Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong Chapter 2603: 1434: Tit for Tat and Impatience

Previously on Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong...
The Rainforest Fortress Alliance, led by the aggressive Reece, advances toward the Secret Realm Market with the singular goal of seizing sixth-order equipment and crushing any opposition. Meanwhile, the Administrator welcomes the Desert Alliance, headed by the lethal Queen Medusa, Sina, who expresses open disdain for the human race and the rumors surrounding their Emperor. Tensions reach a breaking point within the market as the two rival alliances finally come face-to-face, setting the stage for a violent confrontation under the watchful eyes of Leo Ray’s hidden experts.

As Sina’s gargantuan serpentine form slithered, a dense and palpable killing intent radiated outward. The elite members of the Desert Alliance trailed her like shadows, their presence projecting a menacing aura that filled the air.

In their midst, the gaunt Masked Man vanished without a trace, clearly positioning himself to deliver a lethal back-stab whenever the opportunity arose.

Facing them, Reece and his companions remained undeterred. They lowered their stances and readied their shimmering blades for the impending clash.

Old Susan acted swiftly, chanting a Mirror Defense Magic spell. A brilliant glow instantly enveloped the powerhouses of the Rainforest Fortress Alliance, serving as a vital shield against Sina’s dreaded Petrification Magic.

“Ladies and gentlemen, this is hardly the appropriate venue for a confrontation.”

Just as the spark of battle was about to ignite, the Administrator’s voice lowered as he suddenly materialized in the space between the two factions.

Simultaneously, a large contingent of Tier 6 Market Guards descended. Clad in thick, lustrous brown heavy armor, they emitted an immovable and suffocating pressure.

The Administrator, possessing Tier 6 Peak power, was undeniably the most formidable individual present. Combined with the backing of the Market Guards, his presence immediately suppressed the momentum of both rival groups.

Observing this, the two parties—who had been poised to strike—began to rein in their aggression. While their individual strength was only slightly below that of the Administrator, they knew a direct confrontation would be a difficult struggle.

The primary reason for the sudden de-escalation, however, was their shared wariness of the Bazaar Brotherhood.

Though the Administrator held the lowest rank within the Shadow Market, he was still a representative of that organization and under the protection of the Bazaar Brotherhood. Any conflict involving the Administrator would inevitably trigger a brutal retaliation from the Brotherhood.

In the three thousand years following the Blank Era, several foolish factions had tried to challenge or forcibly raid the Shadow Market for its treasures. All of them met gruesome ends, with many being completely eradicated from existence.

The Shadow Market was famed as a peaceful Trade Guardian, yet its methods were soaked in blood once provoked. Their ruthlessness was second to none, and it was rumored that the direct markets managed by the Bazaar Brotherhood possessed power comparable to Peak Powers.

This terrifying reputation allowed the Shadow Market to remain a dominant force in this land, reaping incredible profits from the Ten Thousand Clans while its status remained unshakable.

Furthermore, regardless of whether the Bazaar Brotherhood took direct action, being blacklisted from trading within the Secret Realm Market would be a catastrophic loss that neither alliance could endure.

The regional Shadow Market allowed them to invite their own alliance members, but through special invitations, they could also bring in powerful outsiders. This was their primary method for securing rare resources and goods that were otherwise impossible to find.

“It is gratifying to see our distinguished guests regain their composure. There will be ample opportunity for combat later; there is no need to rush things within the market,” the Administrator noted with a slight nod as the tension began to dissipate.

He continued, “After all, your presence here today is for the Tier 6 equipment, not for each other, isn't that so?”

“The Administrator speaks the truth; we have come strictly for the Secret Treasures. We cannot allow such scum to ruin our disposition.”

Reece sheathed his Giant Axe, his lion-like eyes casting a contemptuous look at Sina before he nodded. Following his lead, Thomas and Old Susan also withdrew their aggressive stances.

“It is merely a matter of tolerating a swarm of disgusting flies for a moment; I can swat them later without any trouble.”

Sina raised her pale chin and gave the Administrator a nod. “Everything shall be as you, Administrator, command.”

Following Sina’s declaration, the warriors of the Desert Alliance stowed their weapons, and the Masked Man reappeared among them.

“I appreciate your cooperation, esteemed guests.”

The Administrator signaled the Market Guards to withdraw and began to lead the way. “Please, follow me. The owners of the featured items have been expecting you.”

“I would be most appreciative, Your Excellency Administrator.”

A look of keen interest crossed Reece’s lion face. He completely disregarded Sina’s presence as he led his group directly behind the Administrator.

“I am quite impatient myself,” Sina remarked. She led her followers right behind the others, and while she ignored the people, her snake-hair remained fixated on the Rainforest Fortress Alliance, flicking red tongues and maintaining a cautious gap.

As they moved forward, it was clear that while blood wasn't being spilled yet, the air was heavy with potential violence. Their internal energy remained at a boiling point, each side staying hyper-vigilant against the other.

“Chief, isn’t today’s featured equipment a perfect fit for your Tier 6 Giant Axe and Plate Armor? Why are these others trying to join the fun?”

Glancing toward the nearby Desert Alliance, Old Susan remarked mockingly, “Some people simply must stick their noses where they don't belong. Truly shameless.”

Refusing to let the comment pass, the Masked Man spoke up to Sina, “Your Majesty, that old hag is truly without shame. Aren't these highlight items supposed to be for your Tier 6 Wand and Magic Robes? From where did this other equipment supposedly appear?”
