While traveling in a flying car, Vincent noticed spies tailing them and instructed Hank to continue driving. To evade pursuit, he purchased a new maroon sports flying car, sent Hank back to Crystal City, and swiftly reached the border, using his Silver Tower badge to pass into the wasteland. Disguising himself as a wandering wizard, he rested under a tree, awaiting a shipment from the Dark Territory. At midnight, the System alerted him to an approaching airship escorted by Magic Lords and Supreme Wizards; he stealthily boarded the deck, confirming no one was outside, and prepared to locate the goods.

Nighttime,

Utilizing the system, I located the goods' position, yet the discovery left me astonished. The items were stashed away in the cabin occupied by the Magic Lords.

My eyebrows shot up in surprise. Storming directly into their quarters to seize the cargo was impossible.

Struggling to devise a strategy, I formulated a simple scheme. Its viability remained uncertain, but no superior option presented itself.

Approaching their cabin, I arrived at the doorway. There, the system verified that my presence stayed concealed.

Knock!

With a rap on the door, I vanished from the location, rematerializing within the Gregor Mansion.

Outside,

The door creaked open as a figure stepped forth. An elder bearing cropped white hair emerged. No one occupied the exterior.

Furrowing his brow, the old man extended his mental energy to envelop the entire vessel. In an instant, he perceived eight Supreme Wizards lodged in the neighboring two cabins.

Those quarters held cargo too, though the vital shipment lay secured in his own space.

Additional anomalies evaded the old man's detection. The captain and his aide stayed vigilant, absorbed in steering the airship. Not a lone intruder surfaced in his scan.

"Was it a dream?" the old man whispered, his forehead creased.

Nonetheless, conviction assured him of the prior knocking echo. He scanned the area anew before withdrawing inside. Moments later, the door parted once more as he exited again.

Swiftly, he employed his senses to probe for other presences. Confirming emptiness, the elder at last retreated into the room.

"What a cautious old man," I remarked in a somber voice. An earlier emergence would have ensnared me in his clutches.

Thankfully, the system supported me. Observing his motions, I saw the old man settle into his chair and shut his eyes.

Swoosh!

I rematerialized outside, a icy spark igniting in my eyes.

Knock!

Once again, I struck the door, the impact resounding sharply this time. The three occupants within roused fully. Before any could emerge, I faded back to the Gregor Mansion.

Creak!

The old man advanced, shadowed by two men of middle age. One possessed a sturdy build, the other a slender frame. Each had freshly attained the rank of Magic Lord.

"What’s going on?"

"I heard a knocking sound," the burly man stated. Taylor was his name.

Perplexity clouded old man Reese. He pivoted to the figure beside him, Connor, the wizard of lean build.

"Connor, use your magic to see whether anyone is hiding in the sky," Reese directed, his voice grave.

At that command, Connor's gaze wavered. He promptly deployed his ability to inspect the environs.

His Magic Rule power revealed no irregularities; the skies harbored no concealments.

Connor's eyebrows arched. Raising his arm, he aimed at the heavens.

Boom!

Suddenly, the tranquil skies roiled. Clouds scattered in disarray.

Boom!

A fierce hurricane barreled through the region. The blaring racket jolted the eight Supreme Wizards awake, propelling them from their rooms.

Beholding the three Magic Lords and the sky's turmoil, they snapped to full alert.

"You guys, descend to the ground. Check whether anyone is hiding," Reese commanded.

Swoosh!

The eight Supreme Wizards departed the deck, dropping toward the earth. Connor amplified his Magic Rule, heightening its force.

Boom!

Yet another thunderous roar echoed as fresh hurricanes materialized.

Any sky-lurking wizards would have perished by now. Elder Reese warded the airship against the chaotic gales.

After several minutes, he announced, "Everything is fine. There is no one hidden in the skies."

Swoosh!

Revoking the Magic Rule power, he restored the skies to calm in a flash.

"Something is not right. We all heard the knocking sound," Taylor cut in.

"Let’s split up and check the surroundings. It could be a powerful artifact hindering our senses," Reese proposed.

Connor harbored doubts. A Magic Artifact would have bowed to his Rule power.

Even so, he expanded his magical reach and quitted the deck. Taylor opted to investigate too, departing shortly thereafter.

Only elder Reese stayed behind. Though clueless to the disturbance, he resolved to remain watchful.

Terror now beset the captain, an ominous feeling urging him to ease the airship's speed.

Reese conferred with the captain, inadvertently abandoning the cabin door unguarded for a brief span.

Swoosh!

The instant he strayed from the entrance, I manifested outside. Solemnity marked my features; these Magic Lords surpassed my prior assessments of their might.

Creak!

I eased the door open and darted within. Instantly, my sight settled on the ornate boxes aligned in formation.

Swiftly, I transferred the contents to the system storage. Having looted the goods, I extended toward the door.

[Ding! Warning! A Magic Lord is standing outside.]

The system's alert rang out, and I evaporated into the Gregor Mansion without delay.

Creak!

Elder Reese swung the door wide and stepped in. His eyes swept the barren chamber, disbelief and alarm surging across his countenance.

"What?" he exclaimed.

Poise deserted him utterly. In its wake, a Magic Lord-tier Coercion burst forth from his form.

The cabin crumbled in the following heartbeat, compromising the airship. Neighboring sections collapsed, and surviving cargo scattered from the eruption's might.

Outside,

The captain and his aide plummeted to the deck. The airship lurched, hurtling downward at a perilous pace.

The Supreme Wizards on the ground reeled in shock; the perpetrator's identity escaped them.

Anticipating a stealthy assailant, they surged toward the airship to defend it.

In a blur, they seized the captain, the aide, and several crew members, conveying them securely below. Other wizards intercepted the descending vessel mid-flight, halting its fatal plunge.

The two Magic Lords patrolling the vicinity rushed back at once, their visages etched with severity.
