Endless Debt Chapter 1061 - 106: Fall of the Mountains (Part 4)

Just as he was about to strike Bologue again, he suddenly noticed Bologue had vanished. The beams, now without a target, decelerated and dissolved into shimmering motes of light. Then, as if finding a new mark, they surged erratically towards Morrison.
As Morrison pondered the unexpected turn of events, he saw chains, extending from the Secret Sword whip, reaching for his back.
The instant he turned his head, Morrison was met with a ghastly visage.
Bologne excelled at deception. The Iron Spear he had flung was entwined with a Phantom Dagger. The moment their exchange concluded, the Face of Horror unleashed its full power, assaulting Morrison’s mind.
Morrison was momentarily stunned, and in that brief second, the Vengeful Saw Axe descended, cleaving into his shoulder.
The fully roused Vengeful Saw Axe gnawed at Morrison’s physique like a ravenous beast. The axe blades' serrated edges resembled monstrous fangs, twisting and locking with ferocious intensity, emitting a piercing shredding sound.
Subjected to the combined onslaught of the Face of Horror and the Vengeful Saw Axe, and witnessing the horrific spectacle upon his own body, Morrison roared out in unbearable agony.
Despite his inherent arrogance, Bologue's sheer terror shattered Morrison’s resolve, reducing him to a state of frenzied madness, akin to an ordinary man.
Ether surged forth, and Morrison attempted to employ Light Feathers to push Bologue back, but the Ether barely manifested for a moment before dissipating and leaking away, as if his Alchemy Matrix had been compromised.
Protection·Soul Sucking and Essence Stealing.
While the Vengeful Saw Axe tore at Morrison’s flesh, Bologue was also aggressively siphoning his Ether. Witnessing Morrison’s abject horror, Bologue erupted into laughter.
The Vengeful Saw Axe shredded the muscle and tendons of his shoulder, exposing the bone beneath. The interlocking saw teeth relentlessly ground against the bone, producing a deafening cacophony of friction.
Bologne released the Vengeful Saw Axe and seized Morrison by the throat. With a blast of wind, the Storm Feather sliced through the swirling dust, precisely severing the wing emerging from Morrison’s back.
They plummeted towards the ground. Beneath Bologue’s relentless assault, Morrison moaned in profound torment, his eyes wide with despair and terror, his body convulsing uncontrollably, utterly incapable of resisting his impending doom.
The Vengeful Saw Axe slowly dragged downwards, Morrison’s breaths grew shallow, his flesh shredded like wisps of cotton, blood profusely staining the saw’s teeth. He sensed the malevolent weapon growing more ravenous, craving more flesh and blood, yearning for more human lives to be consumed and devoured.
"No, no, no!"
The sharp, grating sound of the saw echoed in Morrison’s ears. The scene was starkly visceral and sickening, triggering an involuntary tremor.
Morrison’s desperate pleas seemed to find an ear, as Bologue unexpectedly withdrew the Vengeful Saw Axe, ceasing the brutal dismantling of Morrison.
"Ha... ha..."
Morrison gasped for air, his chest heaving painfully. With each labored breath, a substantial amount of blood escaped. Mercifully, a residual trace of Ether remained, just enough to facilitate Etherealization and stave off immediate death.
Footsteps could be heard approaching from the distance. Palmer emerged from the rubble, striding towards them with a stern expression.
Morrison’s psyche, thoroughly fractured by the compounded fear, cried out, "I surrender!"
They were field operatives from the Order Bureau, requiring intelligence. Morrison was convinced they wouldn’t execute him on the spot.
"What do you want! I’ll give you anything!"
Bologne remained silent. Palmer, however, reached Morrison. He surveyed the weakened, near-lifeless man before glancing at Bologue.
After a brief pause, Palmer removed his worn black hood, nodding in agreement. "You are correct."
He softly declared, "Violence begets peace."
