Alora arrived at Eclipse Domain gravely infected by a Lord-tier zombie virus, contained but evolving despite the Aegis Serum. Anna, supported by elven healers, aided her internal battle against the infection, but potions and blessings only delayed it. Desperate, Anna transported Alora through a portal to Blue Haven Shelter's Vital Capsule, which activated and began purging the darkening veins as her condition stabilized.

"Vital Capsule… It's really working… Just what kind of technology is this?!" One healer burst out, barely able to contain her thrill.

Murmurs suddenly filled the chamber as the rest of the medical team crowded nearer to the capsule, eager to observe the changes…

Others kept their gazes locked on the data flashing across the nearby screen.

They observed how the blue fluid within the capsule throbbed in rhythm, nearly matching Alora's heartbeat.

Within mere moments, the dark veins across her skin began to vanish steadily—a sight none had witnessed before.

"This is incredible," another murmured. "We've tried every potion, serum, and mana blessing available. Nothing could hold back a Lord-tier infection like this. Yet… this capsule is cleansing it."

An elven healer placed her palm on the glass and gave a nod…

"Exactly. It's not merely mending her body. I sense it… It's incinerating the toxic energy outright. That's beyond medicine. It feels like something transcending alchemy."

A human physician shook his head, stunned. "I figured it only sped up wound healing. Turning weeks into minutes… But purging deadly toxins, steadying the Aura, and even quelling necrotic forces from a Lord Tier? This exceeds everything we knew."

Yet another healer muttered, "I'd love to remain and research this… Cryochambers in New Genesis sustain life, but don't cure. This… stands apart. We need to learn more, perhaps replicate them later… or market to major clans."

Anna gave a helpless smile at their awe, though her focus stayed glued to the control panel.

She had witnessed the Vital Capsule operate before, yet even she hadn't anticipated such a powerful effect.

"Cloud's enhancements… they went far beyond tweaks. This A.I. must have overhauled the capsule's fundamental operations. It's no longer a basic healer… I sense it."

As anticipated, the elves traded looks. They couldn't conceal their longing for the device...

"If it eradicates even the corrupting energy… then it battles corruption head-on. This could revolutionize treatments for infections, curses, and Aura imbalances."

A younger healer concurred. Still, his mind lingered on another concern.

'It seems like beholding a miracle. But miracles demand payment. What if the capsule falters midway? What if it shatters her Aura entirely?'

Naturally, he kept silent, unwilling to seem negative about the situation.

Soon silence returned to the room as they monitored Alora's breathing, her features easing for the first time post-battle.

Undeniably, the capsule worked diligently to rescue their cherished ally…

One elven healer breathed in hushed awe, "Technology outshining mana for the first time. It's… humbling."

Another agreed with a nod. "Should this reach other shelters, with more capsules produced… we could wield a true defense against zombification."

Anna permitted a faint smile upon overhearing their words.

The Vital Capsule kept humming gently, steadily mending Alora.

Regrettably, none could predict the duration. Indicators looked hopeful, yet the infection defied all prior encounters.

"Someone must watch over her constantly," Anna declared resolutely to the group.

"Report any shifts right away."

The healers assented.

A rotation schedule formed swiftly. Each would watch the chamber for five or six hours before switching.

Beyond tracking Alora's state… it ensured her safety. The Vital Capsule proved invaluable, and Alora irreplaceable, demanding constant vigilance.

With duties assigned, most departed the chamber to head back…

Not all hurried to Eclipse Domain, though.

Two elves lingered: Eudora and Cici.

Sharing a look, they mutually decided against leaving so soon.

"Blue Haven Shelter…" Cici whispered, curiosity sparkling in her eyes. "A port town, yes? I'm itching to explore it myself. My tasks are finished anyway."

Eudora offered a soft smile. "Let's wander then. We deserve this calm after the chaos."

Exiting the medical facility together, salt air and ocean gusts greeted them instantly.

Faint yet distinct, the sea's presence lingered close…

"The sea's scent after so long," Eudora murmured, eyes shut briefly.

"The shore's still a hike away," Cici answered, arms outstretched.

"Shelter first."

First visit here, no prior cause to come. Now, regret struck—they should have sooner!

Strolling Blue Haven, crowds thronged the paths, alive unlike other havens.

Peddlers crammed the waysides, stalls brimming with wares. Survivors haggled boisterously for deals.

"Zeustify Coffee shop here too…" Cici noted, spotting the nook…

"Expanding… Not unexpected." Eudora replied.

Indubitably, enticing scents wafted outward.

Patrons lounged at tiny tables, nursing hot brews, chuckling as if doomsday stayed distant.

Briefly, Eudora and Cici entered a realm free of devastation.

Harsh truths dotted the scene, however.

Weapons outlets displayed swords, bows, and magic-infused items.

Signs boasted "Zombie-tested steel" and "Guaranteed Aura-resistant armor."

Posters cautioned on contagion dangers, insisting on antidote pouches always. Ruin never strayed far.

Yet Blue Haven pulsed with energy Eclipse Domain missed.

Street performers strummed melodies, kids darted amid booths, waves murmured nearby…

Something snagged their focus.

"Over there," Cici hissed, pulling Eudora's arm.

Halting at a modest stand nestled betwixt arms dealers. Unlike neighbors, no edibles, gear, or supplies here.

Rather, it shimmered vibrantly.

Jewelry!

Silver and gold chains, gem-studded bands, luminous bangles. The vendor, a gentle-eyed elder, beamed while sorting trinkets.

"Eclipse Domain has none of this," Eudora breathed, eyes rounding.

Cici bent near, fingers brushing a fine chain. "Shelters push garb, rations, arms… jewelry? Uncommon."

The woman laughed warmly. "Enduring means more than combat. It's recalling loveliness. Reclaiming humanity."

Elves though they were, the sentiment resonated.

Eudora and Cici shared a glance.

Months of strife, battles, Aura drills, ceaseless peril had defined them.

Yet this booth stirred anew. Proof they transcended fighters.

Lingering, they donned rings and cuffs, giggling at their reflections in a tiny glass.

"I'll take this," Cici declared, lifting an enchanted silver band.

"It sparks life in me."

Eudora grinned, draping a pendant. "This too. Silly perhaps, but… I crave beauty once more."

Vendor's grin widened. "No folly. In bleakest hours, beauty matters most."

Temporarily, ocean faded.

Infection, zombie clashes slipped away…

Just elves delighting in gems' gleam.

After Mana Crystal payment, chatting ensued as they departed.

"Think…" Cici faltered, face reddening. "We'll find mates? Share this existence?"

Eudora chuckled lightly, gaze dreamy.

"Possibly. You said humans suit you… Bet someone's caught your eye."

Cici halted, blush betraying her.

Truthfully, companionship appealed amid daily dooms in the Zombie Apocalypse…

Spotting more jewelers, they bought extras, stowing safely.

At last, ocean-bound trek resumed…

Shortly, Eudora and Cici hit the coast.

Waves pounded relentlessly, sands yielding underfoot...

"This feels good," Cici stated simply, eyeing the surf's dance.

"Yes! A few extra days here… Ages since such sea views."

Laughter mingled as they savored basics: surging tides, briny winds, pure.

Yet horizonward, focus turned. Five vessel shadows advanced steadily!
