On the vast, darkened battlefield, Leo Ray's forces, including golem puppets and Gary's flanking cavalry, pressed against a defensive line of heavily armored beastman undead, hampered by their shields and the enemy's Bone Explosion skill that scattered bone shards lethally. As the undead army's numbers and the ongoing chaos in another city space tightened the timeline, the Witch Demon Leader mocked their stalled advance. Leo Ray countered by summoning thousands of low-tier flying undead beasts, which unleashed chaos by dropping invisible alchemy bombs into the enemy formation, igniting explosions that disrupted the ranks. The pink-hooded figure watched in astonishment as flames erupted amid the undead horde.

The man in the pink hood, being an expert on alchemy bombs, had of course come across mentions of them before.

Yet he knew full well that higher-tier alchemy bombs ought to grow larger in size to match their power. For blasts rivaling Tier 5 or even Tier 6 magic, such a bomb would need to be as large as a Fairy Clan member or a Dwarf Elf at minimum. How could one be this tiny?

Sensing the shift in the pink hooded man’s expression, Leo Ray chose not to elaborate further.

This wasn’t your typical alchemy bomb, but rather a fresh invention born from blending ancient Dwarf Elf tech with Earth Technology, crafted by the Dwarf Elves and skilled lords. It had only recently entered mass production, marking the debut success of Earth Technology in action.

Regrettably, my stock was running low, with just over a thousand remaining—mostly Tier 5, and only a handful at Tier 6. Had I more, the witch demon forces would’ve been obliterated by now.

On top of that, one odd thing stood out: these freshly tiered alchemy bombs couldn’t be upgraded, setting them apart entirely from the older versions.

As for the reason behind this quirk, I’m still in the dark, though I suspect it stems from them not originating in this world.

“Still, armed with these innovative alchemy bombs, we’ve got what it takes to swing the battle in our favor!”

As the foe’s neat formation got ravaged by the magical blasts, Leo Ray gave a nod to his command team.

Right away, the golem puppet forces surged ahead in a fierce assault, ripping open gap after gap in the enemy’s front lines.

“Destroy those wretched contraptions!”

In a frenzy, the witch demon leader barked orders for the leftover undead to blot out the skies, but it was far too feeble and delayed.

Even as most of our airborne undead mighty beasts got blasted from the air, the alchemy bombs had already plummeted into the enemy ranks.

With the magical detonations raging on, the surviving witch demons wailed in agony as they dropped, hastening the undead army’s downfall and turning the field into utter chaos.

Thanks to the combined push from our group, it wasn’t long until the golem puppet army had encircled the leftover witch demons and undead, flipping the fight completely from its starting point.

“You human pests have no clue about the doom awaiting you—you’ll be ground to powder amid terror and hopelessness!”

As things grew desperate, the witch demon leader let out a mocking laugh and declared, “Should that master will it, not just you, but your entire domain will end up as a realm of the dead!”

“Finish this madness.”

Leo Ray paid no heed to the enemy’s taunts, instead directing his troops to press the advance.

“You human pests, even in death, I’ll drag you along!”

Letting out a bellow, the witch demon leader charged at Leo Ray alongside the last of his guards.

In a flash, the witch demon leader—whose strength hovered right below Tier 6 Peak—unleashed a crushing presence, his murderous vibe swallowing the heavens.

“You won’t touch His Majesty!”

Frank gave a cold huff next to Leo Ray, deploying that unique force to counter the undead onslaught.

Swept by that unique force, the enemy’s momentum weakened sharply, freezing the witch demon guards and undead in place, isolating just the witch demon leader.

“Young human, you’ve done enough. Leave this puny foe to me.”

The pink hooded man, itching for action, moved up front, his pale fingers brushing the empty air, sending a mighty surge upward that shattered the energy shield cloaking the witch demon leader and pinned him effortlessly in the sky.

“Witch demon, now’s the moment to settle the old blood grudge!”

Old Gary, gripping his enormous blade, unleashed two streaks of silver light through the air, the colossal intersecting waves hurtling at the witch demon leader, carving him in two and dissolving him into a reeking black mist.

Once the witch demon leader perished, our troops swiftly wiped out the rest of the witch demons, restoring calm to the battlefield.

“Fellows of the Broken Valley Alliance, I’ve at last gotten revenge for you all.”

Old Gary’s bony frame shook nonstop, though lacking skin and muscle, no tears could flow.

“Grandpa, all those years of slumber and isolation weren’t for nothing!”

Yoyo broke down in sobs, her mind flashing back to the nightmare before their rest—the ground strewn with corpses, witch demons cackling wildly.

Seeing this touching moment, Leo Ray and the rest couldn’t hold back heavy sighs.

After a brief pause, Old Gary and Yoyo snapped back, remembering the fight wasn’t finished, and steadied themselves.

Old Gary approached, offering a warm thanks to Leo Ray, “My deepest gratitude, Human Majesty, for your aid! Yet the true foe lies onward—allow us to keep fighting by your side!”

Following Old Gary’s words, Yoyo gave a resolute nod, resolve shining on her pale features.

“No need to stand on ceremony, old chief—let’s push on.”

Leo Ray dipped his head in acknowledgment, rallying the surviving golem puppets as they ventured deeper into the shadowy realm.

This area turned out broader than anticipated, and after a brisk dash, the group arrived back at the previous battleground.

“A spatial loop. That demon must aim to keep us caged here until the enchantment fades.”

The pink hooded man’s grave tone echoed.

“Your Excellency, can we shatter this loop?”

Leo Ray creased his forehead and questioned right away.

Leo Ray was well aware that his powerful comrades outside faced a grim plight. Every moment stuck here ramped up their peril.

“Doing it solo would be tough, but a method exists.”

The pink hooded man thought for a second, then stated firmly, “Alright, I’ll dip into my stash—it goes on your tab!”

With a flick of his hand, the pink hooded man summoned a cluster of gray-shimmering magic crystals that hovered in the air.

At this sight, all onlookers’ eyes bulged, for the potent energy vibes and flawless, pure clarity marked them as top-tier space series magic crystals, each one a priceless gem!

“Brace yourselves—I’m starting now!”

As he spoke, the pink hooded man prodded the crystals gently with his magic wand, swiftly connecting them all via a magical formation.

Before long, guided by the pink hooded man’s incantation and command, the suspended magic crystals scattered, sketching out the frame of an enormous gateway.

As the pink hooded man’s chanting intensified, the space inside the vast door twisted wildly, then settled, unveiling a fresh dimension.

Beyond the huge door, eerie white candle flames danced, while surrounding blackness devoured sight, not a hand visible in the gloom.

While Leo Ray and his companions scanned the view, the crystals shaping the door’s edges started fracturing, releasing sharp cracking noises.

“Hurry—I can’t sustain it much longer!”

The pink hooded man, now breathing heavily, pressed Leo Ray and the others.

Hearing this, Leo Ray and his team wasted no time, dashing inside at once with the golem puppets in tow.

With the pink hooded man and the thousands of golem puppets all passing through, the massive door crumbled fully, dissolving into nothingness.

“Is this the demon’s hideout?”

Yoyo scanned the area warily, refusing to lower her guard, and the others mirrored her caution.

Here, like earlier, the magic orb offered scant illumination, as though the shadows feasted on the light.

After rapidly organizing into formation, right as the group prepared to proceed, something shifted.
