Katrin closed her eyes, sinking a little deeper into the warm water, completely unaware of the storm heading straight toward her.

A violent explosion rocked the entire mountain estate.

The ground shook violently as a figure crashed down from the sky like a meteor, landing right at the edge of the hot spring. Stone cracked and shattered. Water splashed wildly.

Charlotte stood there, breathing heavily, and her eyes were glowing with murderous, unhinged rage.

Blood, sand, and dust still covered her body from the long massacre inside the tower.

Her clothes were torn and filthy, but none of that mattered.

Katrin’s eyes snapped open in shock.

She sat up quickly in the water "Charlotte...?" she muttered, trying to keep her voice steady, though a flicker of fear appeared in her eyes.

"What the hell are you-"

In a blur of motion, Charlotte crossed the distance between them instantly.

Her hand shot out and grabbed Katrin by the throat, lifting the naked woman completely out of the hot spring with terrifying strength.

"YOU-!"

Charlotte slammed her against the rock wall beside the bath with brutal force.

*THOOM*

Katrin gasped, clutching at Charlotte’s wrist as her feet dangled helplessly above the ground.

Water dripped down her naked body, steam still rising from her skin.

"You gave Lyssandra the stone," Charlotte growled, her voice trembling with pure hatred.

"You sent us to that fucking tower and made me lose my Kael."

Katrin’s eyes widened in panic. She tried to use her ether, but Charlotte’s grip tightened brutally, cutting off her air.

"I... I don’t know what you’re-"

CRACK.

Charlotte smashed her head against the stone wall again.

"Don’t you dare lie to me."

Katrin’s hands clawed desperately at Charlotte’s wrist, but it was futile.

Charlotte’s yellow eyes were filled with overwhelming rage.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Each brutal impact left Katrin’s head bouncing against the stone.

Blood smeared across the wall as her vision blurred and her body convulsed.

With a violent roar, she threw Katrin across the open-air bath.

The naked woman crashed through several stone lanterns and slammed into a decorative pillar, shattering it completely.

Charlotte blurred forward and grabbed Katrin by the hair, pulling her up before driving her fist into her stomach.

"ARGH-" Katrin doubled over, coughing up blood as the punch lifted her off her feet.

Charlotte didn’t stop.

She smashed her knee into Katrin’s face, breaking her nose with a sickening crunch.

Then she grabbed her by the throat again and slammed her down onto the stone edge of the hot spring, cracking the rock.

She threw Katrin through the air again.

The Empyrean crashed through the wooden walls of her own villa, destroying furniture as she tumbled across the floor.

Charlotte followed instantly, grabbing her by the leg and swinging her like a club into another wall.

BOOM!

The entire mountain estate was coming apart.

She grabbed Katrin’s arm and twisted it brutally until it snapped, then punched her so hard in the ribs that multiple bones shattered.

Blood sprayed across the ruined floor as Charlotte continued beating her.

"You think you can take him from me and live?!"

She lifted Katrin by the throat once more and slammed her repeatedly into the ground, creating a crater with every impact.

Bruises covered almost every inch of her pale skin.

Deep cuts and abrasions oozed blood and her ribs were visibly cracked with one arm bent at an unnatural angle, and her face was badly swollen.

Blood poured from her mouth and nose as she struggled to breathe.

"C-Charlotte... hear me out..." she gasped weakly. "I swear I don’t know what she was trying to do with that stone..."

Katrin coughed violently, spitting out more blood.

"I... I owed her a favor, that’s all... I didn’t know she would use it like that-"

THUD.

Charlotte’s boot slammed down on Katrin’s chest, crushing the air out of her lungs and cracking more ribs.

"Ughh-" Katrin let out a choked scream as her body convulsed.

"You think I give a fuck about your excuses?!"

Realizing she had no way of talking her way out of this, Katrin summoned one of her strongest familiar.

The ground trembled and a massive magic circle appeared beneath her as golden light exploded outward.

From the circle, an enormous dragon over fifty meters long with glowing red eyes and claws let out a deafening roar that shook the entire mountain.

At the same time, Katrin forced her broken body to begin healing.

Golden ether wrapped around her injuries, slowly knitting bones back together and closing the worst of the wounds, though the process was agonizingly slow due to the damage Charlotte had inflicted.

The dragon coiled protectively around her, baring its massive fangs at Charlotte.

Katrin gasped for air, blood still dripping from her lips as she looked at Charlotte.

"You... insane bitch..." she wheezed. "Listen to what I am saying-"

As she blinked-

THUD.

The severed head of the colossal dragon slammed into the ground behind Charlotte.

Golden blood sprayed across the ruins as the massive body of the dragon twitched once... twice... and then disintegrated into fading particles of light, vanishing completely.

Katrin’s eyes shrank in absolute horror ’Shit. She stopped the time and killed my familiar, and I didn’t even realize it.’

She took a shaky step back, and her naked, bloodied body was trembling.

"C-Charlotte... listen to me-"

*swoosh*

Charlotte appeared in front of her in a blur, faster than Katrin could even react.

BOOOOOOM!

A devastating punch slammed directly into Katrin’s face.

Katrin’s head snapped back violently as she was blasted away like a cannonball.

Her body flew through the air, crashing through several broken pillars and what remained of the villa’s outer walls before slamming hard into the mountainside dozens of meters away.

CRASH!

Rock and debris exploded outward from the impact point.

Katrin slid down the broken stone, coughing up a mouthful of blood.

Her already swollen face was now even worse with a fractured jaw and even more blood poured from her nose and mouth.

She barely had time to gasp for air before Charlotte was on her again.

She raised her boot and stomped down hard on Katrin’s back.

Katrin let out a choked scream as the force drove her chest into the ground.

"I... I really didn’t know that she would harm your family."

Charlotte grabbed her by the hair and dragged her a short distance before kicking her hard in the stomach once more, sending her tumbling into a pile of broken stone.

Katrin lay there, barely conscious, coughing up blood as her body trembled violently.

Charlotte stood over her, and her fists were clenched so tightly that blood dripped from her palms.

Katrin’s face was a mess as she looked up at Charlotte "Please... I’ll tell you everything... just stop..."

Charlotte’s expression didn’t soften.

She slammed Katrin’s face back into the ground, then stomped on her back with brutal force, hearing more bones snap.

"I don’t want your information. I want you to suffer."

She grabbed one of Katrin’s arms and twisted it until it broke with a loud , then did the same to the other arm.

"ARRRGHHHHH!" Katrin screamed in agony, her naked body convulsing on the ground.

As Charlotte was about to beat her again, she heard a familiar voice from behind.

"...Big Sister."
