Adam successfully destroyed the blood bubble, severing Zin's melody. He then used the released Blood of God to absorb and destroy his previous Nexus, the Staff of Defeat, to forge a new one. Adam received a new Nexus called Divine Touch, which manifested as a pair of gloves that perfectly suited his desired fighting style. With his new power, Adam returned to the battlefield.

Adam's initial Nexus were the gloves. Indeed, throughout the years, he had utilized numerous iterations, ranging from basic hand coverings to formidable battle gauntlets, capable of unleashing potent waves that made his threads vibrate.

Now, a return to the fundamental design was at hand, augmented with a celestial enhancement.

Tap.

A gentle touch halted Zin mid-motion, just as he was poised to conclude the bout with his next strike. Considering Adam's critical condition, this would have been sufficient.

Admittedly, Zin had scant moments to process the unfolding events. His sole comprehension was the sudden appearance of crimson gloves on Adam's hands and a resurgent power within him.

For the first time in a significant period, his primal predatory instincts had surfaced, a signal that unequivocally indicated dire peril.

Click!

Zin snapped his fingers, instantly repositioning himself several yards away.

A ripple of astonishment coursed through the spectators. The consensus was that the confrontation was moments from its conclusion, only for Adam to not only recover but also acquire a novel armament.

Among the multitude of onlookers drawn by the spectacle, merely two individuals perceived the exact nature of the transpired events.

Es'aha turned towards Kaerno, her hands tightly clenched. 'Tsk, so he incorporated Queen Elisa's blood? He accomplished this just now? Merely moments before Zin's imminent triumph?!'

Kaerno's smirk widened progressively.

'Gloves, you say? Very well, let us ascertain their efficacy. You dedicated Queen Elisa's blood to this implement, implying it possesses considerable significance, correct?'

Crack.

Accompanied by the grating sound of fractured bone, Adam pushed himself up from the ground, immediately registering a fresh injury on his chest. His ribs, though severely compromised and barely containing his vital organs due to Zin's precise incision, were the source of agonizing pain.

Blood seeped from the wound, and if this bleeding persisted, Adam's capacity to continue the fight would be drastically diminished.

Concurrently, Zin directed his gaze toward Adam's newly acquired gloves.

Initially, they appeared unremarkable, yet Zin soon discerned a peculiar detail.

Three slender conduits of black iron extended along the gloves, situated between Adam's knuckles. These tubes terminated at Adam's wrists in sharp points.

'Hmm? Does his prowess not lie in threads and incisions? Why would he require these gloves and pipes? Furthermore... Could this signify his Nexus?'

A calculating glint flickered in Zin's eyes as the realization dawned upon him.

'Wait… So, all this time, Queen Elisa's blood was acting as a barrier to his Nexus? If that is indeed the case, then these gloves… were they conceived from her blood?'

Thump!

Zin's heart pounded with apprehension. He was aware that Adam's Nexus constituted a formidable weapon, akin to any Phantom's ultimate ability, but the current circumstances presented an entirely new paradigm. This was a weapon born from the very essence of Queen Elisa's blood; its potency was of an entirely different caliber.

"Agh."

Adam exhaled a deep, weary sigh as the conduits on his right glove began to vibrate subtly.

Crimson fluid erupted from the conduits, coalescing in front of Adam. At his mental command, the liquid transmuted into a multitude of luminous red threads, which swiftly converged upon the gash on his chest, sealing the injury precisely as the white threads had previously mended his shoulder.

'Are these novel threads…?' Zin's apprehension mounted, only for him to dismiss the thought. 'No, that is not the core issue. The critical factor is this blood. If he can manipulate this blood into threads, what other capabilities do his gloves possess?'

Before resuming their engagement, Adam cast a knowing smile toward Kaerno.

"Hmm?" Kaerno arched an eyebrow, intrigued.

It was uncommon for him to be uncertain of the subsequent turn of events.

Whoooooosh!

With a swift, decisive action, Adam shed his tattered robe, the loose garment Kaerno had provided prior to the match. While it suited Kaerno's aesthetic, it was not Adam's preference.

Before any observer could gain a glimpse of his exposed torso or any other detail, powerful torrents of blood jetted forth from six openings on his gloves, enveloping his body in a dense sanguine layer.

Immediatly, the blood coalesced into countless threads, meticulously weaving a long, crimson coat for Adam. This garment featured a high, pointed collar and three dark straps descending from its midsection. The hemline extended to his ankles, while the sleeves were notably short, concluding just below his elbows.

"Tsk." Kaerno clicked his tongue, a displeased expression crossing his face. "Must every situation resolve in such a manner? What aspect of my stylistic choices do they find so objectionable?"

Sarka's eyes gleamed, reflecting the distant stars.

"Whoah! His new attire is incredibly stylish! Boss, you ought to take notes on fashion. Your sense of style is abysmal!"

Kaerno placed a hand on his temple, his demeanor conveying such profound sadness that one might assume he was on the verge of tears.

"Ah… No one appreciates my fashion sense… My aspiration to become a tailor is evidently unattainable..."

Sarka scrutinized him intently. "Boss, you realize not a single individual within your faction would be attracted to that, right?"

In response, Kaerno leaned his head on his fist.

"Pfffft, indeed, it was an error in judgment to recruit all of you. My faction is populated entirely by ruffians devoid of even a modicum of mercy."

"Hehehe, mirroring the boss, aren't we?" Kaerno chuckled, his gaze turning towards Es'aha. "Yeah, I suppose you're right, little trash." Es'aha, being the second monster aware of Queen Elisa's blood residing within Adam's inner space, immediately deduced the origin of his gloves. 'Damn it! How could he do that?! Zin was so close to victory!' STEP! Adam's imposing boots, which materialized alongside his coat, landed with a thud as he advanced. "Are you prepared to resume?" Zin assumed a fighting posture. "These gloves… are they your Nexus?" Adam offered a nod. "Indeed. I had hoped to showcase the prior iteration, but regrettably, that opportunity has passed." "What you stated before you acted… was it truthful?" Adam grinned, channeling his Qi into the gloves. "Absolutely. I guarantee that by the conclusion of this battle, you will experience something unprecedented. It will be a novel sound, unlike anything you've encountered, and nothing else will ever rival it." Zin's smile wavered slightly. "That's quite a solemn vow." Tremble. A latticework of crimson threads materialized before Adam, densely interwoven, resembling a spatial blueprint. "I am aware. And that is precisely why you must be braced for it, Zin."
