Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2613: 1439: Agreement and Return

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
Leo Ray discovers a dormant God Stone, a key artifact for fighting Corrosion, but hesitates to trade high-tier equipment for an item with an uncertain awakening time. Exploiting this deadlock, Sina offers ten rare Holy Crystals capable of housing the essences of Tier 5 powerhouses, which Leo recognizes as vital for saving his dissipating allies. While the market administrator clarifies that neither the stone nor the crystals match the value of Leo's sixth-tier gear, both Loris and Sina begin desperate negotiations to sweeten their deals.

“Oh?”

Leo Ray’s eyebrow twitched upward as he listened to Loris. He gave a slight nod, prompting the other man to elaborate.

“To speak plainly with Your Majesty of the Humans, a highly uncommon underground vein exists at the frontier where the Rainforest Fortress Alliance meets the Desert Alliance. It yields exotic ore, which, if my memory serves me, is exactly the resource Your Majesty has been seeking?”

Gritting his teeth, Loris pressed on, “Beyond the dormant [Stone of God], I am prepared to provide 500 units of exotic ore and the full excavation rights to that specific vein. What is Your Majesty’s perspective on this proposal?”

Leo Ray’s interest was piqued the moment he heard the offer.

He was well aware that Multicolored Ingots, processed from exotic ores, were the vital materials required to level up the Lord’s Mansion. Currently, they were the sole resource he lacked for the upgrade, making their value self-evident.

It wasn't surprising that Loris knew of his needs; Leo Ray had deployed his entire force to track these materials down, and a well-connected figure like Loris would naturally catch wind of such movements.

Combining 500 exotic ores with the ownership of the vein and the [Stone of God] certainly reached the threshold of his requirements.

Even setting aside the potential future output of the vein, the 500 ores alone were a massive temptation.

After all, despite a long and arduous search, the total amount of refined exotic ore collected so far was only 100 units.

Based on previous refining ratios, 500 raw ores would likely yield over 100 units of Multicolored Ingots, representing a massive windfall.

“Very well. Given the sincerity shown by the Rainforest Leader, I shall view this as a foundational act of our friendship.”

Despite the offer meeting his goals, Leo Ray maintained a look of deep contemplation. He allowed Loris to wait in suspense for a long moment before finally speaking: “The transfer of the vein and the ores will be managed by the Administrator.”

With the Shadow Market of the Trade Guardian overseeing the transaction, Leo Ray had no concerns about Loris attempting any deception.

“Understood. Rainforest Leader, please sign this trade agreement.”

The Administrator produced a prepared sheet of parchment, spreading it out smoothly before Loris.

“My deepest thanks to Your Majesty of the Humans!”

Elated by Leo Ray’s consent, Loris could not hide the excitement on his leonine features. He grabbed a quill and moved quickly to finalize the paperwork.

Once finished, Loris threw a mocking look toward Sina, causing the veins in her pale forehead to throb with irritation.

“Your Majesty of the Humans, in addition to the ten containers, I am prepared to surrender two more ore veins!”

Unable to stomach Loris’s smug expression, the restless Sina spoke up urgently: “One of these veins is the source of the ten magic containers, while the other once yielded an incredibly rare Sacred Essence Stone!”

Leo Ray’s eyes flashed with renewed interest at Sina’s words.

A vein capable of producing magic containers was valuable enough, but the Sacred Essence Stone was a treasure he had just been considering!

By securing this rare magical mineral, he could restore the path to meet King West. With the container, he could pull the king from his ancestral slumber, turning him into a functional asset.

“While King West’s power has its limits and his reach is confined to the Coldflame Kingdom, he is a pioneer transmigrator. He still possesses a restricted Lord Interface and a Hint Talent.”

“Even if that Hint Talent is erratic and beyond his direct control, it is still a useful tool to have in my arsenal.”

“Furthermore, the old man has connections with powerful figures in the Outer Region who were vital during the Kael Castle conflict. They might be useful again. Plus, as Ariel Watson’s ancestor, he is technically a distant relative of mine.”

Suppressing these internal thoughts, Leo Ray looked at Sina with a raised brow: “Desert Leader, while those two veins are impressive, they lack immediate stock. The cost in time and labor to extract them makes your offer less appealing than the other.”

“If I am to be honest with Your Majesty, the Sacred Essence Stone I found was traded away a century ago,” Sina admitted helplessly, sensing the direction of his words.

She continued, “I do have a collection of Magic Crystals, though their quality varies. If Your Majesty is willing, I will add 100 mid-to-low grade Magic Crystals to the deal.”

“Then I suppose I can agree to these terms.”

Leo Ray once again put on a display of reluctant acceptance.

While his current stock of Sixth-order Equipment was small, the items he was receiving in exchange were more than worth the trade.

“My original plan was simply to use the Sixth-order Equipment as bait to uncover the truth. Not only did that succeed, but I have walked away with these unexpected treasures!”

Internally satisfied, Leo Ray kept his face perfectly calm.

“I am grateful for your mercy, Your Majesty of the Humans!”

Sina’s beautiful face beamed with pure joy, and her serpentine hair danced with her excitement. Obtaining a full set of Sixth-order Equipment had been her greatest ambition.
