Endless Evolution: Last Star Chapter 1912: The Green Apple and the Long Hair

Whooosh! Whoooosh! Whoooosh!

Adam leaped from one tree to another, making his way through the golden forest. He didn’t have a map, but he knew he had to keep moving forward. Ergander had no reason to lie, especially not after everything he’d told him.

"The Fallen Amber Sun... So two True Lords once fought there? I’ve seen their power before, but it seems neither of them died in that battle."

This was important to Adam because he had realized one thing from his conversation with Ergander.

"The energy left over from their battle is powerful enough to transform the entire area. But what would have happened to this place if the body of one of them had remained there? The changes would have been far more significant, wouldn’t they?"

Strangely enough, Adam then thought of Queen Elisa, or, more precisely, Heaven Island, where her crystal and tree were located.

Adam remembered his first visit to Heaven Island well. It felt to him as if he had ended up in some part of the Dead Lands, since energy crystals were growing out of the ground and the energy density was high.

"So does this work with both the Phantoms and the monsters? Also... the artifacts too? At the same time, most of Queen Elisa’s aura is contained within her crystal and doesn’t escape. What would have happened if it weren’t for that crystal and tree?"

Adam had many questions as he realized this was an important secret of the world, and that once he became a Second-Rank Phantom, he would be able to get answers to his questions. At least, that’s what he hoped.

"Tsk." Adam clenched his teeth as he picked up speed. "What if I’m being too naive? Even if I become a Second-Rank Phantom, will that really give me access to all the secrets?"

Recently, Adam had realized that the real secrets weren’t in the database. It wasn’t enough to have the right access level.

On his way to the Fallen Amber Sun, Adam had plenty of time to reflect on the secrets and questions to which he still had no answers.

After a while, Adam shook his head and took a deep breath.

’Alright, now I need to focus on the Bottomless Void. Only after I find it will I be able to take the next step.’

Adam sped through the forest in a shadow.

He moved low to the ground instead of flying, as he didn’t want to draw attention to himself. Ergander had done him a favor by telling him about the Befallen Crown members wandering around.

Adam had become much stronger since arriving in the Tarnished Lands this time, but it still wasn’t enough to fight against the Befallen Crown.

This faction had many flaws and internal conflicts throughout the world, but no one doubted their strength. They didn’t recruit weaklings into their ranks, everyone knew that.

Soon, the amber fields appeared in the distance, with tall trees bearing black bark and bright crowns.

Adam smiled as he sensed that the Fallen Amber Sun was already near.

Still, something was troubling him, and it had nothing to do with the Grand Abyss or the Befallen Crown.

The door opened as Sano and Natta walked in.

"Hey, the boss told us to bring you here."

A girl with hair down to her waist was sitting at the table. She was eating an apple and reading a book with a calm expression.

Slowly, she turned her head as her green eyes fell on Sano, causing her to flinch.

"Has he prepared everything?"

Sano nodded, clenching her fists as a shiver ran through her.

"Yes. Aiden said it’s time for your final test. After that... you’ll be able to contact Ad—"

Before Sano could finish, Silvana appeared in front of her, her hand covering Sano’s mouth.

"Tshhh. I’ve been waiting so long. I want to say it myself."

Sano frowned, pushing Silvana’s hand away.

"It’s been less than a month since I went through the Void Transit!"

A sharp glint flashed across Silvana’s eyes.

"I know, but you of all people should know what happened to me during that time. Aiden... He kept his word, he didn’t hold back in his training."

Natta, being the calmer one, tried to defuse the situation.

Before answering, Silvana looked at her unusually long hair. Under normal circumstances, her hair couldn’t have grown that much in just a few weeks.
