Tatyana absorbed parts of the Abyssal Human, but its consciousness awakened, leading to a grueling battle. Many fighters were exhausted and retreated, while others pushed their limits. Yasenia unleashed a powerful technique, 'Celestial Convergence: Empyrean Day And Night,' transforming the battlefield and unleashing a devastating assault that severely wounded the Abyssal Human, culminating in its near destruction by a simulated Sun.

The noisy battlefield fell into a long silence. Yasenia’s body, having used her absolute everything, trump cards included, fell down limply. The armor covering her body melted into her body as well, showing the disastrous state of the dragon woman.

Her skin was cracked like glass struck with a hammer, blood coloring her white skin a tragic crimson. Her long black hair stickily stuck to her body and face, and her body twitched in pain from the effort.

Draheart and the battleflag bounced on the ground after Yasenia fell, both treasures floating up and staying around Yasenia. Draheart glanced at the battle flag with a touch of surprise. ’Is this one finally coming to its senses?’

Soluna, Dramel, and Draheart, the three of them, transformed into their humanoid forms, appeared, and held Yasenia’s body. Soluna spoke aloud. "No one comes close."

The girls who wanted to rush forward stopped in their tracks, creating distance at Soluna’s words. While they didn’t understand why she said so, they were not tactless enough to ignore Soluna’s words.

Soluna was probably the one who understood Yasenia’s state best, even when you included Cecile. She was her contracted spirit, at a level of both sides sharing life and death. So, even Tatyana respected Soluna’s order.

Tatyana glanced at the Abyssal Human buried in the towering pillar of Celestial Ice. "...It’s basically dead."

There was some lingering vitality, but it was at such a low level that it could be considered dead. To not have it pull something when it was at its weakest, Tatyana manipulated the formation and used Soul Verdict one last time.

This time, instead of calling Heaven to strike it, Tatyana used her own soul as a medium. The qualities of her bloodline activated, and then a soul strike merged into the Celestial Ice and struck the remaining flickering vitality of the Abyssal Human.

A low, resounding thud reached everyone’s ears, and with it, the monster died.

While Tatyana was doing that, Yasenia opened her closed eyelids and pushed her body to sit cross-legged. Then, she closed her eyes again and, placing the [Moon and Sun Swallowing Cultivating Mat] below her, she began meditating.

Soluna moved and hugged her, placing herself between the hollow of her legs and latching onto her with closed eyes. Then, she radiated her own Celestial Energy, filling Yasenia’s surroundings with her presence.

As a Celestial Spirit, even though she was a nascent one, Soluna’s presence was incredibly helpful for Yasenia. Only, she usually helped from within. Yasenia hugged Soluna closely, her concentration never breaking.

Mirrory, Valeria, and Tatyana looked at what Yasenia was doing; their eyes tried to pierce without bothering her.

Tatyana couldn’t understand. "What is she doing?"

Valeria pondered. "She is digesting the gains from the battle."

Tatyana sighed gently. "That, I know. I meant to ask about what she has gained."

Mirrory, who had the sharpest gaze of them, commented. "Her Intent Domain... is advancing rapidly."

Yasenia’s Intent Domains, both of them, soared and reached the peak of the Fourth Level in almost an instant. Then, under the stupefied gazes of the seniors, the Intent Domains broke into the fifth level and continued soaring until they reached the peak of the Fifth Level.

What was more baffling was that the comprehension didn’t seem to want to end there. However, since Yasenia was still at the fourth level of the sixth realm, which usually should’ve had her Intent Domains limited to the Fourth Level as well, the Intent Domains were unable to reach the Sixth Level.

"..."

Mirrory laughed, incredulous. "Um... How?"

Tatyana frowned, worried. "Can her body bear the burden of two peak Fifth Level Intent Domains?"

Valeria’s green slit eyes scanned Yasenia. "The burden is divided between her three human paths and her dragon core. Moreover, she is using the excessive comprehension to solidify the foundation and make them incredibly stable."

The other two noticed as well after Valeria pointed it out. Tatyana’s heart relaxed a touch, but she was still worried. "We should prohibit her from fighting until she reaches the Fifth Level."

"Agreed."

The other two nodded. They didn’t prohibit it because they feared her Intent Domains might make another breakthrough, but because they were unsure how stable it truly was. If Yasenia overexerted herself, there was a small probability of her entire body crumbling and exploding.

Mirrory squinted, her energy moving. "I wonder why this surge of comprehension happened... Huh?"

Tatyana looked over, her arms crossed. "What’s wrong?"

Mirrory laughed, incredulous. "She had a second enlightenment. It happened during her Empyrean Day and Night skill."

Tatyana blanked out and then laughed. "So, she had two enlightenments during a single battle? That’s my daughter for you, hahaha."

Valeria smiled. "It’s not impossible. Yasenia had no actual fights for a long, long time. The first enlightenment was the breakthrough to the Big Improvement realm. That was a given because all her skills were at the very edge of breaking through. She just needed that small spark to cause an inferno."

She paused and then added. "On the other hand, Yasenia has been working on how to apply Day and Night properly for the longest time, right? I guess she had an epiphany, which caused her second enlightenment."

