Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world Chapter 629: Going out [1]
Previously on Getting spoiled in a woman dominating world...
Brandon stood near the edge of the bed, pulling a clean pair of pants up over his hips.
The morning light filtered in through the half-drawn curtains, casting a soft glow across the room.
His shirt still lay folded on the chair nearby, leaving his upper body bare as he adjusted the waistband.
*creek* The door opened without a knock.
Charlotte stepped inside.
She paused just past the threshold, and her gaze softened before she closed the door behind her with a soft click.
Brandon glanced over his shoulder.
"...Charlotte."
She walked further into the room, glancing at his body "You’re heading out?"
Eh? Brandon turned more fully toward her and looked at her in confusion "Did you forget you asked for a date yesterday? I am dressing for that."
(A/n: Ch: 606, 607)
A quiet giggle slipped from her lips as she stepped forward without hesitation.
She leaned in and pecked his lips "I know, I was just teasing."
Brandon’s hand came up, catching her lightly as he kissed her back.
"If you know," he murmured against her lips, "then get ready, Big Sister. We’re heading out."
"Mhm..." Charlotte hummed softly in response.
Instead of stepping away, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him closer.
Her body pressed lightly against his bare chest as their mouths met again.
Brandon tilted his head and kissed her properly this time, catching her lower lip between his lips before drawing it in with a slow, deliberate pull.
Charlotte’s breath hitched faintly against him and her fingers tightened at the back of his neck as she leaned further into it.
He sucked lightly on her lip, then released it only to take it again.
When they finally parted just enough to breathe, Charlotte’s eyes were half-lidded, and a small smile touched her lips.
"...You’re going to make us late if you keep this up," she murmured.
Brandon gave a quiet huff of laughter against her mouth "You’re the one who pulled me back in."
"I didn’t hear you complaining."
She leaned in again before he could answer, brushing another softer kiss against his lips.
When they finally parted, their breaths mixed in the small space between them.
Brandon’s hands stayed at her waist for a second longer before he finally loosened his hold.
"...We really will be late," he murmured.
When he shifted slightly, she let her arms slide down from his neck, her fingers trailing lightly along his shoulders before falling away.
Brandon turned toward the chair.
He reached for the shirt resting there as the morning light continued to filter softly through the curtains.
Charlotte’s gaze followed the movement and then stopped.
Her eyes landed on his back.
There, just below the line of his shoulder blade, there was a faint scar, which looks pale now.
Almost blended into his skin after so many years, but she still recognized it instantly.
For a moment she only stared at it as she remembered when that mark was far more prominent.
She was the reason it was there.
Charlotte stepped forward without a word.
She wrapped her arms around him from behind, pressing herself lightly against his bare back as her forehead rested near his shoulder.
Then she leaned in and pressed a slow, careful kiss against the faded scar.
Hm? Brandon stilled slightly under the touch and he simply stood there with the shirt still loosely held in one hand, feeling the warmth of her arms around his waist and the soft press of her lips against the old mark.
Charlotte kept her mouth there for a second longer before speaking, "...It’s faded a lot."
Her arms tightened around him just a little "I still remember when it wasn’t."
"I hated seeing it for so long," she murmured. "Every time I looked at it, I remembered what I did."
Brandon’s free hand came up and rested over one of hers "It was a long time ago."
Charlotte gave a small, almost soundless breath against his back.
"I know. That doesn’t mean I forgot."
She pressed another soft kiss to the scar.
Then her lips began to move higher, trailing slowly up along his spine until they reached the side of his neck.
Her arms tightened slightly around him.
"...It’s been a while," she whispered against his skin, "since I left a mark on you."
One of her hands slid upward across his chest as she gave a slow, firm squeeze.
Charlotte kissed him again right at the curve of his neck.
Then her lips parted.
She sucked slowly at first, and the warmth of her breath brushed along the side of his throat between each pull.
Brandon exhaled through his nose.
The faint wet sound of her mouth against his neck was soft in the room, almost lost beneath the quietness of the morning.
Charlotte pressed closer.
Her body aligned more fully along his back as she deepened the suction before she sealed her lips again and pulled harder.
Brandon stood there with the shirt still in his hand, feeling her mouth move against his neck.
When she finally eased off, her lips left his neck with a soft wet sound.
She rested her forehead against his shoulder for a second, still holding him from behind.
"...There," she muttered.
Brandon turned his head slightly, just enough to glance toward her from the corner of his eye.
The fresh mark on his neck was still warm where her mouth had been.
At that moment, the door opened.
Ravene stepped in and stopped short when she saw them.
Her eyes moved from Charlotte’s face to the faint mark on Brandon’s neck, then a small smile tugged at her lips.
"Well," she said lightly. "Am I interrupting?"
Charlotte didn’t immediately let go, though her arms loosened a little. Brandon sighed under his breath and finally pulled the shirt on properly.
Ravene walked further into the room, "Get ready already. You’re coming out with me today."
Brandon glanced at her, then at Charlotte still standing close behind him.
He reached up and lightly tapped Charlotte’s cheek with his fingers "Sorry, Aunt Rave. I am going out with Char today."
Ravene turned toward Charlotte and muttered, "I’m taking Brandon today, Charlotte."
He smiled dryly to himself ’Obviously she won’t accept-’
"Alright," Charlotte said.
Huh? Brandon was startled to hear this and looked at Charlotte in surprise.
She was always possessive of him and would never let anyone have him.
Well, she did say she is kinda okay with him having other women... but...
Ravene blinked once, then nodded her head and glanced at Brandon "I will be waiting outside."
With that, she turned and left the room.
Brandon kept staring at Charlotte.
"...You’re really fine with it?" he asked after a moment.
Charlotte glanced at him from the side, and there was a faint trace of something unreadable in her eyes, but her voice stayed even.
"I said alright, didn’t I?"
Brandon frowned slightly "That’s not really an answer."
Charlotte let out a soft breath and turned more fully toward him.
"I’m not in the mood to fight over you this morning. And Ravene looked like she already made up her mind."
She stepped closer again and reached up, lightly fixing the collar of the shirt he had just put on.
Her fingers brushed near the mark on his neck for a brief second before falling away.
"Go. Before she comes back in here and starts getting annoying about it."
Brandon watched her for a moment longer.
Something about her reaction still sat strangely with him, but Charlotte didn’t seem interested in explaining further.
Eventually, he gave a small nod "...Alright."
