News of Vincent Carey's ascension to Magic Lord and induction into the Mage Union's Outer Hall rocks Magic City. The Doyle Wizard Family, who previously opposed Vincent, finds themselves in a precarious position, fearing retribution. The Nicholson, Cox, and Park families, who distanced themselves from Vincent hoping for his downfall, are now filled with regret as their children remain stalled at Level-9. Meanwhile, the general populace, including arena spectators and shop owner Martin, react with shock and excitement, while others like Butler Gideon of the Barrett Family worry about their own faction's standing in light of Vincent's rapid rise.

Magic City

Time went by.

The news garnered so much attention that the name Vincent Carey became a talking point in the Magic City.

Especially when the news traveled to the surrounding satellite cities about a new Magic Lord joining the Outer Hall of the Mage Union.

The popularity of Vincent Carey skyrocketed once again. The next generation of wizard seeds and other lower- to mid-tier upcoming wizards started following the news of Wizard Vincent.

They began digging into the stories of Wizard Vincent. Wizard Vincent, who was now a Magic Lord in his twenties, had become a role model for the upcoming generation.

Whether the news was being pushed or not remained unclear, but the media houses picked it up and began reporting on it.

They started talking about Wizard Vincent.

All the media outlets ran special programs on Wizard Vincent, showing where he had come from and how he had joined the Supreme Wizard.

When night fell,

People in the Magic City and the surrounding satellite cities began watching the broadcast over dinner. Shop owners were watching along with their customers.

Recently, they had been hearing rumors about an unknown organization troubling the Mage Union.

Their businesses and resource points were being attacked, and the Mage Union had dispatched the Wizard Towers to handle the problem.

However, the Mage Union had not acted directly; they were merely using the Wizard Towers to resolve the issue.

The name of Wizard Vincent was bound to become etched in the minds of the people. The public’s criticism and uncertainty toward the Mage Union were largely erased by the broadcast.

The programs were also being watched by the Wizard Families and other wizard organizations.

The family heads were making plans to send congratulatory gifts to the Silver Tower.

They wanted to establish good relations with the Silver Tower, and above all, they wanted to meet Vincent Carey. Thus, all these families began preparing expensive gifts.

On the other hand, auction houses and wealthy trading organizations were also preparing lavish presents.

The heads of these rich enterprises knew that Magic Lord Vincent was also famous for his sub-taboo magic.

Magic Lord Vincent’s sub-taboo magic was known as Gravity Magic. They conducted inventory searches to find relics or magical resources related to it.

They believed that if they could acquire gravity-related resources, they could make a strong impression on Magic Lord Vincent.

...

Silver Tower

Back in my room, I watched the news. I tried switching channels, but every media outlet was airing a special on me. I was impressed by the details they had gathered.

They had collected a great deal of information about me, and all of it was accurate. They had even uncovered details about the Yellow River Academy and the True Elements Society.

The news anchor narrated the story of my journey from the remote Sand Rock Country to the Mage Union. The coverage was so well done that I found myself immersed in the special broadcast.

It stirred up old memories. I watched until midnight, then turned off the screen and went to bed.

The following day,

I woke up early. After getting out of bed, I went through my morning routine.

The routine took an hour. Afterward, I decided to train inside the local facility and left the room.

A few minutes later,

I arrived at the mana chamber facility and stepped inside.

Pausing, I looked around the room. I remembered the last time I was here-I had fought Wizard Celeste back then.

That battle was impossible to forget.

Gathering my thoughts, I shifted my attention back to the mana chambers. Spotting an open room, I walked in.

Meanwhile,

The news of Vincent Carey becoming a Magic Lord remained a hot topic among the Silver Tower factions. The White Silver Faction rejoiced, while the Neutral Faction felt challenged.

The Dark Silver Faction, on the other hand, felt their position threatened. They had no desire to be overtaken by either the White Silver Faction or the Neutral Faction.

Among the Dark Silver Faction, one person in particular was furious: Magic Lord Victor. He despised the news, and he disliked Vincent Carey just as much, having fought him in the past.

He already harbored deep resentment toward Vincent Carey. Now that Vincent had become a Magic Lord, Victor wondered whether Vincent still held a grudge over their past battle.

Yet Victor remained sensible enough not to act rashly.

Since Vincent Carey was now a member of the Outer Hall, he was officially under the Mage Union’s banner. If Victor took action against him, the Mage Union would retaliate instead.

Still, the Dark Silver Faction was not without its own prodigies. The White Silver Faction may have taken the lead for now, but someone from their side was bound to achieve a breakthrough soon as well.

Afternoon

I exited the mana chamber and returned to my room to freshen up. I spent twenty minutes in the bath, and after stepping out, I changed into clean clothes.

Just then, there was a knock at the door. Surprised by the sudden arrival, I went over and opened it.

Creak!

As the door swung open, I saw Manager Lara standing outside.

Raising an eyebrow, I invited her in.

Manager Lara walked in and glanced around the neat, tidy room.

Turning toward me, she said, "Here, take this new storage bracelet. It contains a set of Magic Lord uniforms and your resources."

I accepted the bracelet and thanked her.

"You’ll need to head downstairs to collect your gifts. A lot of people have sent presents for you," Lara said.

"You might even find something interesting," she added.

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows and gave her a nod. I followed her out of the room and headed toward the lobby, wondering whether there would be anything genuinely useful or intriguing.

When we arrived, my gaze immediately fell upon a long, wide table. Congratulatory gifts were piled across its surface, ranging from medium to large boxes.

"Who brought all these?" I asked.

"Representatives from all the allied families and organizations arrived earlier. They all wanted to meet you and deliver their gifts in person, but I accepted them on your behalf," Lara replied.

I nodded in acknowledgment and turned my attention back to the gift-laden table.
