Bologue and the Regent King engaged in a fierce battle across the city, with the Regent King displaying immense power and an arrogant demeanor. After a brutal exchange where buildings were destroyed and blades clashed, the Regent King seemingly gained the upper hand. However, in a surprising turn, the intense fight abruptly paused when the Regent King offered Bologue a drink from a nearby convenience store, and they began to converse as if nothing had happened.

"What exactly are you planning to do?" Bologue asked.

"Me? I’m just looking for someone, but clearly, I’ve been tricked by her and found the wrong person," replied the Regent King.

Bologue speculated, "Are you referring to Olivia?"

"You know her?"

The Regent King’s face lit up with joy, and after a moment of realization, he said, "Of course, you’re a member of the Undying Club with the scent of pure blood... that should be Serey’s blood, right?"

Bologue nodded, having underestimated the significance of blood to the Night Race, understanding now how much crucial information they could extract from a single drop.

"That makes sense, so you would know Olivia."

The Regent King nodded to himself, finished the cold beer in one gulp, balled up the can, and tossed it into the trash can.

"What makes sense?" Bologue was puzzled, "Why does knowing Serey mean I would know Olivia?"

Bologue realized he was caught in a complex web of relationships, involving disputes among the Pure-blood Night Race... stemming from conflicts left over since the Dawn War.

"Because Olivia is Serey’s daughter, Serey Villeries’ daughter."

The Regent King casually dropped a bombshell, seeing Bologue’s somewhat dazed expression, he asked, "What? Serey never mentioned this to you?"

Bologue stared blankly, his voice stuttering a bit.

"No... never mentioned."

Olivia? Daughter of Serey?

Oh my god.

Faced with this revelation, even the duel with the Regent King seemed insignificant to Bologue; Serey actually had offspring, the promiscuous stallion actually had descendants, how could this be?

Given Serey’s numerous wives and his indulgent lifestyle, Bologue always thought Serey should be frequently paying child support, yet it had never occurred, nor was it mentioned by Wei’Er and others, leading Bologue to once suspect if Serey had made himself sterile.

Bologue’s head was a chaotic mess, but setting aside those ludicrous thoughts, he suddenly understood why Serey was so against the recent rise of the Night Race event.

Post-Dawn War, the Night Race should have completely vanished from this world. Yet, in the "Dawn Oath," Serey, out of selfishness, erased one name.

That name was Olivia Villeries, his daughter.

She became the last living pure blood, and when the Night Race rose, it was inevitably related to Olivia. Serey might not have known exactly what happened, but he knew anything about it must involve Olivia, he didn’t want to face his daughter, hence his constant evasion.

"Hey, Bologue."

The Regent King gently patted Bologue’s shoulder, bringing him back to reality. He gestured towards the surrounding silence that had settled in. As Bologue was thinking, the inverse color ripples exploded again, pulling the two back into the Mirror World.

"Round two."

The Regent King kindly reminded, and right in front of Bologue, he summoned the slender and deadly Shadow Blade once more.

Raging Ether exploded in the street, in an instant, the buildings along the way collapsed, turned into ever-spreading ruins. The two figures twisted into dazzling lights, sometimes overlapping, sometimes separating, materialized ether thunder tore close to the ground rampantly.

The Regent King showed no intention of repairing the Mirror World; to him, Bologue had torn a rift in the Mirror World himself, a part of the fair duel he had earned.

The two darted through the city, Ether’s power shot through the air, stirring a whirlwind and thunderous sounds. Each clash released blindingly bright energy; buildings toppled one after another, the earth cracked into the Abyss, and neighborhoods were destroyed one by one.

Bologue’s muscles bulged, gnashing with Shadow Blade in rapid succession, emitting thunderous roars with each strike capable of causing massive shockwaves.

The Power of the Extreme Realm rudely swept Bologue away, his figure flipped quickly in the air, crashing through a series of buildings before landing in a wrecked office space.

Bologue checked his injuries—a twisted steel bar pierced through his abdomen.

It’s nothing.

He tore away the broken steel and rushed out with his sword once more.

Fierce flames burned, black smoke billowed, the entire city was wrapped in their fierce battle, like an endless savage war. They fought with all their might, leaving no opportunity for respite.

"Really exhilarating!"

The Regent King’s irritating voice incessantly echoed; even as a Seeker of Glory, under Bologue’s relentless attacks, he added several scars, but the next second, the wounds would heal themselves, leaving Bologue unsure whether it was due to the Seeker of Glory’s high degree of Etherealization or the Undying Power brought by the Blood of the Night Race.

The two tussled at close range, like a falling meteor, they slammed fiercely into the ground, releasing terrifying shockwaves. The fountain in the square instantly tore apart, with water columns transforming into giant water arrows, shooting towards the sky.

Amidst the rampant dust, the inverse color ripples exploded once more, the ruined square restored again. Bologue panted heavily, gazing at the Regent King on the other side.

The Regent King yanked off his ragged tie, collar wide open, revealing his muscular chest.

Bologue also stretched his body; the two walked in tacit agreement towards a nearby bench, readying to plunge back into the Mirror World.

"This world wasn’t meant to have the Night Race anymore, let alone pure blood."
