Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1651. Abyssal Human: Empyrean Day And Night. (End)
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
Tatyana’s figure among the lightning’s remnant storm was fuzzy, but visible. Her body had, at one point, appeared by the Abyssal Human’s side as she sank her hands inside. Then, as if her very flesh had become some kind of suctioning device, strands of the Abyssal Monster flowed into Tatyana’s body.
The Abyssal Monster would’ve reacted by thrashing violently if it were conscious. Nevertheless, the Heavenly Tribulation Lightning that hit it caused its very existence to wobble precariously.
The rest of the people didn’t move, observing everything calmly. Tatyana quickly took a step back and flashed away. Just as she did so, a massive spear of flesh pierced where Tatyana previously was.
The Abyssal Human’s inhuman voice grated on their ears. "I’ll... Kill... Everything..."
BOOM!!
Its aura skyrocketed, and Tatyana warned. "Its consciousness has finally awakened. From now on, it is a battle of attrition."
Even then, it was a step far too late. After Soul Verdict struck it, the Abyssal Human was already on a path of no return. Heavenly Chains were tying down its very soul and pulling, trying to annihilate it.
If its soul had not formerly been of a former Seventh Realm powerhouse, those chains would’ve long torn the Abyssal Human to shreds.
So, after the Abyssal Human screeched, its strength soaring to the point of matching a Half-Step Transcendence Realm cultivator, the grueling fight against it began.
Explosions rang everywhere, the intensity of the battle having reached an all-time high. The intensity was such that the Abyssal Human’s attacks, even when everyone was using their trump cards, landed even more often than when they began.
This caused strain on everyone, and after a while, the number of people inside the Abyssal Annihilation Dharma Formation had been reduced sharply. It wasn’t because something happened to them, but because they had become exhausted.
The maids were powerhouses, and at the same time, incredibly sharp. Therefore, once their strength faltered or their energy became far too low to keep up, they obediently pulled back from the battlefield without any lingering stubbornness.
Their absence would help infinitely more than staying and fighting with a tired body and mind, risking injury or even death. The fact that Yasenia almost died previously showed just how brutally strong the Abyssal Human truly was.
The number of people still fighting within the formation was around 60. Most of them were part of the long-ranged groups. Evelyn had already given her all, together with Andrea, and both were resting outside.
Kali and Cecile, while tired, were still alert and strong enough to continue participating.
Meanwhile, Yasenia and Angel were feeling as if their bodies were about to explode from strain. The techniques they were using placed an incredible burden on them, and that was causing incredible pain.
Nevertheless, neither Angel nor Yasenia showed a trace of their painfully screaming bodies on their faces. Their bodies flashed through the battlefield with overwhelming power, showing strength befitting their standing.
In the middle, the Abyssal Human, which had felt as if it possessed infinite vitality, had changed tremendously.
Its form had become distinctly humanoid. Its intelligence, due to the absolute beating it was receiving, had also settled somewhat. For instance, the mess of mouths, ears, and eyes was not sparse and purposefully scattered. The several arms it had were spread properly and used alongside fleshy weapons like pulsing swords, spears, and flails. Finally, the humanoid’s lower half was just two legs that moved agilely.
Even then, it had come back to its senses far too late. After Tatyana had activated the Soul Verdict formation, the Heavenly Tribulation Lightning that struck it caused irreparable damage.
Its strength dropped sharply, and the girls finally saw the end of its ocean-like vitality.
Wounds regenerated slowly, its reactions faltered often, and the wounds accumulated to the point that, even through its fleshy body, one could tell just how heavily injured it was.
"You... Insects... I won’t... fall!"
The sight of these Sixth Realm cultivators, who could only be considered to be in the mid-realm, beating him up was nothing less than baffling and infuriating.
One thing was being defeated by strong Seventh Realm individuals. However, these ants killing him, whom he, in the past, could’ve killed with a single glance, was unacceptable.
There were four individuals in particular who made him doubt his current strength. Even if he was injured to the point that his body barely moved, how could the armored dragon woman, the red-eyed empress, the red-haired and green-eyed formation master, and the three-meter-tall dragon woman be so powerful?
Their energy signals clearly told him that they were Fourth Level Sixth Realm cultivators, but they were fighting as if they had made some kind of evil pact to draw strength from a life-consuming berserk skill.
Even then, with his senses, he could see that the latter three were somewhat special. The red-eyed empress, the formation master, and the tall, green-skinned dragon woman had the aura of higher beings. So, he could somewhat accept it.
However, what was wrong with the armored dragon woman? That woman, forget giving the scent of a higher being; the scent coming from her was that of a ridiculously young cultivator. He doubted if that armored woman had even reached 500 years of age!
And yet, the way she fought, not falling behind the other special beings, made the Abyssal Human feel as if he was about to have some sort of mental breakdown. ’A reincarnated super-powerhouse? No, her battle style shows signs of immaturity. Someone with Heavenly aid? No, her aura clearly shows that she has severed connection with her original fate... What in the Abyss’s Twisted Existence is that monstrous woman!?’
As he was thinking, Yasenia appeared in front of him, the celestial blue slit eyes behind the helmet glowing and unblinking. Under that wide-open gaze, the Abyssal Human felt like prey. ’Ridiculous! Me, prey!? I don’t accept this!’
However, he suddenly noticed something change. An incredibly bad premonition. Everyone who was fighting him faltered for a second as they saw Yasenia’s energy churn, and then, they stopped.
