Iron Bell City

The raven aircraft reached the area of the next big city. It’s called the Iron Bell City. I stopped the aircraft.

Looking at the huge bell tower in the city, my eyes flashed with surprise. It’s another medium-sized city.

"Everyone, wake up. We have reached our next destination. Get outside," I said to them.

Otto, Patrick, Hank, and old man Rock stood up from their seats. They opened the cabin door. Next, they stepped outside.

They stood in mid-air. The four of them were looking toward the city. It’s another Wizard city. The city was surrounded by walls like towers.

They were not like ordinary city walls; they were all thick. As if an earth elemental wizard had personally used his magic spell to create the walls.

"Don’t tell me we have reached another city under the Magic Towers," Otto raised the question.

Hearing that, the others had the same thought as well.

"I’m feeling a strong earth elemental magic from the city," Patrick said in a calm tone.

Hank was observing the city as well.

Old man Rock nodded his head and said, "It’s true. The city walls were made by an earth magic spell."

Hearing that, Otto, Patrick, and Hank got confirmation.

On the other hand, I appeared outside. I took the raven aircraft and put it inside the system space.

I turned toward the members. I had heard their conversation as well.

"Let’s go to the city. There are only a few hours left before the sunrise," I said.

"Master, why can’t we go to another city? This city seems to be another city under the Magic Towers," Otto said in a solemn tone.

I saw the others had the same reaction as well.

"We already had conflict with the Flame Tower, Green Magic Tower, and now the Water Magic Tower," Patrick added another point.

Hearing that, I fell into contemplation. I looked toward the Iron Bell City. I should listen to their concerns.

But if I didn’t go to this city and continued to look for another city, then the Water Magic Tower would make false accusations.

I should be ready for their game. Then I turned toward them and said, "You guys enter the Gregor Mansion. I will solve the coming trouble."

Otto and the others agreed. They believed me. Then I put them inside the Gregor Mansion. Next, I put the face mask on my face.

I turned toward the city then. I hadn’t informed Manager Lara yet. It was best to let her know. Then I took the device out and called her.

It didn’t take long for her to answer the call. Then I began to share everything from the beginning.

The Water Magic Tower’s scheme was really unwarranted, especially since the Mage Union warned of internal fighting.

"Vincent, did you reveal your original identity?" Lara asked on the call.

"No, they didn’t find out," I replied.

"Good. You can enter the Iron Bell City then. Not all the Magic Towers are crazy. The higher-ups have many ways to confirm the truth."

"Their false accusations won’t work," Lara said on the call.

Hearing that, I smiled and replied, "But I did kill the Flynn Family Head and his butler."

"What?" Lara’s surprise-filled, disbelieving voice sounded from the call.

Then I took a breath before saying, "Yes, I went to investigate the Flynn Family Estate. Their Ancestor Magic Lord’s grave was robbed. Then I found out the Flynn Family Head had already betrayed us."

"He had joined the enemy side. Before I could interrogate him further, he attacked me. Then I had to end his and the butler’s lives," I added.

There was some silence on the call.

Lara then asked, "Did Magic Lord Lisa from the Water Magic Tower find anything?"

"It’s impossible for them to find anything. I collected the evidence before leaving. I want you to inform Lord Charlotte. I want to hand over the evidence," I replied.

Then I heard a huge sigh from the other end.

Manager Lara finally relaxed.

"You scared me right there. You had already prepared everything. Stay there. I’ll make a call to Lord Charlotte. Then I’ll call you back after the call," Lara said before ending the call.

Then I put away the device and began to wait there. I could have brought the Zero Puppet outside, but I didn’t do that.

Who knows who is coming? A Forbidden Wizard could come to get the evidence.

I saw a nearby tree with good cover. I went to the tree and stood underneath it. I began to wait for the callback from Manager Lara.

10 minutes later,

My device buzzed. I took the device and saw it was a call from Manager Lara.

"Vincent, I spoke to Lord Charlotte. I told her about your situation. Since you got the evidence, she said not to worry."

"Magic Lord Victor will be coming to get the evidence. But there is a slight problem," Lara said.

"What is it?" I asked back.

"Magic Lord Victor is from the Dark Silver Faction. He is arrogant," Lara said with worry.

"It’s fine. I don’t think he will attack me. I’m not using my original identity," I replied.

"Anything can happen. Be careful," she said.

"Is he coming now?" I asked back.

"Yes, he left the Silver Tower just now. I told him to go to the Iron Bell City," she said.

"Okay," I replied.

Then we spoke a few more words before ending the call.

Swoosh!

I entered the system space. In the blue grid, the Zero Puppet was sitting cross-legged. Upon seeing me, it stood up and greeted me.

I nodded to the puppet before bringing him outside. I brought the evidence outside as well.

"Zero, did you record the information in the books and notes?" I asked.

"Don’t worry, Master. I have made a copy of it," Zero Puppet replied.

I nodded my head. Then I told the puppet to transform into its red smoke form and hide near me.

The puppet did as instructed. Next, I began to wait for Magic Lord Victor.

I hadn’t come across a Magic Lord from the Silver Tower before, except for the previous group who came to look at the puppet corpses.
