Max is held hostage with other students by Donto and his enforcers. Donto demands Max endure a brutal beating without fighting back, threatening the other students if Max resists. Max stoically takes thepunishment, vowing to protect the hostages. Unexpectedly, the university janitor, Aron, intervenes, incapacitating the enforcers and freeing the students, telling Max he can now fight back.
