Xa Tian succumbed to his Heart Demons and transformed into a giant snake. Yasenia, however, fed his father's corpse to him and then easily killed him. Afterward, Yasenia and Kali decided to visit Kali's sect, only to find it under attack. Yasenia intervened, revealing herself as Kali's wife and annihilating the attackers.

To Du Yanyu, Kali had always been like a guiding light. The truth was, most, if not all, poison masters were unwelcome. Regardless of their affiliations, morals, or even actions, a Poison Master was deemed a dangerous being, feared simply for their existence.

So, even when some alchemy masters delved into this path out of sheer curiosity and passion, they were met with wary gazes.

Just as Du Yanyu was beginning to feel too ostracized and considered joining a Demonic Sect, Kali emerged. This woman didn't merely research poisons; she specialized in the most disdained and frowned-upon branch of all poisons: parasites.

What truly baffled and captivated Du Yanyu was Kali's absolute openness. When requesting ingredients, she would state her needs plainly, her expression unwavering. And when subjected to mockery, the fox-like woman would simply raise an eyebrow, inquiring if her detractors wished to sample what they were deriding.

Given that even other poison masters tread carefully around parasite specialists, ordinary alchemists turned ashen with fear at Kali’s audacity, ultimately leaving her isolated.

When this occurred, Du Yanyu assumed that, like most, the isolation would lead Kali to a gloomier disposition... but the opposite transpired.

The woman moved with an airy gait, her vibrant green eyes, visible above her veil, sparkling with spirit and joy. She was genuinely delighted to finally be left to her own devices to pursue her interests.

Du Yanyu was instantly drawn to this version of Kali. Thus, she approached her, adopting the role of an elder. After all, back then, Du Yanyu possessed significantly greater power compared to Kali.

Du Yanyu was not alone in noticing; many others in similar predicaments observed the situation, and eventually, an ultimatum was issued by Leral from the Ancient Forest Sect.

Kali remained unfazed and, without the slightest hesitation, chose to depart from the sect. Du Yanyu and numerous others followed suit.

Upon establishing the Endless Death Poison Sect, a name chosen to reflect the boundless potential of poisons, Du Yanyu served as Sect Master for a period, recruiting poison masters from across the globe with the assurance of non-discrimination.

While some hidden experts scoffed, more eccentric individuals joined, intrigued by the potential chaos and anticipating a spectacular downfall.

Who could have foreseen that a single individual would become the unifying force for them all?

Kali, having rapidly advanced her strength and mastery, transformed into an undeniable powerhouse, becoming Sect Master upon Du Yanyu's recommendation.

Following this, Kali diligently fulfilled her duties, venturing into various Secret Realms, acquiring rare treasures, fearlessly engaging other sects without forging lasting enmity, and elevating the Endless Death Poison Sect's reputation to rival that of their former home, the Ancient Forest Sect.

Yet... Du Yanyu's guiding light was abruptly extinguished by an unforeseen connection.

The prodigious genius, seemingly unstoppable with methods that deterred most from antagonizing her without substantial cause, sealed herself away.

From that day forward, the Endless Death Poison Sect truly grasped the significance of that absence, and soon, its decline began.

Du Yanyu exerted her utmost effort. She truly did. However, she could not fill the void left by Kali's previous position. After all, while Du Yanyu was both talented and formidable, she was a "standard" poison master. Her techniques were terrifying, but they did not instill the same dread as Kali's.

Conversely, because her poisons could be countered by equally skilled alchemy masters, the perception of the Endless Death Poison Sect shifted from that of a fearsome, man-eating entity to a powerful but manageable predator.

Years elapsed, and under Leral's relentless assaults, the Endless Death Poison Sect was driven to the precipice, merely half a step from utter annihilation.

Thus, they resolved to reveal their fangs one final time. It was at this critical juncture that Yasenia arrived and, unexpectedly and unknowingly, aided Leral by halting their confrontation.

This interruption allowed Leral to retreat and subsequently rally other heroes to ultimately vanquish the Endless Death Poison Sect.

Consequently, Du Yanyu and the handful of remaining masters could only watch with grim resignation as their defensive formation was systematically breached, leaving them powerless and resigned to their fate.

However, was it fate? Or merely a twist of coincidence? That formidable Dragon woman, appearing as an unstoppable force of nature, reappeared once more.

Adorned in a striking crimson dress, her long, raven hair flowed freely, and her captivating, slit-pupiled golden eyes surveyed the scene without a trace of a smile, even as her lips curved in a subtle, almost imperceptible arc.

