The match between Karasuno and Kamomedai concluded rather swiftly, and right next to their court, the ongoing battle between Itachiyama and Ichibayashi was underway!
With the score currently tied at one set apiece, the decisive third set had just commenced!
Ichibayashi, who had participated in the quarterfinals of the previous Spring High tournament against Inarizaki, suffered a heartbreaking defeat and was unable to advance.
Now, they found themselves in the same bracket as the reigning champions, the formidable Itachiyama!
Observing the current state of the match, Itachiyama's performance appeared to lack some of its usual aggressive intensity.
As the Karasuno team exited the court, they encountered the Fukurōdani squad, who were leisurely making their way out from the tunnel.
"Hey! Hey!"
Despite having just finished a match earlier that morning, Kōtarō Bokuto was still radiating with boundless energy!
"That was an absolutely fantastic game just now!"
Bokuto's eyes seemed to ignite with the thrill of competition.
"Karasuno is so incredibly strong—far stronger than they were before!"
"I'm absolutely going to clash with you all tomorrow!!"
His declaration was met with helpless forehead rubs from Keiji Akaashi and the others nearby.
"Senpai, aren't you forgetting about our current opponent?"
"If we happen to lose to Mujinazaka, we won't even have the opportunity to face Karasuno tomorrow!"
"Mujinazaka, eh? Ha ha!"
As if recalling something amusing, Bokuto placed his hands on his waist and let out a hearty laugh.
"Kiryū is a formidable rival. I've yearned to compete against him for ages, yet we've never had the chance!"
"Let's go!"
With that, he pulled Akaashi along, initiating their departure towards the court.
"Give it your best!"
Daichi Sawamura shouted loudly as he watched them depart.
"We absolutely must cross paths in the arena tomorrow!!"
"We haven't had a chance to play against each other in the main tournament yet! I'm genuinely eager to witness the full might of a serious Fukurōdani!"
"Don't you worry!"
Without even turning around, Bokuto simply waved his hand over his shoulder from a distance.
"I won't let you down!!"

Meanwhile, Itachiyama emerged victorious against Ichibayashi, securing their spot in tomorrow's semifinals.
Looming on the horizon, following them, is the highly anticipated match between Inarizaki and their yet-to-be-defeated opponent!
Preceding that crucial encounter, the intense duel between Mujinazaka and Fukurōdani had been raging for a considerable duration.
During the first set, Mujinazaka reverted to their characteristic strategy yet again.
Whether by design or by default, their assaults were deliberately concentrated on Bokuto!
However, from the perspective of the other competing teams, this approach was hardly surprising.
If one weren't to target the ace, who else would be the logical choice?
For potent scoring threats like Bokuto, leaving them unhindered could result in an astronomical impact!
And indeed, under that relentless pressure, Akaashi's execution appeared to suffer somewhat in the initial stages.
Even with Akinori Konoha, Sarukui Yamato, and the others making valiant efforts to provide support, Fukurōdani found themselves unable to shift the momentum, ultimately conceding the first set.
However, once the second set commenced, the entire Fukurōdani team seemed to regain their lost footing!
Most notably, Akaashi's resurgence infused renewed vitality into the rest of the team!
Furthermore, a truly determined Bokuto unleashed a torrent of overwhelming power!
On the court, he engaged in a direct, high-stakes duel with Kiryū Wakatsu—recognized as one of Japan's elite three aces—and, astonishingly, appeared to slightly eclipse him in performance!
Carrying this potent momentum forward, Fukurōdani claimed two consecutive sets, clinching the victory!
This triumphant outcome meant they were slated to face Karasuno in the semifinals scheduled for the following day!
Outside the Musashino Forest Gymnasium, the fiery hues of the sunset were steadily descending below the horizon.
At the main entrance, spectators were continuously pouring out.
The quarterfinal matches for this afternoon had officially drawn to a close.
All four semifinal contenders had now been decisively determined!
They are Karasuno, Itachiyama, Fukurōdani, and Inarizaki!
Tomorrow, they will engage in fierce battles on Centre Court, vying for the coveted chance to advance to the finals!
