Heaven, Earth, Me Chapter 1549. Tyrannical Cosmos Dragon Suppression.
Previously on Heaven, Earth, Me...
Sterila's facial veins started to bulge, her countenance appearing as though it would ignite from sheer fury. "R-Repeat what you just uttered!"
The messenger swallowed hard. "The enemy forces managed to slip past our blockade and are currently plundering the treasuries of the Sects we left undefended."
Taking a deep, bracing breath, Sterila then bellowed, "Angel Dravory! We are irreconcilably opposed until the very end!"
Angel, in the process of feeding a high-tier Beast Core to Yasenia, let out a cute sneeze. "Hashiu!"
Yasenia was about to erupt in laughter when she too felt a tickle, prompting her to sneeze just as adorably. "Hashiu!"
Andrea nearly clutched her chest in disbelief. ’How can their sneezes be so identical when they are such polar opposites!? Being so alluring and sneezing so innocently is utterly against the rules!’
Angel chuckled heartily. "Do you believe that woman has figured it out yet?"
Yasenia blinked, a smile gracing her lips. "Most likely. She might be seething with anger towards us right now."
Angel beamed with triumph. "It’s their own fault for being so utterly bothersome!"
Glancing sideways, Yasenia’s gaze fell upon a trembling woman attempting to suppress her presence. She blinked and inquired, "So, is this the location where you conceal your most cherished possessions?"
The woman nodded vigorously. "Y-Yes, Senior. This is indeed the place."
Both Angel and Yasenia narrowed their eyes, sensing a subtle deception in her words. "You are... stating only a partial truth."
Yasenia's observation startled Angel momentarily, before she recalled that Dragons possessed an acute sensitivity to sincerity and falsehoods. She then regarded Mirrory with an inquisitive expression.
The woman felt an overwhelming sense of dread under Yasenia’s piercing scrutiny. Upon their arrival, there had been ten other individuals alongside herself. However, under the relentless questioning, each one had met a grim fate. ’These fiends! From whence did they emerge?’
Desperate to avoid a similar end, the woman spoke, her voice quivering. "S-Senior, our most valuable treasures are not housed within this Sect. I solemnly swear this is the repository within the Sect where the highest caliber of treasures are kept."
Yasenia suddenly understood the reason behind the slight incongruity in the woman’s prior statement.
After a thoughtful nod, Yasenia rose to her feet, drawing Angel close and opening her mouth to crush the Beast Core Angel offered. The sound of her formidable molars grinding the Beast Core sent an even more intense shiver through the trembling woman. It was an unnerving sound, akin to bones being shattered.
"Well, by this juncture, the opposing forces must undoubtedly be aware of our presence. What course of action do you propose, my dearest? Shall we engage them piecemeal, eliminating them one by one? Or perhaps a direct confrontation is in order?"
Angel replied, clinging to Yasenia like a koala. "Whatever you desire~. I am perfectly content right here."
Yasenia nodded and then addressed Anna and the others. "Let us engage in some conflict for now. I have concluded, after considerable deliberation, that I shall refrain from annihilating this world entirely."
Tatyana looked at Yasenia with evident curiosity. "What is the reason behind this decision?"
Yasenia smiled enigmatically. "There are simply too many treasures to be had! I can bestow my mark upon this realm, ensuring my offspring can return in the future during their training, allowing them to plunder this newly reclaimed world!"
Tatyana's eyes widened, Andrea blinked in surprise, and everyone else followed suit. Even the woman quivering at the side stared, utterly bewildered, at the majestic Dragon.
"Ah, indeed." Yasenia glanced downwards. "You should not have heeded those words."
As those indifferent golden irises fixed upon her, the woman nearly shrieked in terror. "I-I swear upon the Heavens to never divulge a single secret by any means possible! May the Heavens utterly destroy my soul if I even offer the slightest hint!"
Yasenia, who had begun to raise her hand, paused. "Hm... Very well. Given your profound sincerity, I shall permit you to depart."
The woman sagged with relief, but in the ensuing second, Yasenia’s tail whipped out with blinding speed, striking with a decisive blow that severed her head. "Alone with the spectral inhabitants of this place." A sneer curled Yasenia’s lips. "Someone who dared to harm my treasured Baby seeks to continue living by uttering a pathetic oath? Truly, some individuals place far too high a value upon themselves."
Yasenia and her companions ascended into the sky, Garest devouring the treasury as before. Gazing upon her amassed riches, Yasenia felt a peculiar blend of joy and dissatisfaction. She pouted slightly. "I now possess an overwhelming abundance of Transcendent-Ranked treasures and those below them. Acquiring more feels... somewhat superfluous."
Tatyana expressed shock. "Impossible. You are feeling content?"
Yasenia projected her personal storage dimension and gestured towards a distant mountain range. "Observe! They have accumulated into veritable mountains!" However, immediately after speaking, Yasenia's expression shifted to a squint. "Hm... My calculations were slightly off."
Andrea felt a surge of foreboding. Yasenia blinked. "The current hoard of treasures is insufficient to fully entomb my colossal Dragon form within! We must acquire more."
Andrea nearly lost her footing, while Tatyana simply shook her head. ’Just as I suspected. How could she ever be satisfied so readily?’
Thus, their group took flight, setting their sights on further pillaging several sects that had previously wronged Angel. As they soared through the sky, Andrea was utterly astonished. "You truly have a knack for making enemies, Angel. I mean, what is this sect, the twelfth we've encountered? At this rate, I'm beginning to suspect you might be the one at fault, not them."
Angel looked over, her brow furrowed, and Andrea immediately realized her words could be easily misinterpreted. She chuckled nervously, "I don't mean you shouldn't do as you please. Still, be honest, you did pilfer quite a few treasures from them, which understandably provoked them, right?"
