Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System Chapter 484 - VS Solstice [1]

Instantly, Maryam, Selene, and Love materialized within the domain of Light, the shift occurring rapidly due to their connected rings.
Right away, Light's face loomed mere inches from Maryam's, his single eye staring without a blink.
Tension built up quickly between the pair, as Maryam grinned provocatively, and Light maintained his unchanging stern expression like a facade.
Selene observed the odd encounter from nearby, confused by the bizarre setup. Yet, prior to her uttering a word, Elira and Yuki pulled her aside, each grabbing one of her arms.
"Keep quiet," Elira whispered, viewing the moment as a dramatic play. The Records were aware of her desire for Virgo's presence. At the very least, sweets and soda would always be plentiful then.
"Why?" Selene inquired, cocking her head. "What scheme are you hatching this time? And where's Noah anyway? What's his intention now?"
"Causing chaos, as usual," Yuki replied in a relaxed manner. "You understand him, right? We're accustomed to it by this point. Still, I have to say, this occasion feels entirely unique."
"Regarding those two," Elira chimed in with a chuckle, "it's simply this, dear Selene: Light adores Love. Yet Love is smitten with Maryam."
"Love seems fond of me as well," Selene remarked, not dwelling on the dubious statement.
Elira and Yuki whipped their heads in her direction, gaping at her in shock.
Selene's mouth corners jerked, and she quickly pressed on with her explanation.
"Trust me, sisters, this Pink Pig would adore you too if she set her sights on you."
"Yeah, no thanks."
"Exactly. I'm not into pigs, you see?"
"That's prejudiced, Elira."
"Whatever."
Selene let out a sigh, steering the conversation back to her son's true actions.
Thus, as her eyes grew wide upon learning that Noah intended to draw the full fury of the Spirit World's Origin Will upon himself...
...Maryam gazed steadily at Light, whose gaze remained locked on Love, whom she clutched like a possession, with Love's legs kicking futilely in the air as though seeking footing.
"My beloved Maryam, I relish this firm handling of my form - I really do - but might you save it for bedtime?" Love stated, her cheeks flushing like she was baring herself. "Right now, I'm starving!"
Maryam's mouth twitched sharply at those words. She just managed to refrain from swatting this lustful pig's neck.
Indeed, she had become tolerant of Love's endless displays of fondness, yet every indulgence has its boundary.
And with her son returned safely to her embrace, that boundary had tightened considerably.
But prior to her responding, Light spoke up instead.
"Love," Light uttered, drawing the Pink Pig Ruler's focus, "I've allowed you ample opportunity to recognize that this home wrecker holds no affection for you. She doesn't, and never will. Don't you perceive it?"
With a wing, Light gestured toward Maryam. Love obeyed without thought, examining Maryam's expression.
It appeared impassive, perhaps slightly entertained by the events. "Observe her, then observe me. Note the contrast in our gazes toward you. Only then shall your vision clear, revealing the stark reality."
His tone remained soft and even. Nevertheless, the subtle quiver underneath was detectable to all. Undoubtedly, Light's feelings for Love were sincere.
This was common knowledge. Even to Love. Yet herein resided love's harsh reality...
"Light, dear Light, I recognize your love for me. And I reciprocate, I assure you. But not romantically, rather as one who supported me in my time of need," Love expressed in her most composed manner.
"Still, my affections are devoted to Maryam. Don't inquire why; I cannot explain. Her lack of love for me so far stems solely from..."
Love hesitated, then glanced at Maryam. "What's my rival's name once more?"
"Noah," Maryam replied, entertained.
Love faced Light again. "Right! It's entirely Noah's fault! I know my
love Maryam will come to love me! And damn it, where the hell is that home wrecker? See, Light, Maryam isn't the home wrecker. Noah is!"
She halted briefly, then shouted anew.
"Where is Noah!?"
Love resolved to win Maryam's heart, all while rejecting the devotion of one willing to sacrifice everything for her.
Light regarded her with dull eyes, observing her affectionate behavior toward
Maryam, who offered only a couple of smiles to quiet her down.
'You pursue one who'll never return your love, abandoning one whose love for you endures eternally.'
Light pondered, his eye briefly locking with Maryam's. She conveyed a smile through her eyes - they arched slyly like a poisonous
serpent.
Her words thundered within his thoughts.
"This serves as payback for every assault you launched at me as a novice Ruler.
Didn't I warn you I wouldn't overlook them? I never do, Light. And I invariably
retaliate."
Light remained quiet momentarily, then responded in his typical serene, flat tone.
"I suppose I held back too much against you."
Maryam gave a casual shrug.
"But I shan't."
Afterward, she directed her attention to Love, beaming at her with radiant and pure charm.
Love nearly fainted from the sheer allure.
"I require a favor from you, dear Love."
"Whatever it is!" Love squealed. "I'll do anything for you, I vow! Just say it!"
Precisely then, the Principality trembled anew. Interpreting it as an omen, Maryam hastened her statement.
"I desire the Broken Tower from you."
Love froze, processing the demand, then tilted her head sideways.
"Why?"
"To prove the depth of your love for me."
...
Simultaneously, Noah soared high over the Dominion of Solstice, observing sections of it utterly demolished, with vapors rising like a smokestack.
Flames, waves, winds, and stones tore through the atmosphere ferociously, creating an elemental chaos capable of tearing apart nearly any creature effortlessly.
This represented the final effort from the Four Leaders of the Fundamental Elemental Dragons in the dragon group. Their strength had been vast, yet now only this tempest remained.
It bordered on pitiful.
Still, that wasn't Noah's primary worry at present. His gaze centered on the figure standing unfazed amid the elemental frenzy.
He stood notably tall, about six feet, with skin pale as frost, adorned in twisting tribal markings everywhere. Shirtless, his lower half was clad in a plain red telaba whipping wildly in the gale.
The figure's visage consisted solely of staring, fierce eyes that occasionally mimicked a mouth.
Noah observed Solstice, arms folded across his torso. Suddenly, darkness started seeping below him. But,
"No." Noah shook his head gently. "I'll handle him by myself. You've fulfilled your role, Ester. Take a break!"
The shadows hesitated abruptly before fading gradually, akin to ink being wiped clean.
"Best of luck, Husband."
Noah responded with a grunt, his attention solely on the Soul Ruler before him.
With Ester fully departed, Noah cracked his neck to the left, then the right.
"Well," he murmured with a subtle smile, "let's get started, Solstice?"
The Soul Ruler replied with profound, motionless quiet. However, that wasn't Solstice's style.
"The fight commenced long ago," Solstice rumbled, his voice resembling a chorus of thousands uttering in unison.
His statement only broadened Noah's grin.
"Naturally, I'm aware."
It was at that point the concealed utterances of Solstice, veiled beneath veils of existence, erupted everywhere from Noah's sharp finger snap. The Prince lifted his gaze and beheld a vision that curved his handsome lips into a smirk.
"Fifth Zodiac - The Lion, Sin of Pride."
