Broy revealed to Moli that he uncovered the hidden Dwarf Elf Warehouse in the ruins by drawing on information from a similar site in Observation City, granting them a substantial boost in alchemy puppet forces. Leo Ray pondered the implications, suspecting parallel worlds due to the uncanny similarities between locations. As Broy successfully activated the advanced puppets, Serena urgently summoned Leo Ray to the northwest bell tower ruins, where she and Stella reported discovering highly unusual traces amid the debris.

“Hurry, let me see it.”

Leo Ray gave a nod to the pair and moved ahead.

Led by the twin sisters, Leo Ray quickly reached a depressed spot.

Ahead in the depression roughly half a meter deep, scattered broken bricks and stones lay around, while at its center, strange erosion traces dotted the surface densely.

The stones in that spot had fully dissolved, resembling something drenched in liquid, but no wetness was visible anywhere.

Furthermore, these dissolved depressions were connected rather than separate, extending over the whole region and counting into the hundreds.

“Are these the remnants after ‘Corrosion’ gets wiped out?”

Moli crouched down, inspected it briefly, and exclaimed suddenly.

Leo Ray looked at it pensively before nodding in agreement.

Moli had it correct; once destroyed, ‘Corrosion’ transformed into a puddle of stinking slime that was highly corrosive, which evaporated swiftly afterward, leaving behind such a pit.

Having gone through the intense fights in Observation City, everyone in the group recognized these traces well.

“Clear mana residues are visible too, indicating that these ‘Corrosion’ traces were removed not long ago.”

Moli rose to her feet, slapped Serena and Stella on their backs, and declared, “Matching twins, great job, now we can head back for a good rest!”

“This wasn’t done by us though; the traces were present when we got here.”

Serena denied it with a shake of her head, turning to Leo Ray, “Lord, we’ve checked with our nearby kin, and none of them battled ‘Corrosion’ in this place.”

“If not you lot, and not others either, I stuck by the Human Clan youth the entire time and didn’t visit this spot. So who took down this bunch of ‘Corrosion’?”

Moli opened her starlit eyes wide, her expression filled with puzzlement, “From the persisting mana hints, these ‘Corrosion’ vanished within the last half hour!”

With those words, Moli’s gaze lit up, and she burst out, “Ah, I understand. Could a spatial overlap error have brought that former City Lord over? Or maybe exchanged some terrain from over there to here?”

“Unlikely, remember the Deity handled our return teleportation.”

Leo Ray halted briefly, rejecting Moli’s suggestion.

Given its power to produce countless [Divine Stone] and Gate of Truth instantly, plus bringing billions of Lords down here and changing the time flow rate, the Deity’s almighty nature was beyond doubt.

“So what’s really happening? Isn’t it possible others are around?”

Moli cocked her head, confusion etched across her features.

“We can’t dismiss that chance, stay alert and scour the area carefully; more hints might turn up.”

To play it safe, Leo Ray ordered the dispersed powerhouses to assemble first, then directed the search.

Sure enough, after a brief hunt, the group discovered a newly etched enigmatic symbol on a stone slab close to the depression.

The symbol showed a huge eye covered in tentacles, clearly representing ‘Corrosion,’ with a bold cross above the ‘Corrosion’ design that divided it into fragments.

Based on the lingering mana signs, this symbol had been freshly inscribed, pristine and free of dust, no ancient artifact at all.

“This design looks familiar; I’ve spotted it before.”

Moli bent in nearer, craning her neck to study it closely, then her eyes sparkled, “Yes! It’s the badge of the Erosion Eraser!”

“Erosion Eraser?”

At this unfamiliar phrase, Leo Ray told the powerhouses to secure the perimeter first, then inquired, “What exactly is an Erosion Eraser?”

“Hehe, it’s a secretive group that only top-tier first-class powers among the Ten Thousand Clans are aware of.”

Moli placed hands on her hips, chin raised proudly as she explained to Leo Ray, “Recall how I told you our Forest Elves faced ‘Corrosion’ many times? Early on, that’s when we learned about the Erosion Eraser.”

“From eavesdropping on the elders… wait, no, from studying Elf History Books, the Erosion Eraser, true to its name, forms a hidden alliance focused on destroying ‘Corrosion’.”

Moli wagged her head, acting like an instructor, and went on, “Elf History Books record how this group clashed violently with ‘Corrosion’ in our lands without asking us, wiping out huge numbers of them.”

“Heavens, yet another shadowy group?”

Leo Ray’s thoughts instantly recalled the Black Abyss Brotherhood, causing him to twitch his mouth unconsciously, stirring up bad recollections.

Soon, Leo Ray’s furrowed brow relaxed, and he arched an eyebrow, “At least this time, the secret group aligns with our aims; in some ways, aren’t they potential partners?”

“Partners? Human Clan youth, were you paying attention to my words!”

Moli ruffled her hair, looking ready to explode, stressing, “I just made it clear—they barged into Forest Elves territory uninvited and cleared ‘Corrosion’! Uninvited! That’s a direct affront to our sovereignty!”

“Since our goals match, helping clear threats to protect nearby settlements from harm, they don’t have to be foes, do they? You sound so antagonistic toward them.”

Observing Moli’s agitated state, Leo Ray offered a wry smile.

“That’s just your view; Forest Elves handle any popping ‘Corrosion’ with ease, no outside help required!”

Moli lifted her petite face once more, adding, “Besides, do you see the Erosion Erasers as kind-hearted? They go to extremes to annihilate ‘Corrosion’!”

“From my knowledge, starting in the Blank Era, they’ve waylaid our elites repeatedly and razed multiple villages to block magical ley line bursts!”

Moli’s irritation mounted, and she yelled furiously, “You got fortunate this time in this barren underground ruin. In a populated area, imagine the chaos they’d cause!”

Hearing Moli out, those around traded baffled looks.

If they’re that heedless, they sound like major headaches.

“Yet since the Blank Era, no Human Clan records mention any side damage from Erosion Erasers.”

The Grey Elder stroked his chin softly, perplexed, “More accurately, Human Clan annals hold no mention of Erosion Erasers whatsoever.”

Following the Grey Elder’s words, Broy, Crisis, Fanny, and the other leaders nodded, obviously clueless about it.

“Exactly as I explained, it’s info for top first-class forces only, and why they avoid other places or slip in unseen, I can’t say.”

Moli gave a shrug, replying, “In any case, based on what I’ve learned, not just Forest Elves—most top forces recognize the Erosion Erasers, nearly all have battled them hard, and naturally, we Forest Elves never welcomed them.”

“With that in mind, who are the Erosion Erasers truly?”

Learning this hidden group could battle top first-class powers among the Ten Thousand Clans, Leo Ray’s interest deepened, prompting his question.

“Well…”

Faced with the question, Moli faltered and stuttered a bit.
