The cab reached the destination 20 minutes later. There was heavy traffic, and a massive crowd had gathered at the city gate. A massive fight happening outside had instilled fear in them.

I exited the cab and paid the fare to the driver. But I could hear the sounds of fighting clearly. They had to be fighting far away from the city gate.

Yet the sound was reaching here. The driver’s face changed drastically; he was scared. He nodded to me before driving his vehicle away from the place.

Seeing that, I started walking up to the gate. As I got closer to the line, the people standing in line turned towards me.

Upon seeing the reaction of the Level-9 Wizards, the rest of the wizards fell silent. No one said anything to the masked man.

I walked up to the gate. The guards there saw me and wanted to stop me, but I released a slight pressure.

After seeing that, the guards understood and opened the gate. The wizards standing in line had been paying attention to the masked man earlier.

Everyone who was gathered at the city gate heard the booming sound. They knew that fighting was taking place somewhere else.

It didn’t take long for the old man Magic Lord to get closer to the fighting area. Though he didn’t know the young man’s exact whereabouts, he believed he could be heading in the same direction.

Soon, he saw someone standing in midair.

The figure appeared to be the young man. The old man paused in midair, his eyes flashing with killing intent. He didn’t want to give the young man a chance.

He needed to get closer to cast his magic spell, so he moved through the midair.
