I began to see there were more than ten sites now. But none of them were island locations or the Black Mist Forbidden Land.

When I finished reciting the name list, there were 34 sites on the sea. Talia had marked all the locations.

The old woman had been watching them as well. She also looked at the map details. She didn’t know what the masked man wanted to know.

"I’m looking for a resource site. But it is not located under the sea; it’s an actual island," I said to them.

The old woman said, "If you are looking for an island, then unfortunately we cannot help you."

"It’s because there are no islands nearby. You might have to go deeper into the sea," she added.

"Yes, it’s true," Talia said.

"Is there anyone who went deeper to explore the sea?" I asked.

The old woman’s eyes flickered. Her expression slightly shifted. But it didn’t go unnoticed by my eyes.

I used the system to check her emotions.

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. The zero smoke was hovering near me.

"There are people who went before, but none of them returned. Since then, others have stopped going for exploration," Talia said.

But the old woman didn’t say anything. Yet the intel I got in the Silver Tower was inconsistent with Talia’s words.

"Alright, since there is no information, we can leave," I said to them before giving the device back to the old woman.

The old manager said, "It was nice to see you. If you need something else, you can always come back."

After saying that, the manager left the room. Only Talia and I remained in the room.

"Let’s go," I said to her.

Talia left the room first and headed to the exit.

I turned towards the red smoke and said, "Follow the manager. She is hiding information. Try to collect if they have information on the Black Mist Forbidden Land, and come back at midnight to report."

The red smoke then left the place. It went towards the manager.

Then I headed to the exit as well. I walked past the female staff. I nodded to her before stepping out of the store.

I saw Talia waiting for me. Then we went back to her family in the car. I had already agreed to take a look at her father.

When the car returned to the Ironvale Family, we stepped out of the car. This time, I saw a lot of people standing outside the mansion.

"They are my family members," Talia said.

"Let’s go and check your father’s condition," I said to her.

"Okay," Talia replied. She then took me towards the mansion. Her family members immediately surrounded us.

They wanted to know what was going on. Talia spoke to them nicely before bringing me inside the mansion.

The family members tried to see through me. But they felt a sense of crisis that made them stop their actions. They didn’t bother the two of us anymore.

After getting inside, we took the stairs to reach the top floor. The family members then entered the room. They saw the duo going to the top floor.

They didn’t know what was going on. Some of them could guess that it was related to Family Head Roland.

We walked into the room. I saw a slightly older man and woman. The man was lying on the bed. The woman was sitting next to him and taking care of him.

Talia introduced her father and mother to me.

"Hello, I’m Frank," I said to them.

"Hello, Wizard Frank. Thanks for bringing my daughter back to the family," Roland Ironvale said.

"It’s okay. It’s not a big deal," I replied.

"It’s a big deal for us. The neighbouring country’s wizards had tried to attack her before," Florence said.

"I understand. She is helping me, so I’m helping her out," I said to them.

I noticed that the Family Head was a Magic Lord and his wife was a Supreme Wizard. Who could have injured him?

"Did you give him the healing herb?" I asked Talia.

"Yes, but it clearly didn’t work for some reason," Talia replied.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. Now it was time to check the condition of Mister Roland.

Next, I turned towards Talia and nodded to her.

Talia nodded her head and turned towards her father and mother.

"Father, Mother!"

"Wizard Frank is going to check your health," she said.

Roland agreed. His wife Florence gave permission as well.

Then I walked to the side of the old man. I saw his body. I could see black veins were trying to pop out. It reminded me of old memories.

Talia and Florence were looking towards the masked man. Talia was waiting with bated breath.

Her Grade-11 Healing Herb didn’t work. Her father’s injury still remained the same. She didn’t know what was happening, so she could only rely on the masked man to save her father.

"System, check the condition of this person," I asked the system in my mind.

His wife Florence and daughter Talia believed him. So he thought that the masked man would believe him. But he was wrong.
