The energy from a black stone activates a formation, causing the entire Eden Island to violently shake and rise from the ground, revealing itself to be a massive floating landmass. Beneath the soil, enormous, advanced metal structures and mechanisms are discovered, clearly not related to Project Mist or any known government technology. A colossal opening is then revealed on the side of the floating island, exposing a gigantic facility with a large metal door.

As they were thinking of exploring the insides of this mysterious floating island, they soon realized that some time had already passed.

Ding!

The familiar sound immediately caught Tundra’s attention.

He wasn’t the only one who heard it.

The notification appeared before the eyes of every Survivor who had participated in the Abyssal Invasion.

For a moment, the entire world seemed to fall silent.

Then, a series of notifications appeared.

[ Attention, Survivors! ]

[ The Global Event: The Abyssal Invasion has officially ended. ]

[ Duration: 72 Hours ]

[ The Demonic Gate has been closed. ]

[ The dimensional scars connected to the Abyss have been destroyed, sealed, or rendered inactive. ]

[ The invasion of the Abyssal Forces has been successfully repelled. ]

[ All surviving participants who endured the Abyssal Invasion have fulfilled the basic event requirements. ]

[ Reward Distribution is now beginning. ]

Tundra’s eyes immediately narrowed.

"It finally ended... But isn’t it a bit too early?"

"Probably by three or four hours."

"Mhmm... This is interesting."

Still, they were already quite aware that the battle was over after the dimensional scar nearby was dismantled.

But seeing the System officially announce the conclusion of the event still felt different.

The Abyssal Invasion had lasted for three entire days.

During that time, countless shelters had been attacked by Demons and Abyssal Beasts. Some Survivors had fought against small groups of Imps, while others had been forced to face Demon Knights, Warlocks, and even Demon Generals.

The strength of the invasion had varied depending on the shelter.

But regardless of how difficult their battles had been, the entire world had now reached the same conclusion.

The Abyssal Invasion was over.

Tundra glanced toward the floating island beneath his feet.

He couldn’t help but feel that the timing was strangely appropriate.

The Abyssal Invasion had ended at almost the exact moment that Eden Island had awakened.

Perhaps it was only a coincidence.

Or perhaps... Tundra’s eyes narrowed slightly as he considered the possibility.

Before he could think about it further, another series of notifications appeared.

[ Event Participation Reward ]

[ All Survivors who have successfully endured the Abyssal Invasion have received the Title: Abyssal Survivor. ]

[ The Global Contribution Rankings are now being calculated. ]

[ Contribution Points have been recorded based on the following factors:

Demons Defeated, Shelter Defense. Survivor Protection, Structural Damage Prevention, Demon General Elimination, Special Contributions, and Hidden Quest Completion. ]

Tundra’s expression immediately changed.

"Nice... I probably have something good, right?"

Tundra wasn’t sure how many Contribution Points he had accumulated, but considering everything that had happened, he was certain that the number wouldn’t be small.

Of course, he didn’t think that he would get the Number 1 in the ranking, but he was hoping that he was up there.

He had personally participated in the battle against three Demon Generals, he had dealt the final blow to Draveth, he had helped defend the Mist Shelter, and although he had not intended to do so, he had also completed a Hidden Quest connected to the Abyss.

[ Global Contribution Rankings are being calculated. ]

[ Top 100 Contributors will receive the reward: Abyssal Crystal. ]

[ The Top 10 Clans will receive an additional reward: Obsidian Banner. ]

[ The 1st-Ranked Clan will receive the special reward: Eternal Abyss Core. ]

[ The Eternal Abyss Core can permanently upgrade one Shelter into a Demon-Resistant Fortress. ]

Tundra’s expression immediately became serious.

The Eternal Abyss Core.

That was the reward that could permanently transform a shelter.

Considering how dangerous the Abyssal Invasion had been, the value of such an item was obvious.

A Demon-Resistant Fortress would not only be useful during another Abyssal invasion. It could potentially become one of the most important strongholds in the entire world.

Tundra immediately thought of Shane.

If the Eternal Abyss Core could upgrade a shelter, probably this Eden Island or others, then its value would be enormous.

However, there was still one more notification.

[ Attention, Survivors! ]

[ The Abyssal Invasion has ended, but the threat of the Abyss has not been completely eliminated. ]

[ Dimensional scars may appear again in the future. ]

[ The existence of the Abyss remains unknown. ]

[ Survivors are advised to remain vigilant. ]

Tundra’s expression immediately became strange.

However, before Tundra could think about it any further, another notification appeared.

[ Global Contribution Rankings have been finalized. ]

Tundra’s expression immediately changed.

The rankings were here.

A few hours ago, the Floating Fortress was already moving at full speed when Shane finally arrived.

He had received the report only a few minutes earlier, but the situation had already become far more serious than he had initially expected.

Three Demon Generals had appeared in the sky above the battlefield.

Unlike the Demon Generals that had attacked the other shelters, these three had wings, allowing them to fight freely in the air and avoid many of the defensive weapons positioned on the ground. Their ability to fly had also made them particularly troublesome for the Floating Fortress, which had been forced to rely on the Skybreakers of the Valiant Mech Series to intercept them.

Unfortunately, the battle had not gone well.

Of the five Skybreakers deployed to fight the Demon Generals, three had already been taken down.

It was a huge casualty on their side.

"We can handle the Demons here... Please help the Skybreakers!" Edwin said as he saw Shane.

"Alright!"

Shane didn’t say anything else.

He simply stepped forward, and a powerful energy immediately surged through his body as his Flight Skill activated.

WHOOSH!

The next moment, Shane’s body shot into the air.

Shane soon saw the battle unfolding in front of him.

The three Demon Generals were indeed fighting directly outside the Floating Fortress.

One Skybreaker was locked in close combat with a massive Demon General whose body was covered in black scales. The creature possessed a pair of enormous wings and was swinging its claws against the Mech’s armored body...

While doing this, they were also avoiding the Fortress’s line of fire so perfectly!

The other Skybreaker was attempting to keep its distance from the remaining two Demon Generals, firing one weapon after another while desperately maneuvering through the air.

Unfortunately, it was obvious that the Mech was already reaching its limit!