Du Yanyu observed with bewilderment until Yasenia parted her alluring lips and uttered words that left her stunned. "I am Yasenia Dravory, Kali Dravory’s wife."'...It’s understandable. If I heard my wife had a sudden, wild soulmate appear, I would also be furious.' As Du Yanyu observed, she detected a familiar presence, carrying the scent of nature, mingled with a new, sweet floral aroma. "Mistress Kali." Kali let out a sigh, gazing at Du Yanyu with a smile that conveyed helplessness. "Haven't I requested you not to address me that way? I'm far too young for such a title!" Du Yanyu, however, paid it no mind. She bowed deeply to Kali, her voice thick with emotion. "I apologize. Many of our disciples, brothers, and sisters have met their demise. While I exerted my utmost effort, I could not maintain your position over the past twenty years. Fewer than 10% of our people remain." Kali sighed again, a shadow of sadness clouding her eyes. Despite her efforts to avoid deep attachments, knowing her eventual departure, the connections forged over decades had inevitably entwined themselves with her heart. Upon hearing of the deaths of so many disciples and companions, Kali's mood darkened considerably. BOOM! A resounding explosion rent the air, and as Kali looked, she witnessed Yasenia unleashing Draheart, cleaving open a vast spatial void before her. Many of the formidable cultivators who had assembled were annihilated in this manner, leaving behind only a handful of the injured and Leral herself. Yasenia’s dragon tail twitched nonchalantly as she pivoted, unleashing a barrage of Celestial Sunders to finish off the remaining opponents. Subsequently, with what appeared to be relative ease, Yasenia tore through the defensive formation, materializing beside Kali with Leral dangling from the scruff of her neck. Du Yanyu was left speechless, staring at the breach in their protective array. 'What kind of monstrous being is Mistress Kali’s wife?' Kali too, glanced at the rupture with an expression tinged with regret. 'That formation was quite costly...' Angel and her companions descended as well, passing through the newly created opening. Angel addressed Kali with a frown. "What sort of formation fraud did you engage, Kali? Were you swindled? This defensive array is riddled with flaws and vulnerabilities. Observe!" As Angel indicated several points, beams of white light erupted. The entire formation then shattered like delicate crystals, leaving Kali’s gaze vacant. "...My funds." Yasenia wholeheartedly concurred with her 'Baby'. "It was indeed weak, even by the standards of this stratum. I suppose formation masters in this realm are rather inept." Kali regarded Yasenia and sighed, a smile gracing her lips. "Never mind, never mind. Let us simply say that I was deceived." "Hmph? Who dares? Let us proceed to obliterate their Sect!" Kali's forehead creased, and she extended her hand, grasping Yasenia’s tail. "Hauga~". Yasenia emitted a low moan of pleasure, her tail, admittedly, never being a point of defense around her beloveds. She turned, a faint blush coloring her cheeks. "Why did you grasp my tail, Honey? Do you desire it?" Kali's heart felt as though it would burst from its rapid palpitations, and even Du Yanyu and the others felt a warmth surge within them. 'T-To blush so demurely with that visage is against the established order! May the heavens smite her! Her beauty is excessively destructiveee.' Kali coughed, attempting to conceal her own flush, and responded with an expression that was both stern and gentle. "Let us disregard those insignificant individuals. Simply leave Leral here to provide our Sect with some bargaining power. In doing so, the Endless Death Poison Sect might stand a chance of survival." Leral's heart turned cold, and she lifted her vacant eyes. "...Are you intending to use your former master as a hostage?" Kali looked at Leral and tilted her head, her long, fox-like ears drooping to the sides. "Master? Hm... If you considered yourself my master, why then would you have attempted to end my life on so many occasions? Leral, my most profound act of leniency was leaving the Ancient Forest Sect unharmed despite our conflicts. You rejected that gesture, and thus, I have nothing further to offer." Kali, much like Andrea, gravitated towards a more benevolent demeanor. She wasn't inherently righteous, but as long as she wasn't provoked, she would offer smiles and speak with kindness. Conversely, when enraged, Kali could transform into a terrifying fiend. Leral gazed at Kali for a prolonged moment before her head drooped listlessly once more. A flicker of resentment ignited within her heart as she spat through clenched teeth. "...You were merely fortunate to possess such a monstrous creature as your wife." "That is correct." Leral faltered, and Kali responded with a radiant, joyful smile. "I am indeed fortunate to have her. Without her, I could never have attained my current standing." Yasenia, weary of Leral’s antagonistic disposition, tossed her towards Du Yanyu. "You are Du Yanyu, correct? Kali has spoken of you. I shall grant you one week to select those who wish to depart with Kali and also to inaugurate the next Sect Master. Following this, we shall be taking our leave." "Leaving...? Where to?" Yasenia gestured upwards and grinned. "Naturally, to other Heavenly Layers. Do not concern yourselves; we shall guide you to a locale conducive to your development..." Her golden, slit pupils narrowed slightly with her smile. "I anticipate your successful survival~."

Kali was then swiftly carried away by Yasenia and vanished from sight. As they departed, Kali couldn't help but feel bewildered. "Why did you feel the need to add that final sentence?" he inquired.

"It was to gauge their true attitudes towards you. My intention is to only attract individuals with unwavering wills and sincere loyalty. As for the rest... let them perish in this world if they must." Yasenia replied, her tone firm.

Upon hearing her explanation, Kali offered a nod and a smile. "Very well, we shall proceed as you suggest. So, what are your plans for the coming week?"

Yasenia's eyes flickered slightly as she responded with a hint of caution in her voice, "Treasure hunting..."

Kali's brow furrowed slightly in confusion as Andrea let out a soft chuckle. "Oh, we are indeed 'hunting' for treasures, Kali. We even have a good idea of their exact locations."

Still perplexed, Kali heard Evelyn's laughter chime in. "I do wonder if these treasures, hidden away within those rather difficult-to-access treasuries, will prove to be worth the effort," she mused.

"...Ah." Kali looked towards his lover's face, a blend of helplessness and deep affection in his gaze. "So, you intend to plunder the treasuries of those we've just defeated?"

Yasenia's expression shifted to one of mock indignation as she retorted, "Plunder? I am merely shouldering the immense burden left by the deceased! Such a tremendous burden, truly!" Her mouth began to water slightly. "A burden so vast, I only wish it would pile up into literal mountains."

A wave of laughter rose from Kali and the others.
