. He is an exceptional and loving six year old, Ezekiel." Her voice brimmed with adoration and pride for the son born of their union.

Zeke's hands trembled slightly as he wrestled his surging emotions. "You chose a cool name. Nothing less than what I had expected of you, my wife."

A warm, heartfelt smile curved Alicia's lips. "He's a sweet boy. He's like a mini you, really. Everytime I look at him, I see you in him. And he's been what's keeping me sane and alive since you left. I am… I am so beyond happy and thankful that I have Azy, Ezekiel. I couldn't imagine my life without him while you're gone."

He drew her close into his arms, nestling his face in her tresses. "I'm… happy to know that… Alicia." His pulse quickened as visions of their son, bearing their shared traits, filled his mind. No matter his appearance, Zeke was certain their child would be nothing short of remarkable. How could offspring of him and Alicia be anything less than flawless?

"Azy and I are doing really fine with everyone being supportive of us. Alexander and Abi's twins are now like his older siblings… he's an intelligent and lovely child. He told me that he will be waiting patiently for his daddy to return to us, Ezekiel."

"Mmm…" was all he managed to say as his arms squeezed her even tighter. He struggled to contain the torrent of emotions threatening to overwhelm him, desperately longing in that instant to gaze upon and embrace his son.

His powerful feelings washed over Alicia, piercing her heart with pain. Yet she viewed her husband as the mightiest man in existence.

After holding him tightly for what felt like forever, Alicia questioned him about his experiences in this realm.

Zeke shared everything without delay, revealing precisely what she yearned to hear. Each revelation sent her heart pounding wildly, even as his recounting flowed with such casual ease, as if those perilous events had never touched him personally. Deep down, though, she understood it must have been anything but simple for him.