Mirrory glanced at the Abyssal Human and approached, touching the Celestial Ice. "I think it is this. The fire and ice she used during that skill were... unique."

Tatyana agreed. "If you had to name them, they are Celestial Sun Fire and Celestial Moon Ice. It’s a variation that she never used... or didn’t know how to."

Soluna, who was snuggled in Yasenia’s arms, spoke softly. "Yasenia’s second enlightenment was exactly that."

The three seniors looked over as Soluna explained. "During the battle, Yasenia had been feeling frustrated. She could hold back the enemy, but none of her attacks managed to deal any damage to it. Therefore, she was constantly thinking of ways to use what she had to damage it."

During the fight, Yasenia noticed that her Celestial Dragon Breath had been the skill that damaged it the most. Therefore, her thoughts shifted in that direction. Eventually, Yasenia reached a conclusion.

Sun, Star, and Moon weren’t what made Celestial Energy. It was the opposite. Celestial Energy could be divided into Sun, Star, and Moon energies. Moreover, these energies didn’t need to lose Celestial Energy’s properties. After all, they derived from it.

Hence, Celestial Sun Fire was born.

Hence, Celestial Starlight was born.

Hence, Celestial Moon Ice was born.

Mirrory shook her head. "Only someone like Yasenia won’t feel happy after doing so much during the fight. Wasn’t she the very cornerstone of the entire operation? And yet, she was not satisfied? This girl... One day, that greed for more might come back to bite her."

Tatyana slapped Mirrory’s butt, creating a crisp sound. "Stop with the negative thoughts. Now it is our time to praise her, not to chew her about it."

Mirrory rubbed her backside as she looked sideways at Tatyana. "It is because of this attitude of yours that Yasenia has grown so reckless."

Tatyana squinted. "Do you think I raised my daughter wrong? Do you want to fight?"

Mirrory snorted. "You perfectly know that Yasenia is rushing ahead far too quickly. She needs to learn how to lay back and reflect."

Valeria stood between them, picking them up by the nape and lifting them up like children. "Stop, you two. Focus on Yasenia first so that nothing happens to her. You can discuss these things later."

Both women looked up at Valeria with deadpans.

"For a piece of wood, you speak grandly."

"Right, I doubt you would wake up even if a sign explicitly describing what you feel appeared in front of you."

Valeria looked at them, speechless. She didn’t know why she caught these sudden strays. The worst part was that she didn’t even understand what they were talking about. "What are you two saying?"

Tatyana and Mirrory rolled their eyes so hard they almost took off.

BOOM!

That explosive sound forced them to refocus on Yasenia. They could see energy moving through Yasenia’s torn meridians, making them frown deeply. Tatyana asked. "Soluna, is everything okay?"

"Yes. Leave us like this for a while and do what you must. Don’t worry, I am taking care of her."

The three of them nodded, trusting the Nascent Celestial Spirit. Tatyana turned around and moved toward the empty spot where she sealed the 16 guardians. Then, with a wave of her hand, the seals undid themselves and the sixteen individuals were spilled out.

The maids moved silently, surrounding them with cold looks. If it weren’t because of them, the Abyssal Human wouldn’t have come to its senses so quickly, and Yasenia wouldn’t have been endangered. So, they were all mightily pissed off.

The girls looked over, a touch of anger shimmering in their eyes. Tatyana appeared in front of them and spoke, her voice cold. "... I don’t know what you were thinking. I don’t even want to know. You eight will pay for what you’ve done, and there is only one person who can save you."

The eight guardians felt their faces grimace. They had seen the entire battle progress from within the seal. So, they knew perfectly well who that one person referred to. Murong Xianyu glanced at Tatyana for a few seconds before she opened her mouth. "... When will Madam Yasenia finish her meditation?"

Tatyana glanced at her and spoke, ignoring her words. "You were the one person I thought wouldn’t mess up. Yet, you not only didn’t try to dissuade them, but you encouraged this... asinine choice. Truly, one can’t know someone until they show you exactly what type of person they are."

Another guardian spoke, a frown on their face. "Aren’t you being far too harsh? We just wished to do our duty. A duty we’ve been preparing for tens of thousands of years."

Tatyana smiled mockingly. "Well, your tens of thousands of years are worse than our few months of preparation. What does time matter? Will an ant grow to shatter stars because it lives for a few thousand years? An ant will live for its few years of lifespan and burn away, regardless of effort. You lot are like that ant."

She didn’t even bother with them anymore, and she looked at the eight phantoms. "You eight, tell us how to deal with the Orkwa Matriarch. We will get rid of it while Yasenia is doing that."

Han Luan took a step forward, also ignoring the guardians who almost messed up everything. Among all those present, the ones who looked down on them the most were not even the girls, it was the original guardians. These eight, due to their ego, almost caused their life’s work to collapse. So, they were resentful.

"Come with us. Dealing with the Orkwa Matriarch is much easier, something even we can do as we are right now."

Tatyana nodded and, leaving behind 100 maids to guard Yasenia, they followed them.
