After entering the room, I shut the door. I used the system to scan the room. The system results came back negative.

Next, I brought the Zero puppet outside.

"We are in the city called Blue Heart City. You can start your work now," I said to the Zero puppet.

"I want to know what’s happening in the city right now," I added.

"Okay, Master," the Zero puppet replied.

In its red smoke form, the Zero puppet left the place through the window gap. I saw the Zero puppet disappearing, but my mind was not at peace.

I still didn’t know the reason for the puppet formation. The wizard must have planned to do something.

If the formation had been activated, anything could have happened. I hope they find something in the Silver Tower. Then, I shook my head and pushed away the thoughts.

I decided not to think too much. I would think of a plan after the Zero puppet collected information. Then, I texted the members, saying that if they wanted to go outside, they could go outside.

Next, I went to the bed and lay on it.

But recently, several businesses were affected. It’s due to the recent threats faced by the Mage Union.

They have mobilized all the Magic Towers to find the enemy. Because of it, many business owners find it hard to enter the Magic City and other satellite cities to do business.

There is also another piece of news that workers are being attacked and injured mysteriously. She can’t control things happening outside the city.

But she told the officials to find the reasons behind the attacks.

She then resumed her work of going through the report. The representatives from the Water Element Tower would come to collect the revenue.

She wanted the report to be correct. If they found anything wrong, then her commission would be affected as well.

At this time, a red smoke entered the office. The Zero puppet didn’t expose itself. It started monitoring the City Lord.

Elder Dana and other elders of the White Silver Faction were in the meeting hall. They were discussing the current situation.

"Our Faction has managed to collect crucial information. It will be enough to convince the other two factions," a white-bearded elder said.

"The neutral faction and the Black Silver Faction must have gathered information as well," a female elder said.

"We should be careful of them. We don’t know how much information they are going to conceal," she added.

"She is right. We should not reveal all the information," Elder Dana said to them.

Hearing that, the remaining elders shared their opinions as well. In the end, everyone agreed to share limited information with the other two factions.

What followed was light conversation. Everyone began to discuss the talented wizards in their Faction.

The Mage Union had restricted powerful wizards from involving themselves in the matter. Otherwise, they would have searched every nook and corner of the outside territory.

"You guys forgot about Supreme Wizard Vincent. He has done a fabulous job. He caught a City Lord who was compromised. Then he found the evidence of the Puppet Formation," Elder Dana said in a calm tone.

Hearing that, everyone quieted down.

"This kid Vincent has gained experience from doing many missions outside. So it is not surprising that he was able to collect intel," the long-white-bearded elder said.

"Well, he is a Sub-Taboo Wizard. Hardly anyone of the same rank can threaten him," another female elder said.

Hearing that, everyone had a smile on their face. Because she was right. But Elder Dana was not smiling.

"Elder Dana, what’s wrong?" the female elder asked.

Hearing that, Dana looked at her.

"That kid Vincent faces threats from the Black Tower. The Forbidden Wizard Remi even went to Crystal City to attack him," Elder Dana said.

Hearing that, everyone quieted down. They knew about the matter as well. It was just that they didn’t expect the Black Tower to be so bold.

The long-white-bearded elder said, "When we confronted the Black Tower, they said it was Forbidden Wizard Remi acting alone."

"But I don’t believe it. It must be their doing," he added.

"I had informed the Forbidden Wizards to take care of him. But he left the city some time ago," Dana said.

Hearing that, the others agreed. Forbidden Wizard Remi is dangerous. He targets the wizards below him.

If not for the Mage Union, the Black Tower’s actions might be worse. They decided to keep a check on them.

It’s possible for the other Magic Towers to make use of the opportunity.

After the meeting ended, Elder Dana contacted Lord Charlotte and learned what was happening with Vincent Carey.

She then learned that Vincent Carey is exploring medium-sized cities to collect intel. She then told her to warn him of threats from other towers.
