Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 485 - VS Solstice [2]

Previously on Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System...
Maryam, Selene, and Love entered the domain of Light, where tension immediately ignited between Maryam and the stoic Light over his unrequited love for Love, who clung devotedly to Maryam despite the evident heartbreak. As Elira and Yuki pulled a puzzled Selene aside, explaining the tangled affections and Noah's bold plan to summon the Spirit World's Origin Will's wrath, Maryam seized the moment to taunt Light telepathically about past grievances and demanded the Broken Tower from a smitten Love to prove her loyalty. Meanwhile, high above the shattered Dominion of Solstice, Noah dismissed Ester's shadows and confronted the enigmatic Soul Ruler alone, snapping his fingers to unleash the Fifth Zodiac—the Lion, Sin of Pride—as the battle erupted.

Observing the assault descending upon him, Noah beheld the image of a massive golden lion, its essence of pride leaking forth like liquid from a punctured vessel.

The beast parted its jaws broadly, revealing gleaming golden fangs that plunged into the fabric of existence—it groaned in agony before fragmenting and bellowing from the depths of its maw.

A surge of divine force burst forth, crashing into Noah in a flash, scorching all in its trajectory to ashes.

Simultaneously, Solstice materialized at Noah's rear, unscathed by the energy he wielded, clutching a colossal golden bow in his grip.

As he drew back the see-through cord, a spectral centaur

emerged in his wake, replicating his motion flawlessly. Soon after, an arrow materialized spontaneously on the bowstring, forged from dense soul energy in a deep red-black hue.

The fabric of space warped and dissolved, while a foul odor permeated the entire field of battle.

In that moment, the shroud of energy obscuring Noah dispersed, revealing the Prince in his full splendor, unmarked by any injury on his form.

He whipped his gaze aside, eyeing the maw of the Lion, embodiment of Pride's Sin, mere inches from clamping on his throat.

Noah evaded low, the Lion's jaws clashing emptily with a sharp snap, before he pivoted laterally, clenching his hand into a fist and slamming it straight into the beast's belly.

Prior to the blow connecting, he activated his atomic control, altering the makeup of his skeletal frame, tissues, and epidermis to rival the might of countless stellar explosions clustered together.

Upon the punch striking true, one half of the Lion vanished into

oblivion, the remainder erupting into the atmosphere in torrents of shattered meat. Its nucleus fractured apart.

The Lion howled in torment, yet Noah lacked the leisure to savor its cry. A prickling sensation crept up the nape of his neck, every strand of hair rising stiffly akin to quills on a hedgehog.

Whirling his head around, he caught sight of Solstice loosing the projectile, emitting a piercing yell while the arrow's force ripped through the void.

of the

projectile.

"Freeze." Noah commanded with composure, and the flow of time ceased precisely as the arrowhead brushed his brow.

Crimson droplets flowed from the wound, venom infiltrating his veins, prompting Noah to chuckle.

The temporal stasis endured scarcely a single second, yet that proved ample for his purposes.

Drawing on the sensation of harm inflicted by the recent force, Noah reshaped his right arm to counter the arrow's potency.

In doing so, his physique purged the toxin from within.

Seizing hold of the shaft, he whirled his body repeatedly until the clock ticked onward once more.

He hurled it toward Solstice, amplifying its strength several times over. In the interim, terror flooded Solstice's gaze as he comprehended the full second of immobilization.

Ere his thoughts sharpened anew, the arrow streaked by his skull. It detonated without delay, drawing forth wails of agony and fury from the surviving Lion's gullet and Solstice's own lips.

The blast generated a blast of energy that battered Noah, which he harnessed to launch himself rearward, widening the gap between them.

With a roll of his shoulders, he noted his brow had mended, observing the plume of pale and violet mist ascending to the heavens.

"Hm," Noah muttered. "Still on your feet?" He angled his chin.

The force he'd deployed ought to have incapacitated Solstice for an extended period at minimum.

Yet, once the haze of faded soul essence parted, Solstice remained upright, his cranium restored, encircled by an enormous scarlet fish-like entity covered in staring orbs that orbited him.

"Reversal," declared the Soul Ruler, instantly revitalizing the Lion's waning vigor from Noah's partial destruction of its heart.

Consequently, the Lion mended swiftly, baring its teeth and snarling at Noah with venomous resentment.