’They stopped? Are they underestimating me to this degree that they think this brat can kill me!?’
Yasenia’s voice, as her Celestial Energy burned and her Black Hole Celestial Energy Star rotated faster than ever before, boomed out with an ethereal yet overwhelming strength.
"[Celestial Convergence: Empyrean Day And Night]."
The Celestial Intent Domain that had been suppressed exploded violently, taking over the space inside the Abyssal Annihilation Dharma Formation.
In an instant, the white, charred surroundings became a massively vast universe. The universe, though, was their foothold. Above him, a deep night with a gorgeous Moon shone brightly.
Yasenia then... sang.
"The cosmos in my grasp,
endless night falls.
With my celestial gown trailing with stars,
my ballad starts."
With speed that made even the Abyssal Human’s monstrous senses blare danger signals, Yasenia flashed by his side and struck with her battle flag several times in succession. Giant stars followed her attack, and, enhanced by some force, the impact was such that the Abyssal Human’s muscles tore from receiving it.
"Night in the sky,
I illuminate like the shifting moon.
My will shall apply;
tyrannical force will befall soon."
Tremendous force burst from Yasenia’s body, frost covering the entire subspace Yasenia created. As her spear swung, Yasenia twisted her Celestial Energy and changed it to use the Moon as its main source.
The Abyssal Human quickly dodged and moved, but the barrage of attacks was creating a strange frost around its limbs. Usually, ice- or moon-related attacks wouldn’t work so effectively, but clearly, the chill from Yasenia’s attack was different.
As they fought, the Abyssal Human noticed the Moon in the sky shifting, and the horizon becoming clear. ’Is the skill about to end?’
Yasenia’s voice echoed as her figure jumped up, the battle flag fluttering beautifully.
"Twilight befalls;
my nature surfaces.
With my call,
celestial strength fulfills its purposes."
The frosty celestial energy changed back to its annihilating nature, and Yasenia descended from the sky with another utterly ridiculous, swift, and devastating barrage of attacks. The twilight of the world shone within her battle-flag, constantly impacting and damaging the Abyssal Human.
The Abyssal Human felt as if his already weakened regeneration was being cut down further. ’What is happening!? What is this skill!?’
As the sky cleared and sunrise arrived, the Moon hid, and Yasenia’s speed slowed down very slightly. The Abyssal Human thought it was good news; it wasn’t.
"Abyssal monstrosity,
your existence, I will purify.
Sunlight will become
the light that will obscurify."
WHOOSH!
Blue flames filled with starlight surrounded Yasenia, transforming her into a flaming armored dragon knight. With a stomp that caused a giant tremor, Yasenia shot forward and spun the battleflag. The burning cloth created gorgeous trails as she arrived and attacked.
BOOM!!
The Abyssal Human attacked her, trying to block the attack. The collision proved that it was not the correct choice. With a celestial fire explosion, the Abyssal Human screeched in pain as its body, covered in flames, shot backward.
Yasenia pursued, and as the sun rose to the middle of the sky, her attacks only intensified. Once it became noon, Yasenia soared and raised her battle flag high.
The cloth, with celestial fire blooming at its edges, flapped rapidly as energy surged from the bottom up in a spiral.
"With the Sun as my witness,
my battle flag pierces a path.
With the Sun as your illness,
flames become your annihilation bath."
The Abyssal Human hastily tried to erect several barriers blocking the path between Yasenia and itself. It could tell that whatever was coming was going to be terrifying.
Yasenia, grabbing the battle flag with both arms, lowered it as if the motion needed incredible effort. Celestial Fire bloomed out in the form of a massive sword, descending from the sky like a star-slicing catastrophe.
"HAAA!"
With Yasenia’s scream, the world went white. An explosion swept everything with terrifying strength, burying the Abyssal Human in its brilliance. Celestial flames surged all around, causing starlight and celestial phenomena to flash across the sky.
The sun, which had been in the middle of the sky, continued onward, unobstructed.
Grabbing Draheart in its shield form and the battle flag tightly, Yasenia stepped forward slowly, her strength always increasing. Her voice, gorgeously subdued, continued to echo as she stepped forward.
"Celestial fire covers the world,
shadows growing as the hours pass.
Their appearance returned
to give your life a final respite."
SCREECH!
The Abyssal Human emerged from the flames, utterly tragic. The creature had no more leisure to think rationally; that last attack had almost killed it. If it hadn’t been so telegraphed, giving him ample time to defend, it could’ve died back then.
Far too many injuries had accumulated in its body, and these attacks were far too much. Its body flashed forward, attacking Yasenia with everything it had left.
Yasenia also stomped the ground, rushing forward to meet it head-on.
BANG!
They clashed in the middle, their bodies closing in on each other so much that they almost bumped foreheads. After that initial clash, their figures flashed and began speeding across the battlefield, exchanging thousands of attacks.
"The sun’s time fizzles,
night returning.
Its edge ripples,
its death becoming the night’s welcoming."
With a powerful strike, the Abyssal Human was thrown back, and then Yasenia raised her hand toward the Sun in the sky and made a grasping motion.
The Sun, with her motion, fell onto the earth like a meteor. The Abyssal Human looked up, incredulous. It had not expected Yasenia to throw a literal Sun onto it.
BOOM!!!
"Night is your burial,
midnight your eternal prison.
Your existence beyond millennial
will end with today’s mission."
With a clenching motion, Celestial Energy froze everything in the area and formed a massive ice pillar, with stars and galaxies gleaming within.
