The zero puppet briefed me. The female wizard had escaped. The rest of the people went after her.

I thought of getting information from them.

But it appeared I had missed the chance. Next, I told the zero puppet to collect the valuables from the corpse.

If the corpse had been intact, I could have collected it.

But the spell attacks had completely crushed the bones.

The Red Smoke moved toward the corpse and collected the storage bracelet first. There were no other valuables.

The zero puppet gave the storage bracelet to me. I checked it using the system. Seeing that there was no danger, I placed the storage bracelet inside the system space.

Then I brought the raven aircraft outside. I entered the cockpit, and the Red Smoke entered and occupied another seat.

I started the aircraft. The aircraft hovered above the ground. After appearing in mid-air, I set the destination as per the map. Next, I put the aircraft into stealth mode and autopilot mode.

The aircraft next cruised through the sky. The zero puppet and I began to watch the passing scenery.

After some time, I got bored and thought about the storage bracelet of the Magic Lord. I took the storage bracelet from the system space.

Once again, I used the system to check whether it was damaged or not. Knowing that there were no restrictions hidden in the bracelet, I used my mental power to check the contents inside.

I saw piles of mid-grade mana stones first. Next, there were some storage boxes. It appeared they could be auction items.

I ordered the zero puppet to watch over the aircraft. Then I appeared inside the system space. Inside the blue grid space, I took all the items out and placed them on the ground.

My gaze swept over the piles of mid-grade mana stones. Then I looked over the storage boxes. A flicker of interest appeared in my eyes.

I opened the boxes one by one. As I guessed, inside there were herbal plants and special fruits. I didn’t recognize the fruits, but I could feel the rich mana inside.

Next, I used the system’s probe function to learn more. Then the information for each treasure appeared on the status panel.

Then I realized that they were Grade-10 and Grade-11 treasure items. After going through the items, I closed the boxes. I decided to give them to the members. Next, I went to the Gregor Mansion and summoned everyone.

Patrick, Otto, Hank, and old man Rock appeared soon. Then Lady Caitlin appeared.

"What happened?"

"Did you leave the city?" Lady Caitlin asked.

Hearing that, the other members turned towards me. They wanted to know what happened. I took a few minutes to explain to them. I avoided the matter of killing the Magic Lord.

Then I brought them one by one inside the system space. Everyone’s gaze fell on the various items on the ground-especially the mid-grade mana stones and other treasures.

"Grade-10 Magic Resources," Otto uttered in surprise.

Lady Caitlin picked up the special energy fruit and said, "It’s a Grade-11 Magic Fruit. It appears you got it from the Magic Lord."

Hearing that, my mouth twitched. It was because she had guessed correctly. I didn’t answer her. I told them to take suitable items.

Next, Patrick and Hank picked something useful. Old man Rock found something useful to him too. He picked the Grade-11 Healing Herbal Treasure. The two Magic Lords didn’t have any disputes between them.

The rest of them also got their magic treasures. The mid-grade mana stones were divided equally. Then I brought everyone back inside the Gregor Mansion.

Then I appeared back in the cockpit. The Red Smoke was in the seat next to me.

The raven aircraft was flying forward in the sky. So far, there were no obstacles on the way. When evening came, I slowed down.

I guessed we had already spent several days inside the Market City. But still, precaution was needed. It was the first time I was travelling along this path.

Time passed.

When night came, the raven aircraft was still flying ahead without deviating from its course.

Meanwhile,

A convoy of large four-wheeled vehicles was moving across the ground. There was only a vast open plain in the area. The vehicles were moving fast without obstruction.

Inside the middle vehicle, a female Supreme Wizard and a female Magic Lord were seated. There were wizards inside the vehicles in front of and behind them.

They were followers of the female wizard. The female wizard was none other than the same female wizard who had attended the Market City Auction. The female Magic Lord was her guardian.

Both of them were injured from the battle, but the injuries were not that serious.

They had consumed healing resources to cure their injuries. It would take time for the healing resources to work.

The female wizard felt that they had been moving non-stop for a couple of hours. She felt there wouldn’t be any pursuers. She asked the guardian for her opinion.

The female guardian didn’t want to stop, because she felt the vehicles were moving slowly. They were no match for the speed of Magic Lords.

"We shouldn’t stop. We are already slow," the female Magic Lord said.

"I don’t think they are still pursuing us. It’s been a couple of hours," she replied.

The female Magic Lord shook her head and said, "The allure of a Grade-11 Healing Fruit is great. Healing resources are rare to come across. I don’t think the other forces will give up."

Hearing that, the female wizard didn’t know what to say. But she agreed in the end. She had bought the final auction item for her father, who was a Magic Lord powerhouse as well.

He had been injured in a clash six months ago. They had been trying to locate various Grade-11 treasures.

They had even used one from their family treasury, but it was not enough to heal the injuries of the Magic Lord.

When they got the news about the Market City Auction, they had left their country a month ago to attend the event.
