Endless Debt Chapter 1187 - 31: Contradictory Spiral
Previously on Endless Debt...
Graystone Town is said to be a small town, but due to its complex terrain structure and closely packed buildings, finding someone in this small town is extremely difficult. However, if you say it’s big, it isn’t that large either. With a clear direction, Bologue as a Negative Power User can traverse it completely within minutes.
"I said they’d crawl out at night, these vermin."
Bologue gazed at the church filled with bloodstains and dismembered flesh. He had sensed the conflict here the moment the first dull gunshot resonated through the night, rushing there at high speed.
The situation was as he expected; he became an uninvited guest, intruding upon these people’s conflict.
Inhaling the scent of blood permeating in the air, it was like a stimulant, fully awakening Bologue’s spirit and body.
"Yo, Father, we meet again."
Bologue looked at the figure almost entirely engulfed by thorns at the end of the bloody scene and corpses.
York’s face had already become a mangled mess, blood-soaked thorns thrusting out from his eye sockets, crushing and mangling most of his face. If it weren’t for the shining cross on York’s chest still emitting a golden glimmer, even Bologue would find it hard to recognize this monster’s identity.
Taking a deep breath, Bologue stepped forward a few more paces, and as he advanced, the Secret Energy·Commanding Decree released further, the invisible power surrounding everyone becoming even heavier.
The two nearest fanatics to Bologue opened their mouths wide, producing a series of gurgling sounds from their throats, and then a large mass of blood poured out. Simultaneously, their chests noticeably caved in.
Their chest cavities along with both lungs were crushed into a mass of filthy blood, their feet lifting off the ground, and under the immense pressure, their spines bent backward, the harrowing sound of bones breaking continuing, until their entire bodies were compressed into a grotesque ball of flesh.
Amidst the wailing cries, the Thousand Jin Power surged from all directions, eventually collapsing them into a scarlet blood sphere composed of mixed bodily tissue.
The two blood spheres silently hovered, the next second they burst open, and in the sound of trickling water, blood soaked the ground, flowing into every corner.
Having done all this, Bologue remained expressionless, as if the brutality just witnessed was an accustomed affair... and for him lately, this indeed was something usual.
In successive battles with the Night Race, these Undead had gotten on Bologue’s nerves. As long as they were not completely killed, they would rise again, so Bologue invented this ruthless move, using terrifying Power of Command to thoroughly crush their bodies, giving no opportunity for revival.
This move worked well against the Night Race, and it should be the same for the Scarlet Sect.
"Scarlet Sect, Night Race, what else?"
Bologue looked around and then fixed his gaze back on York, seeing York’s twisted and distorted form. Suddenly, Bologue understood why he had initially felt hostile towards York during their first meeting.
Gazing at the rampant thorns, a familiar rage spread within Bologue’s chest. It felt fated somehow, Bologue hadn’t expected to encounter it so soon.
"Original Sin Armament?"
Bologue walked straight towards York. Under the restraint of the Power of Command, everything within the church seemed frozen in time, at Bologue’s whim.
In a shattered visage, scarlet eyeballs slowly rotated, and York looked at Bologue approaching, fear and unease gripping his mind.
Faced with this extreme anxiety, York wasn’t unfamiliar with it; he had experienced it before in someone else.
The one known as the Regent King.
Bologue’s figure gradually overlapped with his, turning into a mass of evil incarnate...
A presence that must be obliterated!
Thinking this, York’s expression turned furious again, attempting to move his body to slay Bologue, but his effort was futile, unable even to sway the thorns.
Bologue didn’t notice the change in York’s expression, even if he did, he wouldn’t care.
Tino also glanced sideways at Bologue. If York turning monster frightened them immensely, then Bologue’s arrival signaled complete despair.
Tino had witnessed the power of Negative Power Users before, but never encountered such lethal force, as if his entire being was commandeered, rendering him motionless, leaving only despair inside.
Yet, as Bologue neared, his features becoming clearer from the darkness, that despair transformed into a numb desolation.
"Bologue..."
A raspy voice emerged from Tino’s mouth with difficulty. Bologue turned his head, "You know me?"
Tino didn’t respond, merely laughed hoarsely. Of course, he knew Bologue, as did many others.
With Bologue assuming the role of action team leader, he relentlessly executed his swift and vigorous style, eliminate one enemy after another with efficient cruelty. Coupled with Bologue’s previous record, it’s hard not to notice him even if he didn’t want attention.
Within forces like the Scarlet Sect and King’s Secret Sword, Bologue had long replaced Lebius, becoming a new formidable entity to contend. Knowing what kind of person Bologue was, the instant Tino saw Bologue, his spirits utterly died.
