Endless Debt Chapter 1339 - 105: Abyssal Well

"It... it’s lifting the Golden Palace up!"
After a brief moment of shock, Aimou exclaimed with utter disbelief; she couldn’t fathom the plot unfolding in such a direction.
This calamity, or rather... the Beast of the Herd, wrapped in the burning Golden Palace, forcibly lifted it off the ground.
The Beast of the Herd struggled mightily within Raymond Gaudent, each of its actions stirred layers of ashes, blanketing its surroundings in a gray mist, obscuring the full view of its massive body.
Yet even so, Bologue stood on Ashen Plaza, able to catch glimpses of what was happening within the Amber flesh through the chaotic ether reactions.
"I give my body, mind, and soul, all of everything, everything to you."
At the top of the Beast of the Herd, Hammer descended from the high sky, half-kneeling on the sticky surface of flesh, still devotedly praying. But around him, the flesh writhed, extending countless scarlet filaments. They crawled up Hammer’s legs, torso, head, and advanced inside his body through his throat, ear canals, and nasal cavity.
Soon, Hammer’s prayer became a blur, accompanied by pained gasps, as if ensnared by a web, completely cocooned into a scarlet sheath.
"All of this is for you, Great Lady, our Mother."
As Hammer uttered the last prayer, no sound was left in the scarlet sheath, then it began slowly sinking, piercing like a long nail into the massive amber flesh.
Bologue could clearly see the sheath extending in the transparent flesh and witnessing the Beast of the Herd rapidly proliferating countless blood vessels connecting to the sheath.
It was evolving, proliferating.
Starting from the sheath, gelatinous cells enveloped it, frantically replicating, proliferating, with neurons interwoven in between. It inflated like a balloon quickly occupying a large area within the transparent flesh. Initially, it remained in an indefinite liquid state, but within seconds, it began to solidify, presenting specific forms one after another.
The brainstem, cerebellum, hippocampus, thalamus, cerebral cortex... it perfectly replicated all the structures of the human brain. It was like a human brain detached from Hammer’s head, only thousands of times larger than a normal human brain.
Thick nerves extended, connecting and directing various parts of the massive body, as this chaotic and frenzied monster gradually awoke like a terrifying machine now with a driver.
"Oh, is this how you control it?"
The Regent King looked at the agitated Beast of the Herd below, Hammou fused with it as one, using his consciousness to control it. But the Beast of the Herd was too terrifying and too enormous, leaving little time for the Regent King.
"Although not knowing why they suddenly fixate on this ruin, it must be said, this ruin is truly fascinating."
The Regent King murmured softly, his body crouched as he was about to strike like lightning when familiar etheric reactions descended from the sky filled with rage.
"Stop!"
With Holt’s furious roar, the Regent King rapidly turned, the Shadow Blade in his hand again writhing and expanding, instantly transforming into thousands of Shadow Spears striking upwards.
But this time the Regent King failed to repel Holt; he only saw the ether’s glow tearing into streaks of residual shadows at high speed, and then Holt bypassed all the Shadow Spears and appeared right before his eyes.
With a cold, sharp Steel Sword slashing down, facing this simple blade, an inexplicable sense of danger arose within the Regent King. He sidestepped to evade, the blade fiercely crashed onto the cliff behind him.
In an instant, countless cracks spread from the sword cut’s mark, like a landslide, collapsing and shattering the entire cliff face, even the most resilient rock crumbled under this blade.
"Iron-Cutting Steel!"
The Regent King exclaimed in excitement, "It’s in your hands!"
The Secret Sword of the Third Seat was sealed by the Order Bureau following the time-axis disorder event; the Regent King hadn’t expected the Secret Sword to end up in Holt’s possession.
Holt ignored the Regent King, his heart consumed only by anger, an affronted fury.
Since Holt began overseeing the Abandoned Land, no major incidents had occurred, yet today the Regent King broke through his guarded Forbidden Land.
The opponent was a Seeker of Glory, a title higher than his own, Holt could easily use it to defend himself, but he was unwilling. To Holt, facing the facts, any excuse other than resolve is a disgrace.
The Secret Sword repeatedly thrust out, deftly dodged by the Regent King. The Seeker of Glory’s power erupted, unleashing Ethereal Amplification Power at the Extreme Realm, directly striking Holt’s head.
In the Regent King’s anticipation, this single sword wasn’t enough to completely kill Holt, at most, it would injure him. But as the slender shadow sword was about to fall on Holt’s head, a series of ether ripples emanated from Holt’s body.
The first to be affected by the ripples was the Shadow Blade, instantly cooled as if plunged into icy water, then the Regent King’s sword arm, torso, and subsequently, he was completely enveloped by the waves.
The piercing shriek of clashing blades echoed, the impact from ether collisions pulverizing the surrounding rock walls. Large pieces of debris plummeted down, smashing upon the Beast of the Herd, and shattering into fragments.