To Andrea's surprise, Angel simply shook her head. "Actually, I didn't. It's just that my innate talent allows me to discern the world's truths and predict the appearance of many treasures through a certain degree of divination. Therefore, I've traveled extensively, collecting valuable items from all corners. This naturally irked the local powers, and eventually, I earned the notorious title of Crystal Blood Witch."
This revelation was quite unexpected for Andrea. She pondered the situation, finding their current actions somewhat more justifiable in her heart. Of course, she was merely trying to soothe her own conscience. Nevertheless, it was enough for her not to feel too sympathetic towards their targets.
"I've found you! Crystal Blood Witch, surrender at once!"
They all whirled around to witness Sterila hurtling towards them, accompanied by several hundred cultivators from the Sixth Realm. Yasenia, cradling Angel, regarded the approaching woman with a narrowed gaze. "She... Hm..."
Sterila appeared perplexed, observing the dragon woman as if trying to decipher what she was about to utter.
"Ah, correct! You are one of the individuals who fled from me that day, aren't you?"
Angel glanced at Yasenia and gave a slight laugh. "Sterila. Her name is Sterila, Yasenia."
Sterila's face contorted, believing Yasenia was mocking her by feigning ignorance. "Dragon! Who exactly are you!?" She could no longer tolerate this perceived disrespect. Even if this dragon possessed formidable strength, she desperately needed to know her origin.
Yasenia replied, subtly adjusting Angel's position in her arms. "I am Yasenia Dravory, Angel's wife. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sterila." She offered a smile, though a frigid glint flickered in her eyes. "I've already heard from her that you 'took care' of her during my absence, haven't you?"
Sterila and the other high-ranking cultivators present were left speechless by Yasenia's declaration. "Wife...? That ruthless woman has a wife?"
Yasenia's expression instantly soured. "Who is ruthless? If it weren't for your lot's insatiable greed for her treasures and your incessant provocations, would my adorable and cherished Baby have become so ruthless? Would she have even bothered with any of you insignificant fools? You are all worthless insects who made Angel suffer while I was away, and for that, I shall annihilate every single one of you."
"ARROGANT!"
Sterila bellowed, her rage erupting with her voice.
Yasenia let out a soft snort and gently placed Angel aside. Her gaze turned icy as she slowly drifted forward. "I have yet to unleash my full power since that day. I suppose today is an opportune moment to gauge just how strong I have truly become."
Yasenia gazed upwards and declared, "Heaven, you had best reinforce this sector of the world if you wish to prevent the shockwaves from my attacks from obliterating everything."
Sterila and the others stared in disbelief after Yasenia's pronouncement. However, being seasoned veterans, they recognized that her words were not mere hyperbole. The reason was evident.
RUMBLE!
The heavens themselves seemed to respond to Yasenia's declaration, and a palpable convergence of world energies surged towards their location, as if the very fabric of existence was bracing for the impending impact.
Yasenia extended her hand to the side, and to Angel and Andrea's astonishment, a colossal flag materialized in her grasp. Andrea blinked in confusion. "A... flag?"
Angel, however, adopted a solemn demeanor. The profound aura emanating from the flag was terrifying.
"[Everlasting War Calamity Battle Flag], unfurl your might."
At Yasenia's command, the world plunged into darkness. From the flag and Yasenia's own form, an overwhelming torrent of killing intent erupted. The sheer magnitude of this malevolent energy, capable of engulfing the entire world, could be felt from every single vantage point across the globe.
Yasenia's golden, slit pupils swiftly transformed into a deep, blood-red hue. Yet, there was no trace of madness within her gaze. Yasenia, even as a tempest of lethal intent swirled around her, remained utterly lucid and perfectly rational.
The relentless waves of killing intent, akin to the spectral wails of a thousand tormented souls, forced Sterila and her companions to retreat a step. Their hearts quaked, and the specter of Heart Demons threatened to manifest merely from Yasenia's overwhelming aura.
In that moment, Andrea felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for having intervened and prevented Yasenia from unleashing a similar cataclysm upon her own world back then. Otherwise, nothing would have survived its wrath.
Yasenia advanced through the air, each step shattering the very fabric of space, creating ephemeral platforms. " Honestly, Sterila. I had intended to simply eliminate those Angel desired and then disengage from all other matters. After all, if Angel felt appeased and content, your insignificant lives would hold no consequence for me. However, you just had to provoke me, didn't you? "
With her third stride, a pair of magnificent, star-dusted white wings unfurled behind Yasenia. A beat of these feathered appendages propelled her skyward.
BOOM!
The world reverberated from Yasenia's forceful descent, the resulting shockwave distorting and fracturing space as if it were a brittle foundation.
Her being bypassed Sterila, materializing amidst hundreds of cultivators at the Transcendence Realm. "Before me, none should even dare to gaze upwards. Suppress. [Tyrannical Cosmos Dragon Suppression], [Tyrannical Warlord Intent Domain]."
ROAR!
A resounding dragon's roar enveloped Yasenia, her potent aura and Intent Domain engulfing everything like an insatiable predator. Those struck by Yasenia's presence felt an immense weight, akin to a mountain's burden, pressing down upon them as mere mortals, forcing each individual to the ground.
The heavens, once populated by hundreds of Sixth Realm cultivators, were now solely occupied by Yasenia. She surveyed the fallen figures below, her expression devoid of fury, replaced by an overwhelming apathy.
"You, who lack the very qualification to soar before me, presume to confront me? In your next existence, understand your proper station. Now, attack me. Let me ascertain if your collective efforts can provide any amusement."
'How... How is she so overwhelmingly powerful? How could the Heavens... permit such an entity to exist?'
Sterila gazed upward, unresigned, her spirit struggling to comprehend the profound shock of the unfolding events.
