Bologue, Serey, and Olivia are on the run from the Night King, who has become a Calamity and is severely weakening them. They face obstacles and ambushes, including the Bloodthirsty and Night Race members, but manage to overcome them with their powers. However, the Heartless and the Night King continue their relentless pursuit, pushing Bologue to use his Ether abilities to create barriers, which are ultimately destroyed by the immense power of the Seeker of Glory.

Bologue couldn’t tell if this was the Secret Energy inherent to the Heartless themselves, or Extraordinary Power bestowed by the Immortal Armor, but regardless of which, under this onslaught, even Bologue felt incapable of confronting it head-on, and the darkness continued to spread.

Beyond the many Heartless, a pure darkness continued to slowly writhe, like an invisible torrent gradually surging forth, slowly devouring all matter.

Bologue suspected this wasn’t so-called darkness at all, but an erasure of existential meaning.

The darkness continually influenced reality; under its corrosive influence, everything around it gradually became blurred. All colors, sounds, temperature... all information comprehensible to the mind was devoured by this darkness, leaving only absolute blackness.

The Heartless roared forward, seemingly not only pursuing Bologue and the others but more like fleeing from the consumption of darkness.

The absolutely unknown darkness put Bologue on edge entirely, and he couldn’t help but shout, "Serey! As the servants of the Sin of Pride, do you really know nothing about his worldly calamity?"

Serey shook his head forcefully, "Nothing!"

He was telling the truth; having lived so long, it was Serey’s first time seeing the worldly calamity of the Sin of Pride. Generally speaking, the birth of a worldly calamity was the last resort for Devils interfering with reality when they encounter a predicament.

To make a Seeker of Glory completely fall.

It was an expensive price to pay, but it yielded very impressive results. They had seen those extremely terrifying worldly calamities, unbeholden to the constraints of time, possessing evil might that surpassed Seekers of Glory.

"Starting over again."

Bologue complained as he sculpted sharp Long Spears with Deceitful Snake Scale Liquid, hurling them into the depths of the darkness.

The silvery-white metal flashed a brief radiance, like a meteor passing in the darkness, disappearing without a trace.

No sound of collision echoed back, nor did Bologue detect any feedback from the Long Spears; even the Ether he had attached to the spears was curtailed the instant it was consumed by the darkness.

Bologue, with his professional expertise, speculated about the nature of the darkness, deducing the power the Night King wielded at this time.

The darkness seemed to have dimension-altering power, rendering the previously familiar spatial structure indistinct. Wherever it reached, everything was forcibly merged into the black, obliterating differences in spatial depth and direction, ultimately becoming an enormous black plane.

Smooth and seamless, without depth, height, or width, no measurable dimension; like a bottomless Abyss, unable to be gazed into its unknown depths.

Seeing Bologue prowling around the darkness, Palmer and Hinda decisively released Secret Energy, bearing the pressure of the Heartless for Bologue, but just like at the beginning, they lacked the capability to confront it directly and could only fight and retreat, reducing the areas they traversed to ruins.

Bologue continuously launched several Long Spears into the darkness, also attempting to infiltrate with his own Ether, analyzing the essence of the darkness with his innate aggression.

But in this dark plane, everything became chaotic and indistinct, all the forces invested were like kites with broken strings, receiving no response.

Bologue frowned deeply; if this Night King crisis could not be resolved, it would spell failure for this mission, something Bologue couldn’t accept, thus a crazy idea arose in his mind.

"Aimou, prepare for deep overlap."

Hidden deep within Bologue, Aimou was startled, but after hesitating, complied with Bologue’s directive, intensifying the power of Heart Overlapping Shadow, further submerging into Bologue’s mind, nearly overlapping entirely with his thoughts.

Immediately, Bologue hurled several Long Spears behind him, deeply embedding them under the ground, the ends of the spears extending chains that tightly linked Bologue to them.

Before anyone could react, Bologue charged straight into the Heartless crowd, swinging his Sword Axe with abandon, cleaving through limbs and flesh before diving headlong into the writhing darkness.

Almost instantly, Bologue felt himself stepping into a realm of lightless void, where time and space seemed to lose their significance, everything appearing to be frozen in this darkness.

Vision, touch, hearing... here was an abyss beyond human perception, where all things returned to zero.

Darkness began its spread, like layers of black velvet unfurling across space, without fixed form yet possessing great inclusivity, attracting all surrounding matter into its vortex, disappearing into its embrace one by one.

Bologue was no exception.

The originally familiar spatial structure twisted and deformed within this darkness, unable to maintain its former shape.

As if in a hallucination, Bologue saw those distant stars, bright lights, and colorful landscapes, but soon, under the devouring of darkness, they became blurry and ultimately vanished.

Absolute blackness, absolute silence.

Darkness.

Here lies absolute void, where everything becomes hollow and godless, even the strongest light cannot pierce through this layer of darkness, the sharpest sound cannot break the silence.

No need for swords or axes, under total sensory deprivation, Bologue retained only his thoughts, but even his mind whirled into madness due to the confusion in the sense of time.
