Aella regained control of her body after Yohan departed the soul subspace and awakened the exhausted Aira, explaining their entrapment in his realm and his supreme dominance. Shaken but defiant, the women resolved to escape by heading into perilous zones against Yohan's warnings. From afar, Yohan anticipated their folly and tasked Snowy with safeguarding them, planning to send Elsa and Vanya soon before returning to the river shore city.

Beyond the soul subspace, chaos and turmoil engulfed the entire River Shore City, with every resident feeling those intense tremors and terrifying pressure that left their bodies quivering in dread.

Folks began pouring out from their homes to figure out what in the world was happening, the Lin Clan serving as the heart of the uproar. Lately, the city had undergone swift growth, and everyone sensed an impending war that would consume all in its path. The Lin Clan's Young Master stood at the storm's center, and the real worry gnawed at them: the patriarch had vanished, leaving everyone anxious and terrified for their survival.

"We must take action—if we stay in this city, I fear we might lose our lives!"

"You're right, someone needs to step up. I'm worried for my family!"

"Yes, we have to do something... With the patriarch gone, the matriarch must answer for her son’s misdeeds."

"Not just the Nichole Clan he wiped out—rumors say he also crushed the Xian Clan, slew Elder Xian, a key minister of the Northern Family. That kid's a total menace!"

"Exactly... He's picking off major figures one by one, sheltering their followers as refugees. It kicked off when he took in the Hundred Poison Valley folks, already stirring chaos, but now hauling in hundreds of thousands of slaves to plague us all."

"He's rattled the foundations of this once-peaceful land... Someone has to stop him, or we'll all perish with our families."

A huge throng assembled in the city streets, heading straight for the Lin Clan mansion, whispers buzzing among them.

At that moment, Alena and the others spotted Evelyn hovering in the sky, gazing down at the spot of Yohan's clash with Aella—now devoid of any trace of Yohan or his two opponents.

Moments later, she touched down where the group stood, and Aana gave a slight bow upon seeing her master before moving to her side.

Alena remained stunned by the events unfolding before her; with Yohan and those two gone, dread filled her for what might come.

"Don't fret—he won't kill them. He wasn't even serious facing them head-on, so no need to worry about Yohan or your sister's safety, Lady Alena," Evelyn assured, eyeing Alena.

"Are you certain he won't do anything? I've never seen him like that..." Alena replied, her voice shaky. Jasmine rested a hand on her shoulder to soothe her.

"I'm sure he won't do anything to harm you—he knows that full well," Evelyn replied to Alena, then turned to Elsa nearby.

"Any way to reach him?" Evelyn inquired. Elsa let out a deep breath.

"Only he can access that realm—we can only wait!" Elsa answered, both women privy to his location.

Alena and Jasmine exchanged puzzled glances, clueless about their exchange, though Aana quickly grasped her master's intent.

"I'm not worried about Yohan—it's that mob marching this way that concerns me!" Elsa declared, facing Evelyn.

Evelyn's fists tightened in mild irritation upon hearing her; she could catch all the chatter and murmurs echoing through the city, knowing Alena wasn't fit to handle any of it.

Alena looked baffled at first, but clarity hit when loud uproar erupted outside the Lin Clan castle. A guard rushed to her, nearly collapsing at the sight of Evelyn, yet he dropped to his knees.

"My lady, a furious mob has gathered outside, demanding you. If you don't appear, they might storm the gates!" the guard warned, voice laced with terror.

As those words left his lips, mortal dread seized him—his body wrapped in a deadly aura, death seeming imminent. Evelyn, already fuming from the city's noise, bristled at his report.

"How dare they..." Evelyn muttered, summoning a sword into her grasp. The guard swallowed hard, bracing for doom over his words.

"It's fine, Lady Evelyn—it's my duty to face the city's people," Alena sighed, gazing at Evelyn. Jasmine's face fell sadly; Elsa stayed poised, expectant.

"You sure? I can deal with those pests if you wish!" Evelyn murmured to Alena.

Alena gave a wry smile; she knew Evelyn might slaughter masses in fury if she went out—after all, she'd once razed a whole city, slaying every soul within.

"It's okay... I can handle it..." Alena replied, then eyed the trembling guard on his knees.

"Lead the way!" Alena commanded. The guard nodded shakily, relieved, inwardly cursing his rashness.

"Mother, I'm coming too!" Jasmine clutched Alena’s hand, unwilling to let her confront the wrath alone.

Alena stroked Jasmine’s head. "You can't— you're pregnant, and I won't have you or the child see anything awful. Stay here; I'll return shortly!" Alena smiled, denying her, mindful it would worsen things if Jasmine, from Hundred Poison Valley, appeared.

Jasmine fell quiet, eyes filled with sorrow; she grieved being part of why Alena faced the River Shore City's ire—its people yet to embrace her or Hundred Poison Valley folk, viewing them as outsiders or refugees, scorned by all.

As Alena moved to depart with the guard, a bolt of lightning crashed down, and a figure materialized before her, startling everyone. Tears welled in Alena’s eyes at Yohan; Jasmine's fear and sadness lifted in relief; Elsa smiled faintly; Aana blushed; Evelyn stayed impassive.

"Yohan..." Alena breathed softly. Yohan cupped her face, meeting her eyes intently.

"You won't face this alone anymore—from now on, leave it all to me!" Yohan declared, pressing a kiss to Alena's forehead before turning to Jasmine.

"You're coming with us too!"
