While fighting monsters and contemplating new skills, the protagonist and their companions are suddenly frozen by an unknown powerful entity. After breaking free, they flee from this entity and hordes of monsters, with the protagonist's skills and mana reserves being severely depleted by the pursuit. Just as the entity closes in, the protagonist manages to repel it with a desperate attack, forcing the powerful being to retreat.
