I didn’t expect the female wizard to recognize me. They must have seen me at the auction while leaving, so I didn’t want to pretend either.

"Yes, I was in the VIP room during the auction. But I’m not interested in the Grade-11 Healing Item. I’m more interested in traveling right now," I said to them.

Hearing that, the female wizard was taken aback. She looked toward the female Magic Lord next to her.

Both of them didn’t know what to say. The female guardian felt that everything seemed normal; she didn’t find any falsehood in those words.

Besides, she looked toward the modern aircraft next to the masked man. She was aware of aircraft prices-it had to be ten times higher than Grade-11 magic resources.

So the masked man’s background had to be extraordinary. The elder then turned toward the young lady and said, "Lady Talia, I think it’s best not to offend this man."

Hearing that, Talia’s eyes flickered. She was a Supreme Wizard herself. Since the elder was saying this to her, she decided to listen.

Talia then turned toward the masked man.

"Alright, we believe you. What help do you want?" Talia asked.

Hearing that, I sighed in relief. There was no need for unnecessary fighting. Then, I thought of an idea.

"I have an empty seat in the cockpit. Why don’t you come with me? You can guide me to the Wave Nation," I said to her.

"No way," the female elder refused right away.

The faces of the followers behind them changed drastically. They didn’t know what was going to happen next.

"We cannot let her leave alone. What if you kill her to get the Grade-11 Magic Resource?" the female Magic Lord questioned.

After saying that, she turned toward the young lady, Talia. She wondered what decision the young lady would make; she was worried.

Talia had the same thought as well. She wanted to help, but she was not naive enough to trust a stranger.

She had the Grade-11 Magic Resource with her. She had to give it to her father.

"I cannot travel with you," Talia said to me.

Hearing that, the Magic Lord and the followers behind her sighed in relief.

On the other hand, I had expected this response. I smiled and took out the storage box.

Everyone’s gaze fell on the storage box. I saw their reactions.

"If you take me to the Wave Nation, then I will give this reward to you," I said to them.

Hearing that, Talia and the Magic Lord looked toward the storage box. For a second, they didn’t know what to do.

"You should understand by now. I’m not interested in your Grade-11 Magic Item. After reaching the Wave Nation, I will give this to you," I said to them.

"If you don’t leave now, it’s possible for others to get here. I don’t think those who attended the auction will leave just like that," I added.

Finally, Talia had a change in expression. The female Magic Lord Elder didn’t know what to say. If she wanted, she could try to attack the masked man, but for some reason she felt it was not a wise decision.

The followers were worried as well. They didn’t trust the masked man at all.

On the other hand, I started getting impatient. I had explained this well, but they were still indecisive.

[Ding! Movement of wizards detected.]

I heard the system’s voice in my mind. My heart stirred.

Just then, the female Magic Lord sensed something as well.

She flew high into the sky before looking in a particular direction. The female Magic Lord felt the presence of wizards heading their way.

It was possible that they were from the auction house.

Talia felt something was wrong. She moved toward the elder to check what was going on.

Seeing that the situation had changed, I glanced at the red smoke around me. Then, I took the raven aircraft and put it away inside the system space.

Talia and the others saw this as well. Next, I turned toward Talia and the guardian. Instead of leaving, I decided to help them out.

I moved toward Talia and appeared beside her. Standing in midair, my gaze was directed toward the horizon.

Talia and the female Magic Lord saw me appear. They were surprised; they didn’t expect me to stay. It was possible that the incoming wizards were the other VIPs who had attended the auction.

The followers also looked at each other. They knew a fight was going to happen next, so they moved behind the young lady Talia, and the guardian.

Meanwhile, the red smoke was still around me. The Zero Puppet was waiting for my order.

I saw a few black dots appearing on the horizon. As the seconds passed, the black dots grew bigger.

It didn’t take long for the wizards to draw closer. Just as they had guessed, these wizards were none other than the other VIPs who had attended the auction.

They had come here with their followers and guardians. There were three VIPs in total, and all three of them were Supreme Wizards.

One of them was a middle-aged man. The other was an old woman-the same old woman who had been bribed by the old manager of the auction house.

The third person was an old man in his sixties. Only two people had brought a Magic Lord-level guardian.

They were none other than the middle-aged man and the old man in his sixties. Both of their guardians were more than a hundred years old.

The Magic Lords were so old that they didn’t have hair on their heads, and their skin was heavily wrinkled. Even the female Magic Lord beside Talia was younger and stronger.

Only the old woman had come without a protector, but she had a few Tier-9 Wizards as followers. The other two VIPs had followers behind them as well.

The total number of followers was around twenty. All three groups were looking toward the female wizard and the masked man.

After seeing the female wizard, they sighed in relief.
