Adam, Loargh, Vyora, and Sarka advanced through the Pit toward the sword wall, following the amber flow while preparing for the third Frenzied Servant. Red Scavengers ambushed them, drawn to the energy; immune to its destruction, they absorbed it, went berserk, and unleashed red ray barrages on Sarka and Vyora. Loargh unleashed white lightning, swiftly destroying several attackers and revealing his formidable power.

The Red Scavengers appeared less threatening than the first or second servants. Instead of unique monsters posing a clear danger, they looked like upgraded Gray Watchers.

However, with over a dozen of them present and having absorbed the amber flow, things escalated quickly. That flow held mere traces of the Frenzied Shard's energy—remnants from the second servant—yet it sufficed to boost the Red Scavengers' strength immensely.

Indeed, Adam, Loargh, Vyora, and Sarka possessed the power to deal with this threat. Their main goal remained the third servant, expected to hold strength exceeding the others and even fifty Red Scavengers combined.

Yet Loargh chose to handle the whole challenge alone. His motive wasn't to flaunt his abilities, but to make up for his earlier error.

He might have alerted Adam, unaware of the details, yet he refrained since he deemed the chances far too low.

Nevertheless, at times, even the tiniest odds greater than zero proved overwhelming.

Whoooooooosh!

Loargh dashed with such velocity that white streaks trailed behind, creating constellation-like designs across the dark sky.

Each bound he made concluded with another Red Scavenger's demise. The creatures attempted to evade, seize him with their limbs, or bite into his body, but none succeeded.

From the side, Adam observed, joined by Sarka and Vyora. For him alone, this marked the initial glimpse of Loargh unleashing his true potential.

To track every motion, Adam's gaze pursued Loargh, absorbing his astonishing swiftness.

'He's fast. Incredibly fast. His defense and offense might not excel, but… that velocity lets him evade everything. Must Sarka and I face him?'

Adam gripped his fists hard.

'Trouble. Sarka and I can't match his pace. Plus, Vyora will aid him. How do I evade Loargh while dodging a crashing meteorite?'

As merely a handful of Red Scavengers lingered, Adam grasped a key insight: Loargh's current feats showcased purely his raw energy and bodily might.

'What occurs if he and Vyora activate their Hollow Marks?'

No solution came to Adam's mind, though he sensed discovery loomed near—and it spelled ill for him.

Of course, were Adam a scoundrel, he'd plot a sneaky assault on Loargh and Vyora prior to their clash, striking when their guard dropped lowest.

Adam, however, rejected such tactics. A win like that offered no growth or satisfaction.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

Loargh pressed his assault relentlessly, leaving the trio mere spectators.

"Agh, Loargh, just like ever." Vyora let out a deep sigh, hand pressing her right flank. "Once he commits to a goal, success is guaranteed."

"Hah," Sarka scoffed. "Isn't that true for all of you? Bet he drilled that move hundreds of times before debuting it in combat."

Oddly, Vyora offered no retort.

Her face serene, she stated:

"Thousands."

"Hmm?"

"He drilled that assault thousands upon thousands of times, skipping no spars and aiding every monster in our dome pillar."

Vyora faced Adam, who eyed Loargh intently while he obliterated the final Red Scavengers.

"Clearly, the effort paid off. Adam, you lack a counter to this speed, right?"

A cold glint flashed in her eyes briefly. Allies for now, but the third servant's fall would turn them foes. Different sides, single victor.

Adam found himself stunned. Speechless to her query, Sarka's quietness worsened it. Had her Hollow Mark countered somehow, she'd have said so earlier.

Yet prior to Vyora's triumphant grin, a somber aura surged from Adam, draining color from her cheeks.

In an instant, Dark Energy seeped from him. Red Scavengers and Loargh sensed it, but Vyora endured its heaviest impact.

"Fear not, future rival. I possess a means to snare even Loargh."

Sarka and Kaerno's pillar monsters knew of Adam's Dark Energy. To Vyora and Loargh, it shocked.

Step.

As Adam advanced, his shadow swallowed Vyora amid the gradually densifying gloom.

"The Dome Eclipse techniques prove potent. Repetition aids mastery, revealing your limits clearest in spars. However…"

His tone deepened.

"None of these efforts will let you accomplish anything remarkable, not even after a thousand years. To grow stronger, you'll eventually need to throw yourself into a life-or-death fight."

Shivers raced across Vyora's skin as she swallowed hard. Better than anyone, she understood her complete helplessness against Dark Energy. She'd witnessed far too many times the pillar's mightier monsters wielding that power, and it filled her with terror every single instance.

Nevertheless, far from being foes, Adam's oppressive aura slowly weakened until it vanished entirely.

"Gha!!!" Drawing in a deep gasp, Vyora stumbled back several paces.

"Khm."

A cough echoed from nearby.

Whirling about, Adam spotted Loargh positioned right beside them. Blood soaked his white robe—or more precisely, its expansive hems.

"I think we ought to press forward."

Nothing lingered behind them except a dozen craters already gathering dust and sand, alongside the Red Scavengers ripped apart. Some had been reduced to nothing but crimson smears.

Adam shifted his attention toward the wall of swords.

"Yes. You're correct."
