Bilogue emerges and confronts a large group of powerful Heartless, including Defenders and Seekers of Glory. Serey admits fault for past actions that led to this situation, particularly his avoidance of confronting the Night King. Palmer expresses concern about their slim chances of victory, while Hinda suggests retreating. Olivia insists they must destroy the ritual array in the Origin Tower to disperse the Dark Iron Curtain, but Serey hesitates to face the Night King. Bologue prepares for battle, and Olivia merges with his shadow to assist. Serey readies the Bloodthirsty Dagger for a final strike.

Then... then Bologue saw a silent darkness.

Behind all the Heartless, at the end of the Pilgrim’s Courtyard, behind the tightly shut door leading to the Origin Tower, darkness was seeping through the cracks. It flowed like a viscous liquid, in a strange and eerie manner.

In the brief moment of gazing, Bologue’s senses quickly detached, his gaze locked onto the darkness, unable to move an inch.

As if bewitched.

The flow of darkness resembled a wicked dance, leaping, twisting, spreading. Wherever it reached, everything seemed manipulated and twisted by invisible forces, descending into chaos and madness.

"Bologue..."

A deep voice emerged from the darkness, like an aging old man calling his name.

"Bologue!"

A familiar shout echoed in his mind.

Who is it?

Bologue’s thoughts gradually froze into a block; he didn’t know who was speaking from the darkness. The voice in his head felt inexplicably familiar, yet it was difficult to discern its identity.

"Wake up! Bologue! Don’t sink into it!"

The shout grew anxious, like a Heavy Hammer, repeatedly striking the already frozen Bologue. Cracks spread rapidly, offering a sliver of relief to his stagnant consciousness.

"Aimou?"

Bologue recognized the voice, then immediately became aware of his current situation.

His senses were being peeled away by the darkness bit by bit, while the darkness continued to expand before Bologue, as if it transcended dimensional limits, effortlessly covering over the Pilgrim’s Courtyard, engulfing the Heartless, gradually surrounding Bologue like a tide.

Deep within the hazy and chaotic darkness, there seemed to be a power that captivated the heart. Bologue’s body, mind, and spirit trembled intensely, and soon, his entire being began to distort like an abstract painting, stretching into crude blocks of color, elongating into thin, noodle-like bands.

Influenced by the gravitational singularity deep within the darkness, his fully distorted body spiraled, being gradually pulled into the core of the darkness.

"Wake up! Bologue!"

Serey’s shout exploded like Thunder by Bologue’s ear, accompanied by piercing pain.

In an instant, the abstracted darkness before Bologue and his abstracted self suddenly collapsed; everything returned to normalcy. He blinked, his clothes soaked with cold sweat, pain surging anew. Turning his head, he saw a Dagger buried in his shoulder, blood staining the area red.

Before Bologue could ask anything, Serey grabbed him with a tense expression, pulling him backward to escape.

After staggering a few steps, Bologue turned his head, only to see the Heartless pursuing in unison. Behind them, unknown darkness completely devoured the closed door, like a rotating and expanding black hole, obliterating all light, sound, and cognition within range.

Bologue asked blankly, "Is that the Night King?"

"Yes!" Serey quickly added, "But also not!"

Without looking back, Serey said, "Now he is just a monster controlled by the Devil."

Inside the Origin Tower, the Night King raised his shifting and transforming body. Although the thick chains still bound him, they clearly could no longer restrict his power.

Darkness poured out of the Origin Tower like a tide. It ran rampant like the waterfall at the top, engulfing everything in its absence of light.

A massive amount of Ether gathered in the Origin Tower, continuously compressed and condensed, gradually covering the Royal City until the Ether concentration reached its peak, crushing reality and dragging the entire Royal City into the Ethereal Realm.

In the Ethereal Realm, the Night King will free himself from the bonds of the oath and personally slay the traitor of the eternal night.
