Terry and the Deer Elders are trapped in an illusion created by the Moon Shadow Magic Array, designed to recall past glories. They believe this is the only way to find motivation, but Rosa attempts to warn them. The array's core flashes red, and Terry and the others fall deeper into the illusion. Later, Leo Ray and his group arrive as the Deer People begin to wake up, realizing they've been freed from the enchantment.

As the deer people offered their thanks, Leo Ray observed the damaged banquet hall and the exhausted faces with an impassive demeanor. "It appears you've all grasped the essence of what transpired," he stated blandly.

Moving deliberately into the dimly lit hall, surrounded by formidable individuals, Leo Ray continued, "Indeed, significant effort was expended, enduring interference from numerous Correctors, to dismantle this foolish charade. However, the pivotal role was not ours, but hers." He subtly shifted his stance, revealing a slender figure among the assembled group, identified by a broken horn - none other than Rosa.

Her complexion was pale from depleted mana, and her breath came unsteadily. Yet, the previous urgency was gone, replaced by a profound sense of tranquility and calm. "Could it be Elder Rosa?" the deer people murmured, recognizing the familiar face and calling out her name in succession.

Surprise rippled through them, particularly Terry and the other elders. A sudden clarity dawned in their hearts. The Human Majesty was correct; the Moon Shadow Magic Array was the core secret of the deer people. While the Human Majesty was surrounded by powerful figures, it would have been impossible to unravel the array's mysteries so swiftly. The situation was self-explanatory.

"Greetings, everyone. It has been a long while. I am no longer an elder," Rosa said, quickly waving her hand and bowing her head. "I apologize for entering this clan leader's castle without permission. I hope you won't mind." Hearing her voice, the deer nobility's expressions turned somewhat awkward. Terry, especially, looked visibly uneasy, clearly recalling the scene of his own ascension to clan leader.

"Rosa, your father acted recklessly, stubbornly opposing the Broken Wing King, which led to such a defeat for us Moon Shadow deer people. Our five elite Tier 5 armies were nearly annihilated!" Terry declared, hands clasped behind his back shortly after assuming the clan leader's crown. He addressed the grieving maiden below with a cold tone, "That man met a tragic end, and he deserved it. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"Uncle, the Broken Wing King acted tyrannically, seizing all ore veins surrounding the Moon Shadow deer people and brutally slaughtering our clansmen. Many miners and guards died in a foreign land. You are aware of this, not to mention his Grand Army pressing our borders, intending to move against us and our allies," Rosa countered, her eyes red-rimmed. She spoke neither humbly nor arrogantly, "Father fought to protect the interests and future of the Moon Shadow deer people. Why do you vilify him so?"

"Still speaking foolishness! He overestimated his capabilities, which is why our Moon Shadow deer people suffered gravely! That Broken Wing King was overwhelmingly powerful, with countless subordinates. How could we possibly defeat such a formidable entity?" Terry scoffed, flicking the sleeve of his robe. "No more arguments. It seems you still haven't learned regret. From this day forward, you are no longer an elder of our Moon Shadow deer people. Leave this clan leader's castle at once, and do not let me see you again!"

Upon hearing this, Rosa bit her lip tightly and clenched her fists. Ultimately, she released them weakly and departed without a backward glance. "Lord Clan Leader," the Grand Elder said, watching Rosa's forlorn figure recede, his aged face etched with a complex expression. "Elder Rosa is a rising star among our young generation of Moon Shadow deer people, and the youngest deer elder since the Blank Era. She is quite renowned within the clan. Isn't it a bit too arbitrary to dismiss her like this?"

"Precisely because of that, I have permanently expelled her," Terry replied, gently stroking the clan leader's throne beside him. "Otherwise, how could I sit here securely?"

...

"Lady Rosa, lift your head. It is they who should bow," Leo Ray's serene voice broke the silence. "They should have been the stags guarding the community, yet they have become the black sheep who nearly destroyed everything. Compared to them, you, who saved everything, are more qualified to stand here."

At these words, Terry and the deer people lowered their heads, their once lofty antlers drooping. After a long pause, the Grand Elder finally inquired softly, "Lady Rosa, the horn on your head, what is it...?"

"Actually, you should all already know, shouldn't you?" Leo Ray interjected before Rosa could answer. "If she hadn't bitten the bullet and broken her horns, she would likely be in the same state as you are now."

"I know many deer people treasure their horns above all else. Yet, Rosa willingly sacrificed her well-being for the community, fighting alone with the Moon Shadow Magic Array. The bitterness and hardships are self-evident. As Guardians, what have you done?"

Under Leo Ray's pointed words, the deer folk found themselves unable to raise their heads, and he pressed on, directing his gaze toward Terry. "Clan Leader Lord, is this the magnificent spectacle you were just describing to me?"

"This..."

Terry found himself at a loss for words, a heavy silence stretching between them.

He was acutely aware that even before the activation of the Moon Shadow Magic Array, the Moon Shadow deer people had been teetering on the brink of despair. Now, ensnared within this illusory dream for such an extended period, he couldn't begin to fathom the pandemonium that must have erupted throughout the entire deer forest.

Overwhelmed by the unfolding chaos, Terry's eyes inevitably gravitated back toward Leo Ray.

He had previously heard tales of the remarkable accomplishments of this Human Young Emperor, and he understood that the latter possessed a rather formidable foundation. In this critical juncture, reversing their fortunes and securing the safety of the Moon Shadow deer people was a task that could only be entrusted to this Human Emperor!
