Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1648. Abyssal Human. (2)
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
While Yasenia was distracting the Abyssal Human, Tatyana and the others moved quickly. The formation they had prepared was a three-layer formation that would help fully eliminate the creature.
Tatyana swung her formation pen in a blur, lines constructing mid-air and slamming against the ground one after another. Her wrist twisted gently, her fingers agilely and precisely creating the necessary lines.
As she was drawing, her red eyes never left Yasenia’s fighting figure. ‘...Just in case, I need to add the fourth layer.’
She hoped it wouldn’t trigger, but having it would not delay their plans too much. She didn’t inform the others either, to make sure that the plan flowed as planned. The fourth layer was a contingency plan.
As she was pondering that, her senses caught something, and she spoke loudly. “Defense!”
Cecile guided the others, and several layers of defense techniques surrounded the formation area. A second later, Yasenia’s body tore through the air, crashing against those defensive layers with a violent explosion.
BOOM!
Yasenia coughed a few times, but her legs and tail pushed her body up without a moment of rest, speeding away from this area. The Abyssal Human screeched and followed after Yasenia, its body a blur few could follow easily with their eyes.
Cecile couldn’t help but raise her voice, clearly worried. “How much longer!?”
Tatyana answered after hesitating for half a second. “Seven minutes!”
Cecile frowned. In their plan, only around five should’ve been left by now. Tatyana spoke again. “Yasenia’s breakthrough has given us extra time. Two more minutes won’t affect the overall plan. On the contrary, it will be more secure.”
Cecile and the others accepted. Angel, having been learning formations from Tatyana, could slightly sense that the woman was doing extra work for something, but she didn’t say anything.
If there was one person to trust with Yasenia’s safety, it was Tatyana Dravory. That woman would not hesitate to sacrifice an entire Heavenly Layer if it meant Yasenia was safe and sound.
One minute passed, and Yasenia's figure could be seen streaking across the sky again, her body flipping to recover her stance. The mirrors Mirrory unleashed to absorb damage shattered one after another, their numbers quickly depleting.
After two minutes, Yasenia managed to find some footing, creating a temporary balance. This balance lasted until four minutes passed, when the Abyssal Human managed to slip in another attack, striking Yasenia’s right leg.
The force of the strike caused the dragon woman to slide, her giant shield moving agilely to block all attacks coming her way as her foot gouged deep grooves into the ground.
The five-minute mark arrived, and Yasenia’s armor started showing ominous signs. Some plates had become slightly loose, and parts of it were dented inwards. The sheer force of the Abyssal Humas’s attacks was truly exaggerated.
Moreover, as it became crazier, its skills seemed to become more refined as well. After not fighting or doing anything for over a million years, its battle senses were reviving through its battle against Yasenia.
During the sixth and last minute, Yasenia’s blood had begun to pool inside her armor. Thankfully, she had developed a preventive method so that not a single drop seeped out.
Aquarius’s Rain gleamed once more, healing her battered body.
Tatyana shouted her way. “NOW!”
Yasenia quickly dodged several of the tentacles, deflecting many with her shield and tail. However, even if she wanted to move, it was not that easy to create distance from the thing trying to eat her.
So, she decided to do something a touch reckless.
“[Dying Sun]!”
Instead of summoning it between them, she placed it to her right and detonated it instantly. The Abyssal Human had suffered under this attack previously, so it flinched for a moment. That momentary flinch was what Yasenia needed.
BOOM!!
The explosion, blocked by Draheart, caused Yasenia’s body to soar. Then, twisting her body and stomping the air, Yasenia activated her movement techniques and rushed into the formation area.
The second Yasenia arrived, the Abyssal Human used its ridiculous speed to also crash into the area and catch up to her.
Tatyana swung her arm sideways, her dress and long back hair fluttering with her gesture. “[Abyssal Annihilation Dharma Formation].”
The Abyssal Human, for the first time since it eagerly began chasing Yasenia, looked around with its multitude of eyes. The feeling it had when the formation manifested was one of instinctive dread.
The formation, which had three layers, fulfilled three roles: Severance, Heavenly Priority, and Soul Verdict.
Tatyana took out her weapon together with the rest. Then, with Yasenia at its core, several [Immortal Big Dipper Battle Formations] were deployed.
Each of them was formed by 49 individuals, their roles overlapping or as similar as possible.
Their numbers were exactly 266 individuals. So, they formed five large groups with some leftover maids on the sides. These maids would act as a substitute if one of the maids became too injured.
Yasenia, feeling her already strong power surge once more, tightly gripped the war flag while she poured energy into her scale armor. The semi-destroyed armor, as if time was turning back, became pristine once more.
“[Immortal Big Dipper: Onslaught].”
With Yasenia at the lead, she and 48 others focused on melee prowess rushed forward as one individual. The Abyssal Human, who had been looking around with its several eyes, refocused forward.
Seeing so many delicious-smelling prey move in his direction, the Abyssal Human’s mouths grinned and salivated.
SCREECH!
But as it rushed forward, Yasenia hopped and placed her foot against Selena’s large, towering shield. Then, the sturdy lamia pushed forward, and Yasenia jumped ahead using the shield as a foothold.
