I was resting in the room when I heard the sound of someone knocking on the door. I immediately used the system to find out that Talia was waiting outside.

After getting out of bed, I went to open the door and saw Talia standing outside.

She walked directly into the room and said, "Let’s go. I’m going to show you around the city. Though it’s a border city, there are some places quite useful to you if you are looking for information."

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows. It was not surprising that she had guessed my purpose. After all, I had collected information from her as well.

"Give me ten minutes," I said to her.

"Alright, I’ll come back in a few minutes." After saying that, she left the room.

Right then, I used the system to locate the zero puppet. He was on the top floor. I left the room and took the stairs to go up.

I had no idea who lived there. The corridor looked quiet; it appeared no one wandered outside of their rooms. When I got there, I summoned the red smoke into the corridor right away.

"Come with me," I said to the zero puppet.

The red smoke, which had been hovering in midair, stopped its work and returned to its master’s side.

I returned to the room a few minutes later.

Talia came back again. I left the mansion with her. We went outside and used her family’s vehicle for travel.

The car exited the estate and headed toward the main street. The news quickly reached the ears of the butler, who then reported it to Roland.

Florence was there as well, so they both learned the news. But they were not worried. If the guest were an enemy, he could have attacked Talia on the way; there was no need to come here.

So they relaxed. Roland had given his word that they would meet him during dinner. There was no need to be tense now.

On the other hand, the news spread among the family members. The family members had yet to meet Talia.

They had thought she must be tired from the journey and had decided to meet her later, so they didn’t expect her to leave with the guest. They understood that she was likely taking the guest around the city.

The family members grew curious about the guest as well, as they hadn’t seen him in the hall.

The car was driving along the main street. I started looking at the passing scenery through the window. There were locals dressed in regional attire.

The car stopped in front of a magic shop. We exited the car, and she led the way toward the shop. The red smoke followed along with me.

"It’s one of the oldest magic shops in the city. They buy and sell information," Talia said without looking back.

Hearing that, I nodded. Then we walked inside. The shop was a two-story, brick-style building.

My gaze swept across the place. I saw staff behind the counter and a few customers scattered around. The employees were busy attending to them.

Talia spotted a familiar staff member and walked up to her. The female employee saw Talia and recognized that she was a VIP.

"Young Lady, it’s good to see you here," the female staff member said.

At the same time, I stepped up beside Talia. My gaze fell upon the female employee, who immediately felt a sense of crisis.

She understood that the masked man was another Supreme Wizard. She was a Level-9 Wizard herself.

"We need to discuss something in private," Talia said.

Hearing that, the female staff member understood. She glanced around the room, then led us to one of the private rooms.

Inside the room, Talia sat on the sofa. I sat in the chair opposite her. The female staff member looked toward us with a hint of worry, not knowing why we were here.

She had heard Lady Talia was out of the country.

"Lady Talia, are you here for healing resources?" the female staff member asked.

Hearing that, Talia smiled and said, "I’m here for my friend. You guys sell intel. My friend here wants to buy some."

Watching the whole exchange, I noticed Talia seemed even more interested in the intel than I was.

The female staff member then turned toward me.

"So how does it work?" I asked. "I want to know many things. Especially about the seas."

Hearing that, the expressions of both the female employee and Talia shifted dramatically.

"You never told me that you were interested in the seas," Talia said.

"Now you know. Is there any information available related to the seas?" I asked.

"Yes, we do have some. But what do you need to know about the seas?" the female staff member asked.

"I’m thinking about doing some exploration there. Aside from the land, the seas have far more magical resources," I said to them.

It was a lie, but both of them completely believed it.

"So you are here to find Magic Lord resources. Then you’ve come to the right place. There are organizations that do that kind of work," Talia said.

"We have information on those organizations. If you want to find resource-rich areas, we have a list of those as well," the female staff member said.

Hearing that, my eyes flashed with a gleam. Maybe I could learn about the Black Mists Secret Land from those resource-rich areas.

"Okay. Get me the list of resource-rich areas," I said to her.

The female staff member smiled and left the room to retrieve the device.

"You haven’t asked about the price?" Talia asked.

"Is it higher than auction house bidding?" I asked her.

Talia shook her head and said, "No, but it’s still not cheap. If you are going to spend money here, you might as well give it to me. Then I’ll give you the intel collected by my family."

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

"I appreciate that. But first, let’s check what information they have," I said.

"Okay," Talia replied.