Witnessing this, Noah comprehended the reason for the Soul Ruler's survival.

"Reversal, eh." Noah pondered aloud, grinning. "Quite the fascinating ability."

He assumed his position, invoking the Singularity's might this round while encasing himself in temporal contraction.

That wasn't all. He integrated the inherent talent of Laka, the Bloodline Sage. This mythical creature possessed the Bloodline Fog technique—a mist designed to quash the lineage essence of any ensnared within.

However, Noah had no intention of curbing Solstice's lineage. Evidently, the Soul Ruler's abilities bore no connection to

lineage.

Rather, he delved into his spirit's depths to find the emblem linked to the

ability

Fog.

Amid the chaos of combat, with effortless precision as Solstice charged forth, a monochrome balance hovering overhead bearing a shrouded woman's visage, his lips parted to invoke a technique—Noah altered the essence of that technique entirely.

Employing his incomprehensible atomic mastery, alongside Probability and Singularity to compel destiny to spawn a twisted perversion of the technique, Noah succeeded in crafting an equivalent monstrosity right as

Solstice's cry echoed.

"Reversal."

In a flash, every force encircling Noah diminished—from abundance to scarcity, from dominance to frailty.

Alas, the moment had passed. Noah had completed his desired invention.

Before long, Solstice perceived the shift, as a scarlet-golden mist burst from Noah's mouth and orbs of sight, swaddling him in its dense hold. He roared, flailing futilely within the haze. All efforts proved vain.

While lineage exerted no influence in the Spirit World upon its denizens, the soul operated under different laws.

Though one could overlook this subtle trait of the Spirit World, all elements—from inhabitants and edifices to chronology and dimensions—consisted of soul matter.

The umbrae of Shadow, Solstice's Twelve Zodiac Signs and his Reversal faculty, the Affection of Affection, and the Radiance of Radiance all adhered to this principle.

Thus, what transpired when an entity gained the capacity to diminish—subdue—the fundamental notion of soul matter within a single existence? Noah beheld the response manifesting live before him, his gaze serene as Solstice dropped to one knee

before him.

Sweat poured from him in rivers.

His abilities shattered, compelling the Lion and Libra to dissolve into

liquid luminescence, trailing echoes of concern for their lord.

They appeared to possess independent sentiments, Noah observed, deeming it all the more captivating.

Nevertheless, he dismissed the notion with a head shake, banishing stray thoughts to refocus on the Soul Ruler.

His condition evoked near pity. Countless eyes bulged wide,

plagued by bewilderment and terror. Evidently, the Soul Ruler had endured no such ordeal previously.

Particularly since Noah's subjugation proved total when his spirit outmatched the foe's. Few essences rivaled the spirit of Reality's Heir.

"Well," Noah exhaled, offering a subtle smile, "you held out, truthfully, far beyond my expectations."

"How... how possess you such ability?" Solstice inquired, his tone hoarse

and taut. "Only Principality and Origin Will should wield this ability."

His stare bored into Noah.

"How?"

"Oh?" Noah voiced in surprise, tilting his head. "Is that the reason you can't challenge a Principality?"

Despite that, the Merchant—or perhaps his confederates—had slain such an entity.

Noah shook his head anew, lowering his gaze to behold a basin of darkness pooling at his soles.

Ester's words resounded shortly thereafter.

"I've located the Lake and the fractured half Tower," she reported. "Do they fulfill what

you required, husband?"

Noah grinned, eyeing Solstice's pallid, exhausted visage.

"Aye, darling. As ever, splendid work," he replied.

"Yet I spotted more, husband," Ester went on. "At the Lake's depths, near the blooms, there lay a concealed portal. Likely a domain."

"How?" Solstice's fractured timbre hissed forth. "HOW DID YOU-!"

"Silence!" Noah commanded, intensifying his soul subjugation upon the Soul Ruler, forcing his features to meet the earth.

Still, Solstice writhed persistently, yearning to vocalize and doubtless revile.

Ester ignored him, concluding her briefing.

"Beyond the domain, husband, exists a lotus and a child—a little girl,

not exceeding six years—sprouting from the lotus." She hesitated. Solstice roared in rage and horror.

"The child draws sustenance from the lotus, as the lotus draws from

the lake and the myriad souls imprisoned within that domain."