The figure of the dragon woman magnified in an instant, arriving before the Abyssal Human with [Immortal Big Dipper: Onslaught] coating her flag.
The skill, which gathered the strength of those forming the battle formation, exploded with brutal violence.
BOOM!!
For the first time, the figure of the Abyssal Human shot backward, its gigantic flesh body bouncing against the ground and slamming against the edge of the formation.
This formation’s first quality, Severance, included several effects. Among them was the effect of blocking the hostile target from leaving the place.
The attack was only beginning, though. The remaining 47 melee combatants rushed forward, surrounding the Abyssal Human and released several sword, spear, halberd, axe, or even hammer attacks.
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
The Abyssal Human lost flesh here and there, its tentacles waving around to strike those approaching it. Since they didn’t have as much personal strength as Yasenia, those melee maids were thrown back rather quickly, their bodies lightly injured from the impacts.
Still, they created enough space for Yasenia to arrive and thrust her battle-flag forward with a full-body motion.
“[Sun’s Crushing Blow].”
BOOM!!!
The body of the Abyssal Human was struck against the wall once again, the monstrous pressure deforming its body. However, that was not enough.
The Abyssal Human quickly used its tentacles to move away from the wall, attacking everyone who came close. Of course, its focus was still zeroed in on Yasenia.
It was here that Cecile’s group released a catastrophic rain of ranged attacks. Bows, crossbows, long-range sword phantoms, spears, and many more attacks rained from the sky like a god’s judgment.
Feeling a touch of threat, the Abyssal Human’s tentacles lashed around and blocked those attacks with fluid motions.
As it was blocking, Soluna, Valeria, and many other elemental masters finished their ultimate attacks. Myriad colors swallowed the world around them, catastrophic elemental attacks causing the earth to tremble, the sky to tear, and the temperature to fluctuate wildly.
“SCREEEECHH!!”
It was angry. The Abyssal Human was about to move their way when it felt that familiar presence rushing at it. The armored dragon woman’s presence was far too large in its mind. The rest were an annoyance, but not a true threat like this dragon woman.
CLANG! CLANG! CLANG! CLANG!
Both of them started exchanging attacks again; as they did, the damage on the Abyssal Human’s body regenerated quickly. However, it didn’t notice that the regeneration was slowing down. This was part of the formation’s second authority: Heavenly Priority.
The very antithesis of the Abyss was Heaven itself. So, imbuing Heavenly Influence into the formation caused the Abyssal Human’s powers to slowly weaken. Its regeneration, its ability to corrode the environment and minds around it, and many of its other signature tools were now weakening over time.
It was at this moment that Tatyana, accompanied by all the melee full offense group, appeared right behind the abomination.
“[Abyssal Render].”
Her cold and murderous voice caused the twisted soul of the Abyssal Human to shiver. Its eyes moved back quickly, assessing that whatever was approaching from behind bore a terrifying threat to its existence.
However, it could not react faster than Tatyana’s sword swing.
Black-colored energy burst forth with terrifying momentum, slicing into its flesh and tearing everything into chunks.
Doriel, Alaia, Eira, and many more melee offense-focused maids similarly unleashed their barrage, causing the body of the Abyssal Human to scatter violently into chunks.
Once that happened, the last group, consisting of Kali, Anna, Eve, and many other supporting maids, moved.
Their attacks were directed at those flying chunks, creating glass, root, magma, darkness, or even light cages to separate the Abyssal Human’s chunks.
Even at this point, nobody’s focus wavered. No one believed this was the end, not in the slightest.
The flesh chunks trapped within the cages trembled, and a second later, Abyss Energy exploded from all of them. The corrupted, twisted energy caused all elemental structures created to contain it to crumble and twist as if reality was bending.
Then, they quickly gathered in one place, regaining the Abyssal Human’s monstrous form. Only, this time, the form was a touch more humanoid. It still had far too many arms, mouths, legs, eyes, and overall flesh. Nevertheless, you could tell that it was somewhat humanoid.
Yasenia’s face turned serious.
Tatyana spoke. “It’s slowly reawakening. We need to continue to wear it down until then. Yasenia, continue!”
The dragoness had moved even before Tatyana finished speaking, arriving in front of it and causing its eyes to focus on her once more. “Good. Come at me.”

Meanwhile, outside the formation area, the eight guardians were looking at everything through their secret methods. The seal was, after all, constructed with the intent to seal and also keep an eye on the Abyssal Human.
Qin Cangming spoke with a frown. “See? What did I tell you? They can’t kill it! It regenerates no matter how many times they defeat it.”
While they could observe, they couldn’t hear anything. This was made to prevent the Abyssal Human’s whispers to corrupt those looking at it through the seal formation.
Murong Xianyu spoke with a doubtful look. “They will eventually tire it out… I am as frustrated as you; don’t get me wrong. But I do believe they are doing well enough.”
Wu Tiansheng commented. “We should intervene the next time they scatter it. With the Guardian Marks, we can teleport inside and use our guardian phantoms to destroy those chunks.”
Murong Xianyu agonized, but after seeing the battle for longer with no end in sight, she nodded. “Even if they get angry, we can’t evade our responsibilities.”
