City Lord Elena listened to the advice. Magic Lord Lisa and the Supreme Wizard Rebecca had decided to leave the city.

Rebecca spoke with the City Lord Elena for a few minutes. She knew Elena had a huge responsibility. Now Matteo might cause problems here.

She warned her. She also advised her to make Appraiser Frank and his team leave. They didn’t want the situation to become a problem like the one with the Water Magic Tower and Silver Tower.

Next, Magic Lord Lisa and Supreme Wizard Rebecca left the city ten minutes later. Elena went to drop them off.

When the aircraft left the city, Elena began to go back. She reached the hotel a few minutes later.

She went to the lobby and spoke with the Manager again. She told the Manager to contact Appraiser Frank.

Hearing that from City Lord Elena, the Manager immediately contacted him.

In the room, Otto picked up the call again. When he learned that it was the manager speaking, he began to answer.

Knowing that City Lord Elena was waiting at the lobby and that she wanted to meet Master, Otto agreed to inform Master.

After ending the call, he went to the Master’s room and knocked on the door. Inside the room, I was watching the news as well.

I heard the knocking on the door again. I immediately thought of Matteo and the others. I didn’t know whether they had returned or not.

I went to open the door. I saw Otto standing outside again.

"What happened this time?" I asked.

Otto then explained the situation to me. After learning that City Lord Elena was waiting for me, I decided to go and meet her.

After getting ready, I left the hotel room. I went to the lobby alone. I told the others to stay in the room.

When I got there, I saw City Lord Elena sitting alone. The Manager nodded to me. I nodded to them in response.

Next, I arrived in front of her. I had a full mask on my face.

Elena saw Appraiser Frank and stood up. It was the first time for them to meet face to face.

"Appraiser Frank, I apologize for not meeting you earlier," Elena said in a calm tone.

She was looking at the masked man.

"It’s fine. I don’t know why you have come here," I replied.

"Well, I heard that Wizard Matteo from the Water Magic Tower visited you. I’m afraid that the meeting didn’t end well. If possible, I want you to leave the city with your team."

"I’m afraid he might do something. As a City Lord, I don’t want to get caught in a huge crisis," Elena said in a serious tone.

Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows, because I didn’t give this much thought before. There are factions inside the Water Magic Tower as well.

There are some who want no problem. There are others like Matteo who wanted to create trouble.

I looked at her. I had expected Wizard Matteo to come. Since she was making such a request, it must be known to her higher-ups as well.

Then I thought of the Magic Lord and the other Supreme Wizard. What happened to them? I collected my thoughts and said, "Okay, I will be leaving tonight myself."

Hearing that, Elena was taken aback. She expected some refusal, but the person agreed.

Seeing her confused, I immediately said, "My break is over. I’m going to leave with my team anyway."

Elena nodded her head in understanding. Next, she left the place with relief. I saw her disappearing figure.

I checked with the system that she was not lying. She was worried that a fight might take place here.

I returned to the room next and told the members to get ready to leave tonight. No one asked any questions and agreed.

From the meeting earlier, they knew that if they continued to stay here, a fight could break out here.

They knew that their master was using an alternative identity. It was necessary to maintain the disguise.

Meanwhile,

Wizard Matteo and his friends were waiting outside the city. They saw Magic Lord Lisa leaving the city without them.

They didn’t attend her call earlier. She must have understood their intentions. But they weren’t worried about her actions.

The Water Magic Tower won’t punish them for the Silver Tower. Next, they saw Supreme Wizard Rebecca leaving in her aircraft.

Matteo hated her. If not for the current situation, he would have blocked her.

They continued to wait to see whether the leaving was a deception. When they confirmed that they were not coming back, they started going back to the city.

The only person who could stop them was City Lord Elena. But she was just one person. If she decided to act against them, she wouldn’t be able to stop them.

Soon, the group re-entered the city. Matteo met with the Captain and the guards there. He told them not to allow Appraiser Frank and his team to leave.

The Guards didn’t have an idea, but the Captain knew about the important people staying in the city. The captain didn’t want to agree, but he knew the group was from the Water Magic Tower.

They had more authority than the City Lord of theirs. So he agreed to block them.

Matteo then decided to stay near the city gate. If he wanted, he could have fought them in the hotel. But he called for help. It will take some time for the help to arrive.

Until then, he wanted the guards to block the team.

City Lord Elena was still not at peace. Though Appraiser Frank agreed, she didn’t think the problem would be solved easily.

She then learned the news. Matteo and his team had re-entered the city. She frowned. The worst had happened.

She thought maybe Magic Lord Lisa and Supreme Wizard Rebecca expected it. That’s why they left earlier. They couldn’t control the actions of their own faction members.

She listened to their advice and told Appraiser Frank to leave the city. But she thought it was too late now. She didn’t know what Matteo and his team were going to do.

She didn’t want any clash to occur. Public safety was important, and the infrastructure of the city needed to be protected.
