God-Tier Fishing System Chapter 708

Her physical appearance and temperament were truly peerless, and she radiated an inherent imperial majesty.
Aside from Liora, Zeon had also seen his realm surge to new heights, reaching the level of an Upper Supreme.
The foundations of the Great Verdant Imperial Family were undeniably profound and terrifying.
Seeming to pick up on Ethan's inner thoughts, Onyx spoke directly into his mind.
"Listen, kid, these individuals carry the bloodline of a Great Emperor. Once they integrate their clan's Ultimate Inheritance with their Ancestral Mark and inherent bloodline power, their cultivation realms experience rapid, explosive growth."
"You, however, are a different case entirely. You possess no such backing. Because you have cultivated to this point solely through your own innate talent and rigorous effort, you are a truly peerless monster. Up to this day, I have yet to encounter a human who possesses more talent than you."
"I honestly didn't think you were capable of paying anyone a compliment," Ethan teased with a smile.
"Ahem. Naturally, those of average quality do not catch my eye. As for you, I suppose you qualify," the Onyx Orchid answered, attempting to sound profound.
A Great Emperor's bloodline combined with their inheritance is truly a formidable advantage, Ethan pondered.
Yet, he felt no trace of envy.
He simply reflected on how cruel the world can be; sometimes, one's origins decide everything.
Many are born with absolutely nothing, while others, like the descendants of Great Emperors, arrive in this world gifted with everything.
Regardless of their starting point, as long as one remains committed to their core self and pursues their objectives, success will eventually follow.
"Zeon, it has been a long time. I was surprised to run into you today," Ethan said with a grin.
"Maybe it is just our destiny," Zeon laughed, stepping forward.
"Ethan, that man over there happens to be your father-in-law," Zeon added, winking as he gestured toward the group.
"Father-in-law?"
Ethan turned his gaze toward Tiberan.
The middle-aged man carried himself with an unusual grace, and his features were striking, bearing a noticeable resemblance to Senior Sister Althea. He had to be the Head of the Riverborn Clan.
However, now was not the time for formal introductions with Tiberan.
"What brings you to this place?" Ethan inquired.
"The gates to the Ice Field Demon Caverns are opening soon."
"My sister and I decided to come and enjoy the spectacle."
"We were merely passing by when we witnessed the Moonfall Clan launching a vicious attack against the Riverborn Clan. Since the Eldest Miss of the Riverborn is an old acquaintance of yours, I decided to intervene," Zeon explained.
"I understand. Thank you for your help."
"Why are you thanking me? We are brothers, aren't we?" Zeon replied, draping his arm over Ethan's shoulder.
"You have taken some damage. Take these, move aside, and recover. Leave the rest to me."
Ethan handed two jade vials along with several bottles of Green Lemon Tea to Zeon.
"Are these healing pills? Do you have more than me?" Zeon asked, his competitive instincts immediately waking up.
"Maybe not more in quantity, but definitely superior in quality."
"I find that hard to believe." Zeon swallowed a pill and eyed the strange vials in his hand with suspicion.
"What is this junk? It looks yellowish and repulsive."
"It is Green Lemon Tea. You will understand its value once you taste it."
"Whatever, then."
Zeon popped the lid and took a large swig.
An incredible flavor exploded across his palate. A massive, surging medicinal power flowed into his meridians, replenishing his Qi while rapidly knitting his wounds together.
Simultaneously, Ethan reached out, a soft cyan glow washing over Zeon.
A warm, soothing sensation enveloped his entire frame. The light seeped into his internal organs, accelerating the repair of his severe internal damage.
"What power is this? It is truly miraculous," Zeon said, his face a mask of shock.
"Stop wasting time and go recover on the sidelines."
With a light shove, Ethan pushed Zeon away from the fray before turning his attention to Liora.
"Princess Liora, it has been quite a while."
"It certainly has. In only two and a half years, you have already reached the Upper Supreme realm, and your current combat prowess is completely unfathomable. Young Master Ethan, you are truly a rare and peerless genius," Liora noted, studying him carefully.
When she first encountered Ethan, she knew the young man was something out of the ordinary.
While his cultivation realm may have grown at a slower pace than her own, his tangible fighting ability was clearly not inferior.
Anyone capable of shattering Lucien's assault in a single movement could not be ignored. At the very least, he displayed combat strength consistent with a Perfect Supreme.
To wield the power of a Perfect Supreme while only at the pinnacle of the Upper Supreme realm—a feat previously thought impossible—had, in fact, been achieved. It was truly difficult to believe.
She had looked into Ethan's past.
Coming from humble beginnings, he climbed through the ranks of the Azure Origin Dao Sect, eventually revealing his brilliance to the world and unifying the Skyreach Territory.
On the surface, she appeared the stronger of the two.
Yet, in terms of sheer talent and steel, she realized she could not compare.
Without her own bloodline and the Great Emperor inheritance of her Sect, she certainly would never have reached the summit Ethan now occupied.
An Upper Supreme capable of fighting outside their weight class against a Perfect Supreme? Who else in this world could make such a claim?
"Princess Liora is far too kind. Compared to your greatness, I am still lacking," Ethan replied with humility.
The arrival of Ethan and Liora caused the fighting to cease momentarily, drawing every gaze toward them.
Not far away, Lucien's expression darkened as he saw Ethan chatting and laughing with Princess Liora so casually.
A piece of Upper Supreme trash daring to get close to Princess Liora was nothing short of inviting death.
Liora was his destined Dao Companion; she belonged to no one but him, Lucien.
"Kid, I asked you a question earlier. Have you gone deaf?" Lucien demanded in a chilling tone.
Ethan turned his head toward him.
He was a Perfect Supreme with immense combat power, seemingly even more dangerous than the Werner he had battled earlier. Given his youth and obvious arrogance, this was surely the Moonfall Clan Holy Son that Ryan had warned him about.
"And what if I did hear you?" Ethan countered with a smile.
"What if?"
"State your name. I do not waste time killing nameless nobodies."
"I am Ethan. I invite the Holy Son of the Moonfall Clan to enlighten me," Ethan stated indifferently.
Lucien's expression faltered.
The boy was clearly baiting him. Could he really be the Star of Calamity mentioned by the elder High Priest? But how could someone at the peak of the Upper Supreme realm be a threat to the destiny of the Moonfall Clan?
Lucien quickly dismissed the thought.
"Enlighten you?"
"Does a piece of Upper Supreme trash really think he is worthy of my blade?"
"You really have no sense of your own worth," Lucien remarked, crossing his arms with a look of utter disdain.
"The members of the Moonfall Clan are as arrogant as the rumors suggested."
