The chains tightened around the Demon’s body, and the holy energy immediately began burning through its demonic aura.

The Demon growled and for a moment, it remained completely still.

Then its muscles suddenly tensed.

The chains began to tremble and soon, Elysara’s expression changed.

She had expected the Demon to struggle, but she hadn’t expected the holy chains to shake so violently.

"Hold it!"

She poured more holy energy into the technique.

The golden chains brightened, wrapping around the Demon even tighter.

Yet the Demon still didn’t fall.

Its head slowly lifted, and its eyes glowed with chilling red light.

A terrifying pressure suddenly erupted from its body.

Boom!

The entire chamber shook.

The formations carved into the floor activated simultaneously, preventing the shockwave from damaging the surrounding walls.

The six Priests were forced to take several steps backward.

Even Asad’s expression changed slightly.

The Demon Lord had been weakened to an incredible degree.

Its body was covered in wounds, its soul had been damaged, and its demonic energy was nowhere near its peak.

He had already known that the Demon Lord was powerful, but seeing it resist a Priest’s holy technique after suffering such severe injuries still surprised him.

The Demon wasn’t even fighting seriously.

It was simply breaking the restraints because they were in its way.

"Don’t underestimate it," Asad said calmly.

The six Priests looked at him.

"Even now, it’s considerably stronger than most Demons we’ve encountered."

The Demon glanced at Asad.

"Master told me not to harm them... But these restraints are irritating."

Asad couldn’t help but smile.

"Then fight properly. Just don’t kill them."

The Demon nodded.

"Understood."

The moment those words left its mouth, its body disappeared.

"What?!"

Caedryn barely had time to react as the Demon appeared directly in front of him.

Its fist stopped only a few centimeters from his face.

A powerful gust of wind exploded outward from the impact.

Caedryn was sent flying backward despite never being directly struck.

Orwyn immediately raised his hands.

"Divine Barrier!"

A golden barrier appeared between the Demon and the other Priests.

"Don’t let it reach the others!" Elysara shouted.

Vaelin stepped forward as golden light erupted from his body as he activated his purification technique.

A wave of holy energy swept across the chamber. At the same time, the Demon’s movements slowed.

Its demonic energy visibly weakened under the pressure.

"This is our chance!"

Aera immediately threw several vials of Holy Water toward the Demon. The glass containers shattered against its enormous body, splashing the blessed liquid across its chest and shoulders. Almost immediately, smoke began rising from its skin as the Holy Water burned through the demonic energy surrounding its body.

Caedryn followed closely behind. He drew several blessed silver needles and launched them toward the Demon, but this time, the creature didn’t bother dodging. It simply raised one arm and allowed the needles to strike its flesh.

Holy energy immediately spread through the wounds, and the Demon lowered its gaze to examine the needles embedded in its body. After a brief pause, it calmly pulled them out and tossed them aside.

To Caedryn’s surprise, the wounds began closing almost immediately.

"It regenerated..."

"Even after being exposed to Holy Water?" Miravel asked.

The six Priests exchanged glances.

There was no doubt that their attacks were effective. The Holy Water had burned through the Demon’s demonic energy, while the blessed silver needles had further disrupted its body. However, even after suffering those attacks, its natural regeneration remained frighteningly fast.

Miravel stepped forward.

"Then we need to suppress its regeneration."

She raised both hands, and a soft golden light spread throughout the chamber. Rather than attacking the Demon directly, the holy energy gathered around its wounds and slowly seeped into its body.

The Demon suddenly stopped moving..

"How much power does this creature have?"

Asad remained silent as he continued watching the Demon carefully.

The answer was becoming increasingly obvious.

It was far stronger than he had expected.

Even after being nearly killed by more than a hundred Demon Hunters, severely injured, weakened, and having its soul damaged, the Demon Lord was still powerful enough to withstand the combined attacks of six newly ordained Priests.

And the most frightening part was that it still wasn’t using its full strength.

Asad’s eyes narrowed.

Orwyn’s face turned pale as he poured more holy energy into the barrier.

"I can’t hold it for much longer!"

"Then we’ll stop it together!"

Elysara immediately stepped forward, and the other five Priests followed her without hesitation.

The six worked together almost instinctively.

Elysara’s Divine Binding wrapped around the Demon once more, while Vaelin released a wave of purification energy that suppressed the demonic aura surrounding its body. At the same time, Aera and Caedryn continued attacking with Holy Water and blessed silver needles, forcing the Demon to deal with multiple sources of holy energy simultaneously.

Miravel focused on its wounds, continuously interfering with its regeneration, while Orwyn reinforced the defensive barrier and prevented the Demon Lord’s attacks from reaching the others.

Soon, the Demon’s body was pushed backward several steps as the combined power of the six Priests finally overwhelmed its defenses.
